You realize that we only 'tied' Italy because of Cristian Zaccardo's own goal? I could say that the US is playing like crap, but that would be an insult to crap. I was just at the Red Sox game actually last night, and it was a fantastic day. They said it was going to storm but it turned out great. At the beginning it was a bit warm at 89 degrees Farenheight I believe (bleacher seats ftl! HOT AS HELL in the sun). Then as the night went on, we got some breezes and the game ended around 55-70. So nice night.

I am a hard-core Hartford Whalers fan, but they moved to Raleigh, so I'm syked about the Stanley Cup Championship. Great to see Rod (Brind'Amour), one of our fav players in Hartford finally won a cup. Unfortuantely I was at the Red Sox game last night (Monday) and I got back in the car just to hear Gary Bettman make a speech. But I saw highlights on SportsCenter. PS. The Sox game was great. They beat the Nats 6-3.

6.8 seconds for 200 meters. :shock: Dang.... I did some quick math work.. (Converted Meters-->feet-->mile [for the US folks]) and got... A 55 second mile. WOWSERS! Lol.. And for Sports fans, at Fenway Park, you could run all the way out to the Fisk's Pole, touch it, and run back to home plate and that'd be 200 meters. 6.8 seconds. Typo? :-k :lol:

But it's not that a draw won't get you into the final 4, for more sports fans, it's mostly about hope. The fact that you have a CHANCE to get into the final 4, not that there's no chance at all. If a baseball team wins it's division with 40 wins and 142 losses, they have a chance to win the World Series, they may not, but at least the fans have something to hope for. So if the USA makes it to 32, we at least have more hope than we wouldn't have had without making it :) . But, believe it or not, maybe I do like soccer. I am definetly not a hard-core fan but I really enjoyed watching that game yesterday between Italy and the USA. Maybe I never really enjoyed Soccer because I didn't have a team :) . Plus this is a big scale nevertheless, but still, maybe I am starting to enjoy soccer and this flame-war can be over. :) PS...If i have a team to root for. In a baseball game, if I go to one and I don't have a team to root for, or against, I really cannot fully enjoy watching the game. :-k

That Italy USA game today... Were those refs on speed before the game or something? I dunno but that refs arm must be tired from reaching into his pocket to pull out red/yellow cards. lol

I am willing to bet you that if Runescape was real, we ran around with swords and armor, mined, etc... and used cheats (such as a "real life macro") that they would feel more guilty than on some cyber game where they don't know 99.9% of the population. But, you know, people use macros to make easy money. [-( . It's not right.

Maybe you guys just don't know how to play baseball in Europe. I don't know how to play cricket. EDIT: Actually I have an idea of how to play cricket I just don't know the game in-depth. Don't you hit the ball, run to the other side of the field, run back and if they hit the wickets thing then your out?
