The 4 hour limit still applies to trades outside the GE. If I buy a fire rune from you in trade, I cannot sell fires in the GE for 4 hours.

From what I can tell, the rapier will be about 10% better for training than the abyssal whip, but 14% better for training than the saradomin sword. Anyway the whip has been at a "reasonable price" for quite some time. The saradomin sword has been priced much too high for a much too long.

I'm gonna guess speculation about the chaotic weapons replacing the saradomin sword as the best training weapon for strength.

What I meant was that the majority of players who buy a DFS do not use it for those purposes. They use it for slayer and general training, for which the DFS is an inferior shield

Most bosses can make 1m, 2m, 3m, even 5m an hour (the latter being solo armadyl with steel titan). Also anyone who says slayer is wrong, it will get you about 600k-800k/hour at best. BUT you don't want to do combat. So here are a few methods: Cleaning herbs (depending on the market) Making unf potions (easily 1m+, sometimes 2m+) Herb farming (per hour of effort) Brewing greeman's ale with the stuff (per hour effort) Shop runs

I've had two half shields from sara since my last real drop.

Umm I used them last time I went to TDs. The first one broke 38 shots in, the next one broke after another 303 shots. So my average so far is 1:170.5 shots. Was at 85 firemaking.

Me too, but we're both 99 prayer so we don't really care much for prayer xp anyway ;) But it's still invaluable to an F2Per. EDIT: So it's P2P only. Sad.

Not trying to troll here, but preferences are nearly almost irrational. Worth is pretty arbitrary; party hat values are pretty irrational too. The value of a prayer potion is rational: the cost of using one reflects on the benefits it gives you. People aren't rational about the DFS because it has gained stigmas such as "high level equipment", "hawt", "best strength bonus" which add goodwill to the shield beyond its utility.
