  1. I know lyres can shorten the trip, but the spawn still is quite the distance from the lyre tele spot. It might be a little shorter, but keep in mind you have to waste a raw shark after every trip to get it charged again (or a bass with RoC).. yeah, but bass is easy to get, and 14 lyres can get you all recharged in the same load, so you dont have to recharge as much

That would be definitely correct, being on the being teleblocked side many many times, Ectophial, Magic, Glories and ring of life all dont work. Oh and teleblock lasts 5 minutes (!)
  4. 905 at least if you arent using ring of charos, and yes the chaos gaunts are from the family crest reward.

i didnt say high alching, i said sell your steel bars. Steel bars sell for at least 600ea. ask howdydee for more advice, he is a superior expert than i am in this field.
  6. jebus your stats and you are asking? :P well your prayer is a bit low, so i recommed maybe some prayer pots against dharok, karil and verac trio. And yes Kill count increases the chance of barrows. it certainly does increase the quality of the runes dropped.
  7. this is one of the most annoying part of the quest... what you need to do is after you talked to dave, you have to talk to her mother, and she will tell you that all the rats ate the spices... now, get your cat (not overgrown one, cuz it cant catch rats, nor a kitten because you will be there for hours), and tell the cat to chase-a-lot-of-vermins. the cat will kill the rat, and they will drop 4 different colored spices. you have to get the amount of each spice right in the stew to save dave. Trick is, firstly just add 1 dose of 1 spice, and talk to dave, he will tell you how many spices are right. If you get it right, record it, and move on to the next spice. etc. there are 4 to get right. Once you got all of them, make another stew with all the right spices in right amounts, and talk to dave again, he will try and eat it, and you will stop him. Tele back to lummy and you are done.

f2p or p2p? If f2p, buy coal and iron, smelt them for steel, sell them, repeat, thats what i did. p2p, complete the family crest, get the gauntlets embued as gold gauntlets, and mine gold ores, fastest xp if you are mining the raw materials

in fact i am sure that one has more reason to be ashamed over not having done Ancient magicks than not being able to use god spells (not shameful at ll if you didnt do it, like i didnt, just making a point), the spells are so bloody powerful that the godspells seems too much hassle to get

what he meant there is that if you only train 1 combat skill (of mage, range or melee), then your HP will be pretty close to your combat level. Otherwise its 10-15 lower than your combat.
  13. try to get and use a dds, it will help. Its special is very good. You need lost city and 60 atk to wield it
  14. The Abyss
  15. with protect from prayer, perhaps Without, i doubt it
  16. Currently, running more than 30-40 barrow runs, i have become farmiliar with what is waiting for me in the barrows (a lot of runes and bolt racks...) however as of late, it may be my luck, but my runs are not as smooth as they seem. i found myself to have to resort to my pray pot more often. Here is my equip, inv, and stats, any advice are appreciated Attack 76 Strength 73 Defence 74 HP 76 Magic 72 Range 65 Prayer 52 Slayer 41 (just for the record) Equipment Farseer's Helm Unholy Symbol God Cape Rune Arrows Monk's Top Monk's Bottom Unholy book Lava Staff Mystic Boots Ring of Life Chaos Gauntlets Inventory: 200 Chaos runes 630 Airs 10 Law Runes Ectophial Rune Platebody Rune Platelegs Rune Kite Red Dragon Hide body Red Dragon Hide chaps Magic Short Bow Dragon Scimitar 2 Prayer Potions rest Monkfish Attack Plan : Dharok Karil Verac Gunthan Torag Ahrim Kill Count : 20+ (usually about 20) Now i understand that Magic Dart is highly recommended for Barrowing, and I do not deny its effectiveness, however because of my slayer level, i do not have the access to Magic Darts. Should I train my Prayer up more? If so, what would be a good level so i can alter my initial Equip to say Zamorak Robes (i dont think high level prayer is reachable with my resources as of yet) Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

potters wheel is a spinning table thing that potter uses to make pots out of clay, it spins because you can make circular pots much easier. As for potter's wheels positions, there are some in the barbarian village. to use them you have to use soft clay on the wheel (which can be made by mining clay and add water), and you can make clay things based on your crafting level. to finish the pottery, you must use it on a pottery oven, which should be right beside any potter's wheel you find.
  19. they cannot be traded unfortunately, you can only get them by killing stuff in the abyss...
  20. Dragon gloves areis available when you have finished all the sub quests (not including beating the culinoramancer), barrow gloves become available when the whole quest is finished When you finished the first part of the quest (no subquest finished), you are allowed a normal pair of gloves, then when each of the subquest is finished, it opens 1 after the other. starting from bronze
  21. torag for me... EDIT: though if one wishes to be technical, its a lv 1 (or 2?) spider on Ape Atoll. The nasty bugger poisoned me, i forgot and then was knocked down to 1hp, just about to eat, bam! poison kicked in..... lovely...
  22. the equip may not apply to you, but the attack plan should be followed strictly. The barrow brothers are deadly to those who are unprepared and/or have meager supplies.
  23. a very safe way is wear the best prayer bonus you can and take 10 prayer pots, you will be almost immune to the brothers then. that would get you to know what barrowing is like, and act accordingly later.

of course, there is a bank in the arena and in ardy, so the best way to get there is go with NOTHING on, so you dont actually lose anything when you get pk'ed, they have everything to lose (runes used to teleblock, entangle and their dragon dagger specials.)
  25. in that case, use the runners if you wish. I only said what said because i level my rc for higher runes as well
