Halloween!
We do that, but folks still come. We even disabled the doorbell but once they find out, they bang the door as if they want to break it down. Kids are cruel.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Well, as they say, your wife/husband IS your best friend. So sex, rather, sexual physical contact friendship would be a relationship. After all, sex doesn't have to mean inserting your weewee in a veevee while discussing the difference of relationships and friendships; if it was just that, sleeping with a friend would be a relationship but making out with a friend would be a...? Right. Just a clarification, I hope.

Any ideas how to avoid trick-or-treaters from coming at my house in H'ween?

Got lvl 3 wc irl today... :ugeek: Just chopped up some palm stumps we got in the backyard for fun after I discovered we owned a hatchet. o.O But in more interesting news, the Lord Mayor of London came to our school today, in California. She "officially" invited our marching band to play in the 2010/2011 New Years Parade they have in London. :-D Go Eagles!

Worst case scenario
Yeah..But you'd have to be in a room with him.. No pain no glory.

Worst case scenario
Staying with a room with Hex isn't all that bad. Once you kill him, get out, you'll have eternal glory in the realm of TIF!

Childhood Games?
I didn't play much games in my childhood (little money...hm, seems like the same now!) but my ultimate childhood game has to be: Hell yeah! I used to RP in this too, lol. Making the entire lair like a whole region with the worlds as little towns and cities (Treasure Trove Cove was a tropical city!). I had too much imagination when I was a kid... But sticking to gameplay, I remember when I broke through the halfway point of the game (the 450 note door). Damn I was happy! And when Banjo Tooie game out? My mom took me the game store so I could play it there but the machine was out of order. I remember she called my dad to see if they should just buy me it instead. Some of the most nerve-wrecking times of my life. She did, and it did not disappoint.

The People Around Me
Today I went to school and noticed the people around me, remembering this thread. And it's amazing to see how much I progressed. It was a year or two ago, I felt school was a filled with a bunch of idiots. That *I* was better than all of them in some moraled sense. But I had to think critically. Who's the guy who has more friends? Who has a girlfriend? Who has achieved something? Not me. So it couldn't be that I was better than them, because if I was, wouldn't I have at least all these positions filled? So obviously, I wasn't better than them (In the social sense, disregarding morals/criminal activities, etc). I was thinking something like this last week too, before this thread was made according to Dizzle. I was asking the question, "Why should I bother in achieving anything great socially?" After all, schools do have a lot of idiots in them and I was falling a bit back into my previous thinking. And for some reason, I thought of Samwise's quote in LOTR: "That there is some good in the world, blah blah." Then on Thursday, we had a earthquake drill; so an hour standing in the football field doing nothing. Naturally you can't keep a school of teenagers amoung classes for long before they spread out to chat with friends. So it was then, I was hanging out with my best friend and some of his minor friends, that I somewhat knew. And it was then that I realized, using Samwise's quote, that there IS good people in the worldschool. The guys and girls I was there with me in the football field were overall-good moraled people, weren't douches, and weren't socially outcasts; but rather, socially acceptable and successful. And I knew there were more out there like them throughout the entire school, so that reassured me. -- Quite a long story, but I think it has great relevance (to a degree) to this thread. But anyway, Dizzle, if you're saying that the majority of the school are good people separately but not in a group, then that should reassure you. As I said in my first post, after High School, they're not going to see their group friends anymore. After High School it's mostly independent. And you said yourself, they are good people when by themselves! Winner! As for the bully problem, I would watch out. If you confidently believe in the threat, go after him if you want. Or prepare for it. Up to you. Not much I, or anybody else, can do for you in the act of self-inflicting justice.

Adventure and excitement in modern times.
I think it's the laws. Everywhere you go is off-limits. All the safety laws in mountains, rivers, etc limit the things you do so you HAVE to buy safety gear off some company. Secondly, our parents. I can't blame them completely, but they're a part of it. The media overhypes danger in the outside world. I always hear stories about the "good old" times where kids would play outside on the street, people left their doors unlocked, etc etc. There were thieves and kidnappers before, there are thieves and kidnappers now. Back back in the day, 14 year olds went out West in a caravan across the continent, had to face dangerous animals, indians, and the vast wilderness. Yet now a 17 year old is safely tucked in their house by their parents.

The People Around Me
"Human beings are programmed to notice the imperfections of others more than the imperfections of themselves." How true that is. I'm sorry, but Dizzle's just sitting there rocking back n' forth, avenging revenge in his head...and does nothing.

how does runescape help you in life?
Addicted or low self-control?

Autism in Runescape
Either way, if they did legitimately have Autism, they should shut the [bleep] up. From what I'm understanding, it isn't like a death-dooming disorder that makes you act [developmentally delayed]ed (in the social sense). And besides, we're discussing kids. 99% chance they picked that word up from their friends and think they got it.

The People Around Me
/join party Humanity, overall, isn't all that brilliantly good. But at least it's mutual. They're not crossing over to do bad things and such, but aren't gonna give up their money to charity neither. And may I ask how you KNOW he did those things? The rape, assault, etc? Oh and Aquarius, you better get a new Sarcasm detector.

The People Around Me
  As a Senior, I've noticed a lot less [cabbage] going on amoung our class than when we were Freshmen and Sophmore. As you grow you realize the "idiots" around you aren't going to be there forever. Your respect, fears, etc about others will be completely gone once that graduation day starts. Because, let's face it, who would WANT to see all X number of kids of your class on a regular basis years later? Just your good friends. Screw the rest. And that's when the idiots will be gone.

Oh, you're OCD too?
Money always has to be in the first slot of both the inventory and bank. I got so used to it I thought it was common sense. It wasn't until I saw a friend's bank and was stumped because I couldn't find out why it looked so odd, that people don't put GP in the first slot. :ugeek: But as a general rule for inventory, food goes bottom; runes, GP, weapons, potions up top. Drops and stuff in the middle.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
You could swallow your pride and be the little-known, but still considered Christian guy. It won't really kill you to be a bit Christ-y. Unless she's a religion nut. Which you should stay away...far awaaaaaaaaaaaay.

Your Perfect RS
The Movement and Combat of World of Warcraft, Free Trade, everything else stays the same. Best game ever...
-
The difficulty of Runescape
Actually, that's where you already go wrong... By making RS less time-consuming (what you call "easier"), the game becomes more attractive to *older* people. Young people: lots of time and no responsibilities in real life. Older people: hardly any free time and lots of responsibilities in real life. This falls exactly in line with Jagex' intention to get an older player base, also, don't expect Stellardawn to have skills that are as time-consuming as they have been in RS. Wow. This is the first time I've ever heard this idea/strategy...you are brilliant, sir. =D> Tell me about it...it makes no economic nor realistic sense that the finished product be cheaper than the raw material. Then what's the point of finishing the product in the first place?

What defines you as a runescaper
Playing in an entire world packed with several things to do; things that would take me years to fully fulfill every single one of them. That's what I think of RuneScape.
