Lol  Kids will keep paying $5 per month to them until they make billions and billions of dollars. Then they will plan to invent the "Rune Scimitar" and Dragon Halbard or w/e the heck it is. And poeple will go to Africa, which we will call the Wilderness for this short story and start killing people in level 1 (can attack people 1 age higher and lower than you [ie]) So, the world will be extinct, except one person, and that one person will be Chuck Norris.

Godslayer...Olympics. and as for ShadowFaxPZ or w/e, I love baseball, but I just love the excitement of Big Papi (David Ortiz) slamming a walk-off homerun to win a game. Or Curt Schilling's incredible performence in Game 5 in the 2004 ALCS versus the dreaded New York Yankees. If you say that baseball is not full of real athletes, pitching with a bloody sock after surgery, yes I think that takes some guts. Hitting a 100 mile per hour (no not kilometer) pitch, you try that from 60 feet 6 inches away. (18.4404 meters). Laying out for a short line drive to make a spectacular catch. That's what it's all about. Look at Aaron Rowland of the Philidelphia Phillies. Back to the bullpen wall, runs into the fence and makes the catch! He holds on!!! Breaks his nose and is put on the 15-Day Designated List (DL). 2003 ALDS, Boston Red Sox versus Oakland Athletics, Damian Jackson (2B), Nomar Garciaparra (SS), and Johnny Damon (CF) of the Boston Red Sox all run in on a shallow fly-ball. Damian Jackson and Johnny Damon collide. They are on the ground for over 10 minutes. Not suprised on how dangerous this game really is yet? You are 60' 6'' away from Homeplate. You pitch a 95 MPH fastball, the batter hits a hard line drive back at the pitchers mound at nearly double the speed. Off the face, pitcher is out for his career. Sometimes pitchers have lost eyes. Believe me, catching a "mile high" pop-up/fly ball is no easy feat either. It takes some skill to play baseball. Collisions, Fantastic Plays, BENCHES CLEARING BRAWLS! I will not say what I was going to say because I'd get flamed.(not that I haven't already gotten flamed ) \. You never know what's going to happen. 1986 World Series, Game 6. Bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, Darryl Strawberry of the New York Mets up in Shea Stadium with the Boston Red Sox needing 1 more out to win Game 6 to win the World Series in the best of 7 series, 4-2. The chance for the Red Sox to break the infimate "curse" that Babe Ruth casted on the Red Sox after he was sold to the New York Yankees, back in 1919. "Ground ball to first, this will do it- Oh!!! It gets under Buckners legs!!! He will come around to score! We are going to a Game 7!!!" (Not exact words). The Mets won Game 7 to win the World Series. But then in 2004, "Ground ball, stabbed by [Keith] Foulke! Underhands it to first and the Boston Red Sox are the World Champions! For the first time in 86 years. Can you believe it?" - WEEI Radio. Yes, steriods have made this sport that much worse, with the lying :^o from Barry Bonds in his chase for the most Homeruns of all-time. Reporters putting him down, and more recently, Jason Grimsley of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Currently, the MLB is doing squat about trying to make players not use performance enhansing drugs. They have made a 50 game suspension w/o pay for the first offence. On the 3rd offence, AUTOMATIC BAN FROM BASEBALL. (That means MLB, Class AAA, Class AA, Class A, and the Rookie League). The recent addition of the World Baseball Classic (Inagural Tournament being this past March) will bring Baseball to the most dominant sport in the world soon. I guarentee it. It may take 100 years but it will become the best sport in the world! . I hope this cleared up how great of a sport baseball is. Until someone can persuade me of how good soccer is, baseball will always be my favorite sport.

First I wanna say, Rebel, don't be stupid. I said that BEFORE the world cup. Plus, don't forget, this is the kid with no knowledge of Soccer. I only know that the USA came in like 4th or something in the Olympics in '04. I don't watch or hear anything about the International Leaders Events Soccer Championships from Versailles, France (as a fake example). So I don't know how good teams are. All I know in '04, the Czech was no-where to be found in those semi's. funny, becuase the USA didnt reach the semis in the olimpic football in 2004, the top 4 where, 1) Argentina 2) Paraguay 3) Italy 4) Iraq Hence, the soccer knowledge ^^^^^^ In earlier posts I mentioned that. I don't know much about soccer/football because it's the most [developmentally delayed]ed sport EVER!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BORING!
-
Made me laugh. Hard. Same here  I've never said anything about that lol.... Are you guys [developmentally delayed]ed? It was Iraquis that did that terrorism. It was Saudi Arabians. Are you joking?    PS if you read, it started with this convo... So don't be mentally challenged. And read.

