  1. In a word, yes. He quotes it like it's been written elsewhere, but it hasn't - he made it up. Somewhat tasteless if you ask me, making up stories about people who have committed suicide for your own entertainment.
  2. It's one thing to fabricate a story like that, but it must take a special level of idiocy to then cite sources which contradict it.
  3. helmut4lyfe1988, I already posted the ocforums link and it directly contradicts what you posted, as does the gamepolitics one.
  4. How2PK, it's very likely to be false. Link to a more accurate version: http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=437852
  5. Cite your source? A gamer named Kudjo or something similar DID commit suicide but that was due to school and financial problems. It looks like you just took that story and poorly butchered it, getting the facts all wrong.
  6. 1. This is off topic forum, not for runescape matters. 2. That's about as funny as haemorrhoids, and I'd know.
  7. The girls will love it if you can't skate. You are humbled and therefore accessible. The only time I have been ice skating I could do it instantly, but that's because I could rollerblade beforehand. If you are absolutely adamant on being able to do it, get some cheap rollerblades and learn to skate. As for stopping, you just drag one foot behind you so that the blade is perpendicular to the direction of travel.
  8. People would just get around it too easily as well.
  9. You don't have to use something as unfit as a blog for a site, I am surprised at your apparent lack of knowledge about these things. There are plenty of free CMS out there which can be adapted far more than a simple blog site, saying to use something like blogger.com is misleading. Examples include PHPNuke and Plone, both of which are simple enough for a novice user to set up and offer functionality that even a massive site could use. For instance my university's website is a Plone site and students are taught how to use it in the web development level because it caters for both simple content management and more advanced stuff like UML, python and CSS.
  10. No, there aren't regions. Example: people buy USA world of warcraft disks to play on the USA servers.
  11. That's absolutely ridiculous. It might be true if you're gonna be running a massive site but for the sort of person who would come here to ask how to find a good host it is completely unnecessary to script and code their own site and not use a CMS.
  12. I was once on a bus, near the front, telling a joke to my friend sitting next to me. When I reached the punchline some guy right at the back of the bus burst out laughing.
  13. What are you talking about Bubsa?

The novelty is wearing off with mine, but that's the thing with piercings - they close up if you take the ring/bar/whatever out.

Those are the words of someone who's simply not hard to the core enough to get some.
  17. Probably because it takes a modicum of intelligence
  18. Perhaps he meant popularity amongst us? Overall popularity could simply be looked up. Posting a topic like this invites the input of opinions.

Don't you understand? They make you 'alternative' and being 'alternative' is cool these days. You need to watch more MTV.
  20. It's got nothing to do with how popular it is, it's how GOOD it is. And the Simpsons nowadays and for the last 5 series or so has been absolutely DULL. The Simpsons has been SO overdone that I will turn over if it comes on, even if it's a 'new' episode.

Oh yeah another thing is anaesthetic: Some places use it, others don't. The first time I had my eyebrow done they didn't, the second time they used a spray.

Lip will be very painful and you won't want to smile for a while. The lip has more nerves in it than the eyebrow. Eyebrow is not as painful, but still worse than ear piercing as they have to use a needle with a canular as opposed to a gun. Get a ring in the eyebrow, not a bar to start off with. A ring is easiest to clean, but more likely to catch. You can expect them to bleed for a few days, then for a month or two they may ooze pus occasionally. Both will require cleaning regularly or you will get infected. I have 2 eyebrow piercings and 1x 10mm tunnel in my left ear. The tunnel was the most painful by far as I didn't wait until it had healed properly before stretching.
  23. Yes, that's one of the main uses for external drives And yes, not through direct connection to your drive but through your computer. As for what drive to get, my suggestion would be to get a normal IDE drive of 200GB size and an enclosure which effectively turns it into an external drive. These enclosures can be found at most computing shops and it shouldn't be hard for a layperson to assemble either. All of that together should be a fair bit cheaper than getting an external drive.
  24. The immature ones hate emos/goths because they subscribe to false stereotypes, the mature ones hate them because they are attention seeking egocentrics just trying to fit in.
  25. That must be the shortest message that I've found hard to read.
