replacable stuff like monks robes and books are useful too for your stat.s

second question, how dod you get past the chaos elementals?

I decided to start on a marvelous journey in hope of a ghostly robes, however, i got the lovely path C, relating to a pirate. Now my question is how hard is it to get into the evil altar? it seems very heavy in pk population thanks

1. yes they can pk you then 2. yes you can run back into the bank part and go back in again 3. protect from mage and you will be fine. I used mystic robes, didnt hurt too much after my prayer ran out. they hit max 20. i used lobsters.

its like 0.1 xp per damage. i dont get 1 xp per hit

banking at Burgh de Rott is not a bad idea if you finished In Aid of Myreque. Also, you may want to consider Ancient Magicks (Desert Treasure Reward), it allows you to teleport to Canafis (second nearest bank next to Burgh de Rott), and run to barrows from there. The ice spells work fantastically against the melee brothers due to their freezing (or if you will, entangle) effect. Just be careful though because when you cast an ice spell when some1 is frozen, the timer doesnt reset, so it may start moving at your surprise.

I know lyres can shorten the trip, but the spawn still is quite the distance from the lyre tele spot. It might be a little shorter, but keep in mind you have to waste a raw shark after every trip to get it charged again (or a bass with RoC).. yeah, but bass is easy to get, and 14 lyres can get you all recharged in the same load, so you dont have to recharge as much

That would be definitely correct, being on the being teleblocked side many many times, Ectophial, Magic, Glories and ring of life all dont work. Oh and teleblock lasts 5 minutes (!)

jebus your stats and you are asking? :P well your prayer is a bit low, so i recommed maybe some prayer pots against dharok, karil and verac trio. And yes Kill count increases the chance of barrows. it certainly does increase the quality of the runes dropped.

this is one of the most annoying part of the quest... what you need to do is after you talked to dave, you have to talk to her mother, and she will tell you that all the rats ate the spices... now, get your cat (not overgrown one, cuz it cant catch rats, nor a kitten because you will be there for hours), and tell the cat to chase-a-lot-of-vermins. the cat will kill the rat, and they will drop 4 different colored spices. you have to get the amount of each spice right in the stew to save dave. Trick is, firstly just add 1 dose of 1 spice, and talk to dave, he will tell you how many spices are right. If you get it right, record it, and move on to the next spice. etc. there are 4 to get right. Once you got all of them, make another stew with all the right spices in right amounts, and talk to dave again, he will try and eat it, and you will stop him. Tele back to lummy and you are done.

f2p or p2p? If f2p, buy coal and iron, smelt them for steel, sell them, repeat, thats what i did. p2p, complete the family crest, get the gauntlets embued as gold gauntlets, and mine gold ores, fastest xp if you are mining the raw materials

you could also add broodoo shield to that mix too

in fact i am sure that one has more reason to be ashamed over not having done Ancient magicks than not being able to use god spells (not shameful at ll if you didnt do it, like i didnt, just making a point), the spells are so bloody powerful that the godspells seems too much hassle to get

what he meant there is that if you only train 1 combat skill (of mage, range or melee), then your HP will be pretty close to your combat level. Otherwise its 10-15 lower than your combat.

try to get and use a dds, it will help. Its special is very good. You need lost city and 60 atk to wield it