does anyone know how to add a powerpoint presentation
Fadfdfd replied to alphafish's topic in Tech and Computers
You want to make a powerpoint into a movie? You can use Camtasia Studios. I believe that has some type of record button that it puts on MS PP and you can record it. Does that help? It was an incredibly vague question so it's perfect for this smiley :P. Not that one but this one: :wall: -
Well I was looking through the forums and notice that Bubsa has 8000+ posts. So I look how long he has been a member and I see June 19th 2004. This upcoming Monday will be Bubsa's 2 year anniversary. I don't watch or hear anything about the International Leaders Events Soccer Championships from Versailles, France (as a fake example). So I don't know how good teams are. All I know in '04, the Czech was no-where to be found in those semi's. The Democratic Republic of The Congo? Maybe I'm just Patriotic, but I see nothing wrong with the "United States of America". I wouldn't be talking. The United Kingdom? Ya know, the world oughta stop blaming the United States for everything. Yes, the USA makes mistakes (The highest person in the country is who I'm thinking of) but some of this stuff we can't help. Saudi Arabians running their planes into our towers. Don't try to persuade me that they didn't see the towers, because that's just silly. It was on purpose. =============================================== If England lost 3-0, you all would be like "What the [beep]? Why the [beep] did we lose this bloody [beep] football game? I'm so [beep] ticked off that I'm going to [beep] commit suicide because [beep] England lost 3-0!!!" Quickly off-topic Now I'm not sure how many of you Europeans know who Bill Buckner is, but I wonder how many Boston Red Sox fans commited suicide after he made the error in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series versus the New York Mets. Back on topic.. But seriously, and you say we over-react. I think there are a few serious soccer fans in the United States. Yes we over-react when it comes to baseball, basketball, football, etc... but I think we are just mad. It happens to every country.
-
Sounds like me kinda, only I'm shorter  USA are Champs of: American Football (they made it,), Basketball (they made it again...), Base ball (Made it.) and some Wintersports, and making nukes. Thats it really... Barely no one likes Soccer/Football in USA. I highlighted basketball, I beg to differ. The way that I obviously saw this is look at all the stars coming out of the MLS and the US. Landon Donavon, and many more (Sorry for not knowing a lot of soccer). Basketball Allen Iverson Kobe Bryant Tracy McGrady Paul Pierce TONS OF OTHERS, yet they still suck in international play. For those of you that think our baseball team is good, I'd disagree. We lost to flippin Canada in the WBC! CANADA! THERE WAS LIKE 1 FLIPPIN MAJOR LEAGUER ON THAT TEAM LMAO. It's really quite sad. Maybe it's just that I don't watch enough Brazil Soccer League or whatever the hell they have, but maybe I just seem to think there are no good players in those leagues, or better than the USA. I think it's because the media does it more. How many times (This is for Us [Americans]) have you watched SportsCenter to find highlights from the semifinals of the Japanese Baseball League. How many times can you look in the news to find, oh Liverpool won the Cricket Championships (Don't flame me if there isn't a cricket team in Liverpool). Never. That could have something to do with it Maybe it's just that the United States have come in the Top 5 in almost all events (Olympics for an example). If I'm correct 2002 (SLC, Utah, USA) 1st? 2004 (Athens, Greece) 2nd? 2006 (Torino, Italy) 2nd? Come on, you have to agree, in the past the USA has been really one of the premier countries ALL AROUND when it comes to sports. Don't even try to argue with me. Let's look at a fantastic soccer team... Brazil Hockey=Sucks Baseball=Not Great Basketball=Not Great Soccer=Excellent compared to... of course... USA Hockey=Great Baseball=Excellent Basketball=Great (Athlete-wise) Soccer=Ok You rarely find a team good at all those sports. It just is.

Sucks. Punk is for emo's. Rock is real music.
-
If I'm correct, until yesterday, they had never scored a goal in the World Cup...Ever? Uhh ya... 1st. Argentina 2nd. Italy 3rd. Czech 4th. Brazil USA is no-where to be found :(
-
Well, I'm not the biggest soccer fan and all. I don't know too much about Internation Tournaments. I know the US did so-so in the friendlies. Coming into this, I thought their pool. Oh, the Czech, ahh, that's an auto-win. Ghana, simple Italy, could be a loss So we are looking at 2-1 and in the actual single elimination tournament. But, the US lost an absolute laugher to the Czech Republic 3-0 yesterday. Is the United States really the team to beat in International Sports. Think back to the games in Athens in 2004. The US Basketball team almost related to the "Dream Team" of the 1990? Olympics. They came in 6th. A notable loss being to Argentina. Hockey in the past olympics, they stunk. And the United States after being so dominant in the sports world seemed to only win Snowboarding events in this past years olympics at Turin (Torino), Italy. So, is the United States being cocky in all these events, or are they just getting worse?

Sometimes in the playoffs, winning a series or a game can be the difference of home-field advantage. So the question is, what stadiums do you think are the most defening, the stadiums that visiting players dread? NHL=Calgary Flames (Saddledome) NFL=Oakland Raiders (McAfee Coliseum?) MLB=New York Yankees (Yankee Stadium) NBA=San Antonio Spurs (SBC Center?) I don't know much about NBA but I took my best guess. And I'm not sure if there is a "defening" stadium in baseball. But what do you guys think? In the NHL, Calgary is alllllways a sea of red jerseys. In NFL, Raiders fans wear the chains and paint themselves black and silver, so that's pretty scary.

*Plays Brass Bonanza in Backround* Now, I'm from Connecticut, but I'm still a Whalers Faithful  . So my favorite team is the Canes. Although, Edmonton will come back and win it. They did it once already after being down 2-0  . I think that "fluke" game winning goal in game 3 will be the momentum changer. Anybody think that Edmonton [fans] were loud on Friday? It was like a sea of white.

Kane's face scares me. He's that ugly.
