You're almost liiiiittler than me. :3 At 6', I've been up to 140 (peak tennis season) and down to 123 (when I had my wisdom teeth removed). The curse of a high metabolism and low appetite. How old are you and are you a boy or girl? Because if you're a boy in puberty (I think that's safe to assume), then you will put on weight naturally towards the end of adolescence through muscles. Also, 5' 8" and 120 isn't bad... I'm 6' and 131. Why do you want to gain weight?

Not really reading the past pages, I would say to just present an argument not based on impulse as to why you want your nose pierced. If they say no, then either get it pierced behind their back (bad idea) or move on to the next thing (you're bound to forget the whole thing in a year or two). But, honestly, nose piercings look good only on a very select few and I still don't take those select few very seriously. Piercings aren't all that bad since they can heal back up. Tattoos usually are regretted, but as long as you don't get a large or noticeable one, it can provide some good memories and great stories.

Haha, any news/media source other than AP fair? Classic. God forbid one network have a differing bias than six flavors of CNN, three of NBC, and 60 Minutes. Which is why I only read my news (NYT, WSJ, The Economist). However, if I do watch it on TV (usually as background noise), I put on CNN. Honestly, I think they're the least biased. Although if I want something funny, I just put on O'Reilley. :P Or how about a drinking game?

Did you watch the news ever, before this election? They repeat the same stories throughout the day on the hour, sometimes not a single new bit of information is even given each time, because they're on 24/7 (as explained by Jake). If there's 4-5 top stories during the day, they'll repeat the same 2-3 over and over, and they'll repeat the other 2-3 sometimes. It's nothing new, it just seems that way. Thats just as stupid. Why? Unless you are under the impression everyone watches the news at the same time.

You have to watch it? Can anybody tell me if you had to watch George Bush get sworn in for the first time also, in school? We did when I was younger, but now I'm in college, so professors don't waste time during class.

I was going to say that! Then, this: I don't think I'll ever own a Willys Jeep, but maybe a 1970s CJ5 or 7. Believe it or not, but old jeeps have my favorite interior: steel floors, flat steel dash, and uncomfortable seats.

I call it a principle, you know, human compassion and all. I guess that's really what this whole debate boils down to. You either buy into society helping the needy, through actions or taxation, or you don't. Or the wonderful golden mean.

I assume you've got some good mechanical knowledge backing that purchase? (or I guess a lot of money) I think my favorite 1960s car will always be the 1964 Mustang. Typical, but one of my favorite designs. Of course, I'm not counting the 1969-1972 Opel GT, which I will buy one of these days. With a bike that sexy you can steal it (the picture, not the bike!) all you want. But be careful, 'cause let's just say, I know a guy who knows a guy.

I never said people don't tire of conflicts in the middle-east, read my whole post. * * Even in a given fictional circumstance where 100% of the population "tires" of hearing about conflict. I wouldn't want my news sources to cease providing me with information of such conflict. The options are: 1. live in a fake-peaceful world or 2. live in an informative, cruel world. I'll choose option 2. No ones arguing ignorance for bliss, just stating that the conflict is tiring and frustrating. That's why I'm confused as to what you're arguing about. Oh yeah, edit in red. OT: I think Israel is looking for an excuse to take the Gaza Strip. Hamas knew the attacks would create retaliation (Israel has attacked for less) and was already hiding. At this point, I guess we should hope surrounding countries continue to allow aid to get to Gaza.

This seems like it could blow up quite fast. I wouldn't be surprised if Israel set some other military operations in effect. Someone needs to delay this conflict quick or it will get worse. l0rd, people do tire of conflicts in the middle east. It is a correct generalization, why are you arguing about it?

Economics, but choosing from the list, I would say mathematics.

Replace some of the middle pages of a cheap hardback book with blank pages. Or wire parts of the diary, so that if he reads it he'll be shocked. Or keep it on the computer hidden away. Personally, I'd go with the shocking one.

I've been designing a car in my head for longer than I can remember. Right now, the design is based on a 1997 Honda Civic 4dr, a 2003ish Mercedes CLS, and the front end of a early 2000s BMW 300 series (I don't know BMW models all that well). It's a two seater with two doors (not a normal coupe, they have bigger doors). I haven't decided on a color yet.

As has been said, people from capitalist societies are likely to want more money proportional to the training needed/effort put into a job, while I suppose those from communist societies wont. It doesn't exactly answer why wanting a salary proportional to how hard your job is and the qualifications and training needed to do it would be greedy. To me, that's not greedy. That's as fair as fair can get, because you get out what you put in. Unfair to me would be dedicating a significant amount of time and effort to get a job which earns the same amount of money as a job which takes relatively little training and effort to get. Well, Ginger said pretty much what I was going to say (in a better way) and that is what I think the problem is with communism. People need a motivating factor. They want a reward for what they do; otherwise, what's the point?
