  1. So you KNOW you're posting in the wrong forum...but you do it anyway? What are you trying to do, get banned? Think that will help with your essay? Hint: people who can help view the tech & computers board, the only replies you'll get here are spammy ones like this...cleverclogs.
  2. I tore a ligament in my knee when crouching down to straighten a rug.
  3. Videogames made him do it. That much is obvious.
  4. Think how much effort you have to put into being anonymous though, I'm posting here but didn't give any of my personal details out...or did I. The admins have my IP, from which they can find out exactly who I am. So I'm not anonymous.

Are you gonna finance that lawsuit?

He didn't make *A* stupid mistake, he made a chain of 'stupid mistakes' which he has shown no regret over. Anyone with half a brain would realise they weren't mistakes.

    It's about time this happened.
  8. What the hell has this got to do with alzheimers?
  9. It's not celebrity big brother, it's washed up celebrity big brother.
  10. I tried to play the tabletop game version (as opposed to computer) one christmas whilst drunk, I fell asleep. I know the rules from the computer games, but I couldn't be bothered to play it on paper.
  11. Why do you need all those gimmicks? The best keyboard for anything is the IBM Model M, the one I'm typing this on is over 20 years old and it's got at least another 20 years in it still to go. It won't break or wear out, it's completely strippable, and it provides the best tactile feedback of any keyboard ever ever ever. It's keys are far enough apart that you won't hit two at once, each keycap comes off for cleaning, it has no crappy windows key..
  12. One funny thing I saw was at the pocketpc forum I visit:
  13. I just happen to like getting what I pay for. If I'm home in the evening then I don't want to wait until the next day to read the postings because I've spent 12 hours downloading headers.
  14. I'd appreciate it if only those with experience in this area reply, I know a fair bit about computers so I am not in need of the standard advice. I am using usenetmonster.com to read newsgroups - I am on a 2Mbit line, and usually get around 220KB/s download rate, however lately during evenings I get <4KB/s download rate... I can download at full speed from HTTP servers, so it's not a block on my end at least. I am using GrabIT 1.5.3 beta as my client, but I'm not too knowledgeable about newsgroups in general. Does anyone know what my problem could be? I have actually emailed the company in question but they don't seem to want to respond. Thanks. P.S. Before anyone starts the piracy witch hunt cry, this is not for piracy. Believe it or not some people still like to use newsgroups for NEWS.
  15. And so natural. People have been doing it for millennia. Doesn't mean to say unnecessary suffering is good though.
  16. Like scheduling Daphne & Celeste to play at Leeds, yes, those of "Ooh stick you your mama too" and "U-G-L-Y you ain't got no alibi". I hope they have scars from the bottles.
  17. I sure hope they called the thought police.
