  1. Volvo 440xi, 1.8. I drive it because its the first car I found for under ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã500.
  2. Hooray for ignorance! It's black metal that's associated with anti-christianity and satanism.
  3. No idea, it's all over a relatively long time so prices I paid won't be a reflection of the actual value. It's certainly not that special - hardly top of the range, its just 'good enough' for me to do what I want. A friend of mine has an A64 4000+, 1GB DDR400 and dual 7800GTX's in SLI. Some would argue he has more money than sense. And that's just his main machine... He's also got a ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1600 vaio laptop (13" or so), a ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1500 hifi, a midrange shuttle XPC and a ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã3000 downhill bike. Oh inheritances...
  4. A64 3700+ 1GB GeIL DDR400 Gainward 6800GT Golden Sample (due for upgrade this year) 570GB storage over 4 disks 2x 21" trinitron monitors
  5. AFAIK you can't use photoshop on it, but I don't know very much. As for installing it - don't install it as your main OS. Dual-boot if you don't know what you're doing then if you mess it up you have less to lose.
  6. You don't need luck, you need skills - like bo staff skills.
  7. I thought it was StompfesT who ran around in just a helmet?
  8. I PMed you.
  9. You probably remember me under a different name.
  10. Maybe if he can remember how to get to the farm?
  11. Is it really you?
  12. That sounds plausible, but it wouldn't explain why it happens to me in my house at home but NOT in my house at uni...
  13. That's simply ludicrous. You are saying that a 16-17 year old who may have a 'phase' where they're interested in politics (most are going through the "oooh government is evil" phase at that time) knows more about how the world works than a 45 year old man? Come on that is stupid. Someone of that age wouldn't know what is needed for a stable economy, or that when you create a solution to one problem you open up another - they just couldn't fathom it all. What you see in teenage views of politics is pure FANBOYISM. I know from experience. It is attitudes like the above that make me glad that the voting age is what it is, you almost make me want them to raise it. 2. Tiny minority, most likely been listening to too much Anti Flag. 3. With a car you can ruin your own life and maybe a couple of other peoples'. With an irresponsible vote you can jeopardise the future of an entire country. 4. The criminal age of responsibility - the age at which you are declared know right from wrong - is far different from knowing the principles of a sound government. His remark was a deliberately flippant one. I am 20 and I voted in the last general election and some local election before that.
  14. I have had a problem with my RF wireless mouse where it will shoot up to the one of the corners of my desktop at random intervals. It happens when I'm at home but not when I'm at uni, and I've still not found out what it is - I've tried changing the channel of the receiver. It's not the desk either as I've tried it on a load of different surfaces.

An out of character non-abrasive hint for a newcomer: People are edgy about what they consider spam nowadays, so be careful to have a good reason for making new topics (unlike this one) else folks might not be too pleased.

I think a good comparison is to the US version of The Office. It's the same style, similar twists to the original but its just not as good - everything is served up on a plate as though the creators think you are too thick to work it out yourself. Like the US version of The Office, it just feels patronising.
  17. Anesthesia replied to tragic00's topic in Off-Topic
I think that the twists were too obvious, it didn't feed you small pieces of information and they just attempted to hand the whole thing to you on a plate at the end.
  18. Original! You take an image that's been made by some OTHER 14 year old and post it as an insult to me... That burns, it really does. I thought people got bored of those images a couple of years ago now.
  19. You say that I'm right and that you should have looked there first (an admission that you didn't) then you say that it took you a long time to find one through the sticky and it didn't work and that's the reason you didn't read the sticky? Make your mind up.
  20. Try reading the sticky called FAQ - Index (Check here BEFORE posting a new Topic!!!)
  21. You can't compare The Office to Little Britain, The Office works on SO many more levels, there's decent acting, a good storyline and loads of subplots. I have watched it more than is healthy and each time I watch it I can notice something new.
  22. It got seriously poor in the most recent season, it all became far too silly.
  23. It should, unless it's a very cheap case where the dimensions aren't well thought out. A ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã20 case that I was installing a friend's machine to had 2 of the 5.25 bays blocked off by the motherboard, which was just idiotic of the designers.
