  1. BGS sucks for everything except for its special, which in most cases sucks compared to other specials available.
  2. Torag helm looks cool with Bandos. You could also wear a warrior helm - nobody wears them, but +5 slash is not worthless.
  3. Try making a post on RSOF - usually works for me in 5-10 mins unless it's like 4am.
  4. Had no idea you weren't allowed to skill on pvp worlds. That's what some level 92 would-be pker told me -.- .
  5. I took it a while back. When could we possibly expect to see the data and/or conclusions? I'm really looking forward to seeing this.
  6. If you do the quest: Unless you make less than 200k an hour, just buy them off the Grand Exchange. If you don't do the quest: Unless you make less than 20k an hour, just buy them off the Grand Exchange.
  7. It'd be faster and cheaper xp to just buy the ores and smith them in Edgeville furnace.
  8. Buy green leathers and use SC needles to make Green chaps until 63, then make bodies.
  9. Noted items don't raise drop potential anymore I don't think. :x Brutal. See if you can swap the bows for like poisoned addy/rune arrows then if you want to suicide with them for DP.
  10. Best: Rent out an SGS or AGS, if you have one. Otherwise you can just die and get some PVP drop potential.
  11. It is quick, compared to other skills. And they cost too much money, notice how my guide focused on money. Consider retitling your thread as "Cheap Fletching Guide 1-99", then. You should still run xp/hour, gp/hour, xp/gp rates.
  12. Very good guide. Here are a few spelling mistakes I noticed.
  13. I sometimes use quest guides: A) Fetching a bucket, swamp tar, a chef's hat, and a brass necklace is not my type of fun. B) Most questlines suck hard.
  14. Runescape would be comparable to an allegory, so details such as direction and magic shouldn't interfere with the deeper meaning. One of the requirements of being an allegory is that the creator(s) must have intended it to be such. I highly doubt that RuneScape was created to be representative of Renaissance Europe - just one point among thousands would be that the game was far smaller at its inception.
  15. Burst rock lobsters for your magic xp, since you're trying to get summoning xp too.
  16. Just climbing. You only need a rope for the first time you enter the dungeon or the first time you enter Saradomin's Encampment.
  17. Nah, once they hit the ground, they get destroyed . They do now. They used to be on the ground, along with your fire cape.
  18. For plank making, ballooning is faster. Make sure to eventually include hunting green dragons. This is one of the best money making methods in RuneScape, and you can start at a moderate level. (I make 650k/hour with maxed melee.)
  19. This is nothing new, sorry, and it's not even a "super quick" method. Consider researching fletching adamant/diamond bolts and compare the exp rates.
  20. Didn't know that there was widespread use of magic in the Renaissance. Also the Elf Lands are to the far west, not east.
  21. You have to drop ALL the robes you have, including the ones in bank. Just the individual parts, though.
  22. Aviasnsies are about 300k an hour, 350k if you focus. They reach up to 400k at 99 ranged. Green Dragons at your level should be about 450-500k an hour. At maxed melee stats I get about 650k an hour.
  23. I'd only bother with using void if you're just grinding on rock crabs, experiments, et al. I only use it at waterfiends anymore, since it has decent magic defense.
  24. You'll need 0 emergency food. I'd be prepared to use two bunyips for the whole task. Whip and Rune Defender is your best option. I mean your BEST option - nothing is better. Ranging is much slower, and it's a fairly inefficient method of training ranged - you'd be better off making money and chinning at Ape Atoll. Don't forget a rock hammer, as well as a nosepeg for running past Aberrant Spectres.
  25. Doesn't matter whose fault it is. It's a game, you move on, you make your coins and get your experience.
