December 31, 200520 yr That is one sleek thing I'm almost thinking about spending the 75 dollars for it :| Any other nice keyboards out there of this par?! I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
December 31, 200520 yr Looks like a normal keyboard with a little LCD screen and some extra keys. Hardly worth the $75 price tag. It's not even ergo. :? Notoriously Trollish.

December 31, 200520 yr Author Cool? Yeah. $75 cool? Nah $60 cool then ;) I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
December 31, 200520 yr This is a cool keyboard thread, wyrm posted an awesomeone in the first post. Haha, I was looking for that, guess you beat me to it. Except that one isn't for sale yet :( . Gamertag: King Arizona
December 31, 200520 yr I paid 65 for my wirless keyboard and mouse how is this not a good deal for that?

Wireless keyboards and mice are usually crud anyways, I'd rather have a wire going behind my desk than replacing batteries all the time ^.^ I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
December 31, 200520 yr I spend hours apon hours on keyboard and mice based games and have found that my 1999 AST standard wired keyboard is the best for me. Yes it is 5 years old. But it works like new. Fast key response, compact, quiet keys. It's all around good. I also have a MS natural board I use. It is just as cool (except it has hot keys). And it's a tad bit younger.
December 31, 200520 yr The first one looks nice, I like the blue LED lights under the keyboard keys. Not worth it though. Guess its the gaming age. I'm basically content with just the basic keyboard I have though. I'd rather put money into the overall appearence of my system unit, rather then waste that much on a simple keyboard. R.I.P Shiva
December 31, 200520 yr The Wolf Claw is by far the best gaming keyboard ever. I'll just grab a pic :P Actually, just go here: http://www.extremetech.com/slideshow_vi ... o=2,00.asp

I hate wireless. Always have to be replacing batteries, always problems with the receiver, doesn't work properly when batteries start going low, and then eventually you have to throw it out entirely because it just starts dying even when the batteries are good. WHen I have my own house, nothing inside will be wireless. NOTHING. I won't even allow cell-phones inside ;) Runescaper (off and on) since late 2001
December 31, 200520 yr Meh, frankly I'm quite happy with the ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¡Ãâì5 keyboard I bought in an after-christmas sale... December 31, 200520 yr Wow, I'd never buy it. Kinda cool but at the same time kinda pointless. And look at this one: http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/input/7a67/zoom/ Lol, why do they bother putting WASD on there...The only reason people even use WASD is because it can get cramped with arrow keys and mouse real close. Plus there's lots of buttons around. But what's the point of printing THOSE letters over to the side, when there's already the regular part of the keyboard. Why wouldn't they just put arrows on them...Seems weird to me. Plus, that wouldn't help anyone at all with FPS. It would screw up people who've been using the same keys for a decade, and there's plenty of keys in similar poisitons on a default keyboard. The only helpful thing would be the circular 1-9 keys. As for yours, what's the point of having it display stuff on a keyboard. Then you have to look away. How's that going to help?
December 31, 200520 yr Mhm, my keyboard+mouse was much more expensive than that keyboard Runesmithie posted. Yet again, I can almost guarantee mine's more confortable. http://www.corante.com/mooreslore/archi ... gazine.jpg But that picture looks squashed... It's more lengthy... But the leather thing on the bottom is really comfortable. When I bought it, I was wondering about the way it curves and if it would effect my typing. It didn't at all. Infact; I found it much more easier to type. -Mitch- New sig to come!
January 1, 200620 yr It's not even ergo. :? Which isnt necessarily a bad thing. I for one hate ergonomic keyboards.

Why wouldn't they just put arrows on them...Seems weird to me. ...WASD is like the default commands for Up, Left (or straft left), Down, and Right (or straft right) in nearly every First person shooter I have ever played on the PC. Its almost like the universal command. Same as "c" is usually for crouch and "space bar" is for jump. And that specific part on the side seemed like it was specifically for gaming purposes. So it makes sense. Only took a quick glance at the buttons at least. R.I.P Shiva
January 1, 200620 yr And that specific part on the side seemed like it was specifically for gaming purposes. So it makes sense. Only took a quick glance at the buttons at least. It is (I already posted this keyboard on page 1). The design is speficially so that there is minimal movement between various keys. You look at the keys around it and you got almost every major key used in FPS within reach of any finger rather than having to move your hand across a standard keyboard OFF the WASD position to get to them (or off the mouse). I dunno but I get the feeling that Mr_Putter doesn't play many FPS :-?

Jump down a few rows, reload right there, crouch in good position, etc. Although I like to go goofy and hit it up with the arrow keys. I have my mouse click set as jump and the scroll is weapon change. \ is reload.
