  1. Not quite. If a commercial isn't truthful they may end up in legal troubles, so most commercials tend to only tell truthful things. For example, "leaves dishes spotless" may not always be true. To save themselvse possible legal issues, it should be "leaves dishes almost spotless". Of course, saying that wouldn't be very effective. That's why you see so many "weasel words" like virtually, fights, helps, etc. Even though it's truthful, it doesn't tell you anything about the product's effectiveness. Rubbing a dish with your fingers can leave it virtually spotless. Drinking water helps fight bad breath. etc.. I recommend taking a media studies course if your school offers it. Very interesting stuff. It's changed the way I think about the media. Good points, I guess I should of said 80% exaggeration.
  2. The handbook is fake, I highly doubt Jagex will undergo a mass-production of guides and sell it. Noob, as it's orginal meaning, means new player and I shall stand next to that definition as long as I live.
  3. 1. Is it wrong to love someone, if there is now way under any circumstance, you can be with them? Not wrong at all. 2. If you could have all the money in the world or true love, which would you choose? All the money in the world. I would not rather make someone love me by an magical-process for my own pleasure.
  4. The more a company advertises, the less it probably cares. Blizzard probably does care since they hardly ever advertise. I'm not saying they DO care, just they have a less chance of not caring. If they say they care in a commerical, I call that BS. Commericals are nothing but 80% of lies.
  5. I don't know about you guys, but I read books and see movies to tell a story. Not to analyize the words or pick the theme of it... sure they have meanings and messages, but to make them such an 'important' value in edcuation makes me sick.
  6. With him going back in and asking for free stuff after telling his story of his mothers death, automatically raises a SCAMMER ALARM warning in my head. I wouldn't be too trustworthy of a little-time known new friend in the Internet...
  7. Thou shall not speak of thy HQ's demonic ways! \Tips4lyfe \
  8. They are trying to be more user-friendly, using various aspects of fansites and other MMOs. Clan Chat is from the popular IRCs (or whatever they're called), the Grand Exchange is from WoW and other MMOs...they're just modernizing.
  9. With skill in real life, you can play a real life piano. I don't think Jagex had the Music Skill in mind when they did that examine. Plus, with the amount of people who hate the RuneScape music, I doubt Jagex is going to release a Music skill.
  10. "Who is more foolish? The fool, or the fool who follows him." -Obi Wan
  11. It's THERE. Not the best, nor the worst... It's just an expencive item...like a Beverly Hills mansion or a private airplane. Ain't the worst nor best t hing in the world...
  12. Neither. I win! \
  13. I'm generally against censoriship, so I just want Jagex to remove it... But, at the very least they could downgrade their censor so it doesn't block parts of words.
  14. This is the interwebz, get used to it.
  15. The way I see it, its like WoW's Aucton House. You pay a fee to place your item on it and only lasts certain hours, the longer the more the fee is. Max is 24 hours. So, its only temperially bankspace...
  16. He's a smart kid. I dont get it, and i re-read Lord of The Flies two days ago..meh. When I saw that passage, my life was complete. Please discuss the literary value of the great tale. Or...your own. Wait, was in the actual novel, or just in the movie? Cuz I remember it from the film...
  17. Rofl, reference of The Lord of the Flies...
  18. Five bucks is pretty cheap for a game. Imagene paying WoW for 3 people... $45 + $60 CDs... You could take a break for a while, or save up some extra money somehow if you really wanted to play.
  19. Huzzah!  Given the right circumstances, you might create a large fire with that.
  20. Ah, the old Nintendo 64...flying around in Banjo-Kazooie, shooting bombs at monsters...ah the fun. :
  21. Four-player Halo 2 battle in the smallest map with the biggest guns: rockets. It friggin' owned... o.O
  22. October 30th, October 31st, November 1st, November 2nd, whats the difference!? I stayed home and played WoW. :anxious:

You have to pick one for yourself, find something intresting that you like and write it. No sense writing a paper on George Washington if you loath history.
  24. The natural course of the economic system in RuneScape picks the values of items, to answer your questions. It's no ones fault, just there's some players who think economic value is law and not for profit...
