But DoT doesnt always beat D from one hit. The way the combat system is set up, you could get lucky for 5 hits in a row and KO your opponant, which is why pkers want their str so much higher than their attack. Exactally, therefore the best thing to do is to max att and str out and not worry about it XD You are quite right, if your str is a considerable amount higher than your att then obviosly you will have the advantage since you can hit mich greater than sombody else at your level. Although remember that you can just as easily miss 5 times rather than hit, while a person with high att has a greater chance of their attacks connecting. There are advantages and dis-advantages for both. In PvP you want the best [bleep]e damage you can get, while in PvM you want damage over time. Since I hate PK, I go for damage over time.

Good idea :P i usually stick with legends cape due to the def, but +5 or 6 defense hasnt really saved anyones life now has it =) ill start doing it, lol.

You can have -50 magic bonus and still take down the melee brothers and karil, and dag king rex because they all have the worst mage def in the game (as far as i know). bottom line it is, it just doesnt matter for barrows/dag kings.

Nice find, i know for a fact ive hit her with range, but i never saw how (because i went with alot of people).

att and str are equal..kinda when im usually +3 att over my str, i hit high, alot. yet i see people, with drastically lower attack (75 sometimes) and they obliterate me due to their str being so high. so as much as i hate to admit it, str > att (although, i have made stats refletching off att > str)

one tip, for range pking, the power ammy isnt that much needed, but a holy symbol gives defense and prayer, so your range prayer lasts longer =) I get a few pks using the 2nd range prayer and defense prayer, so i get a nice boost and it lasts really long.

You might want to also add safe spots over the ladders. Weather they are there or not, you can mage/range over them. i use them if i cant use the other safe spots. Oh, and if needed i can post a picture of a query asking about the safe spots. For some reason i get people reporting me for bug abuse still today =\

There isn't a way to check how much people have finished every single quest... But there is a way to narrow it down. The hardest skill to get is 55 Herblore for Fairy Tale II: Cure A Queen. So at the very most, there are 58,669 people with a quest cape. I thought requirement was 57? or can you use like a pot or something to raise it? PS: I haven't done it yet because of that requirement. :XD: Actually, the absoulute lowest is 59 smithing, with a +6 boost from an evil dave stew, also, i belive they have a 60ish crafting for lunar diplomacy, but seeing as i did it the day it came out, i dont remember.

Slayer, con and agility Meh, i dont have a single skill thats 99 so i dont really care now. And most of them will be useless, since your 99, what new can you do. The only ones that would be of use are fishing, wcing, agility, and things that actually increase with levels. Smithing, construction, and farming capes will be simply for show. Although, i might try for a 99 mage cape if they come out with it :D

Id do 199 pyrefiends over non burthropeable 120+ dog assignments. I had 2 of them and it made me quit slayer for 2 months. Guess what, he stoped giving dogs ^.^

I might make my clan mates read this. Im experienced, but they arnt so much. Also, you might want to put a granite shield as an alternative to the crystal shield. G shields are easy to get, dont protect over much, and the range def is nice.

Thats how i got my firemaking and cooking on my pure, i got it for under 100k (50 fm and 70 cooking) Perhaps you can add on as you find other ways :P
