Today I applied for a state park job and will hopefully be working as a park technician in a few months. If that doesn't work, I might work at a more locally owned park rental business that rents all sorts of boats.
  2. Sad, but true. At school, when the Alumni come to meet, half of them are couples that formed during their school years. Nowadays that's almost unheard of :(. How old are the alumni? the dating game has changed significantly in the past 30 years. I guess what I'm getting at is people tend to break up over nothing now adays with out bothering to work anything out. And on the other end of the equation are those who are unhappy but don't feel itas right to be single. So there's an insane amount of divorces going around. And society these days practically embraces polygamy. it's terrible. I'm shocked any relationahip can make it these days. Due to the economic turmoil, there is an increased rate of divorces. Lesson: Don't marry an investment banker. The true lesson about avoiding divorces of course being don't rush into a marriage or feel pressured by outside influences (parents, society, elderly couples). Side note, I remember meeting an elderly high school sweethearts couple once. They seemed like closet alcoholics who's playful jests at each other weren't playful.
  3. Yea man, this weekend's going to be awesome at that gym. I'm totally gonna bulk up right then! Don't forget your whey protein!
  4. There are homeless, panhandlers, and panhandling homeless. I will only help the homeless.
  5. They should attach speakers to stands along the border so people monitoring can yell at drug smugglers. Or play Ride of the Valkyries.
  6. In a good mood, Reb? Oh, and good story.

The worst part is how they bleed for what seems like an eternity. That's why I try to shave at night. I don't want to go out in public and wipe blood off my face every 3 seconds. Funny, that's the same reason I shave right before I leave the house. [/hide] I hate shaving. It always makes my face itchy. Aftershave/washing your face after? Probably would fix that right up. I do use aftershave, and i wash my face after. I just get itchy from soap or anything of the sort. so the razor foamy stuff makes me itchy, and so does the aftershave. Well, that's crummy. Does your face get dry and then start itching? That could be solved with moisterizer. Otherwise, I'd suggest changing shaving cream/aftershave.
  8. I saw on The Daily Show (not horribly reliable) an interview with an ex-interregator who was saying that the majority of the times violent or physical torture is not needed and just trying to essientially become friends with the suspect or prisoner is more effective in getting information. Now, that might not work for all prisoners, but is definitely a more humane approach. I believe the guy wrote a book too, but the title escapes me.

You could use Rogaine, but it would look funny. The worst part is how they bleed for what seems like an eternity. That's why I try to shave at night. I don't want to go out in public and wipe blood off my face every 3 seconds. Funny, that's the same reason I shave right before I leave the house. [/hide] I hate shaving. 12. Hilarious :P Thanks for this site :D How would she know? Incest!? These are quite amusing.
  13. The rare automatic motorcycle: Ridley. Only for old people (I hope). As for cars, a lot of people live in urban areas, so manual transmissions don't make a whole lot of sense. Also, more and more cars are coming out with paddle shifter options with an automatic clutch (or sport shift), so I bet we'll start seeing the traditional manual transmission lose even more popularity (sales).
  14. Broken Flowers was pretty good. I'm really beginning to enjoy the semi-awkward dialogue that isn't always perfectly wity or timing. I happily recommend it, plus it's on Hulu if you don't feel like tracking it down somehow else.
  15. Theater people in general are known to flutter. They're crazy folk.
  16. Will you be contributing to this thread, or are you just here to troll? I contributed a couple pages back. I really don't mean it as trolling, more just wondering why people fly off their rocker at some very trivial things.
  17. Me thinks your jealous of everyone's levels. .... yeah :( I'm gonna have to go with Quoi_Tu on this one. Haha, I think it's stupid too, but Nadril's still totally jealous.

  19. ^ ANGST/high blood pressure?
  20. Is that a Dragonforce cover a Talking Heads classic? I youtube'd it and no. Thank God, that could (would) have turned out horrible. Tabula Rasa - Arvo Part An amazing piece that I just can't stop listening to.
  21. To keep me from doing my math proofs homework (damn inductions): Agility: 60? I run, climb, hike. Attack: 1 I'm more or less a pacifist. Strength: 20 I'm quite skinny. Defence: 20? I can run. Construction: 20 I've only ever built one table, a chair, and part of a stairwell. Cooking: 35 I love cooking, but am not the best at it. Crafting: 30 I can do minor repairs and make a good number of different things. Firemaking: 60 Who doesn't like starting fires? Fishing: 45 I'm going to learn how to fly fish in a few weeks, but I also greatly enjoy surf fishing. Fletching: 2 I made a bow and arrow once. Runecrafting: 1 Slayer: 1 Smithing: 1 Summoning: 1 Thieving: 1 Woodcutting: 45 I've taken down a good number of trees and am the one in my family who splits all the wood. Ah, a good distraction if any.
  22. Oh, ok I was a bit confused. My suggestion is to bring it up next time you're having a nice conversation with her if you need reassurance. It's not like it's an awkward topic right? And yes you seem like a good couple.
  23. I know a guy like that! Also, what's with all the angst in the thread? I ask this everytime a thread like this pops up, but I never really get an answer. Why so angsty? You couldn't resist eh? I thought you'd comment on the first part not the second. The second wasn't aimed at you and is a serious question. Why so angsty?
  24. Dump her now, before things get worse! What are you asking about because you listed details, but no real question. Do you have any specific questions or are you just posting?
