Errm, for Salarin the Twisted, you may want to test slayer's dart, since it would be much more effective than fire strike, and it still uses minds.

I was wondering, why cant you make smoke runes at the fire alter? You make them at the air alter which makes the process a tad slower, wouldnt it work at the fire alter?

after hitting 61, i dont see how people hit 99 x.X I may go for 70, and since the wilderness course is my favorite you might see me out there 8-) If anyone kills me ill be right back on em in 2 shakes of a tail

I know one thing, i wouldnt fight with anymore monsters. No more dieing and getting hurt to the brink of death for me :oops:

REALLY long story..but it has a lesson...and you get cookies! mabey not... Well, today started out like most days. I woke up, watched some tv until i was bored, then logged onto runescape. Upon noticing i was half way to slayer tower i remembered i had a aberrant specters task i was in need of finishing. As i made my way in, i checked to see what agility level you needed for the [bleep]e chain (i know its 61, but i like to remind myself). So i finish up the task, and say... Great day to train agility, eh? so, i start thinking about it, i realize im on lunar magics...bummer. No ardy teleport to get some cakes and lever out into the deep wilderness. Then i check all the teleports, and remember :idea: why not use the ice plateau teleport. It would put me right next to the wilderness arena and completely let me skip running by one of the most popular pking spots in runescape Then something hits me... all i have is monkfish, and sharks. But, ive been going for my big swordy, so natrually i have 800ish tuna. I make a fire with one of my many maples (which i need to burn...) and cook 4 loads of tuna. I grab the 3 astrials, laws, and 8 earths, and a full load of tunas, and tele out there. The teleport put me right next to a few ice worriors and they hit a few 7s on me right off the back. So when i get into the arena, i notice a 124 there. Oh great, a 1 itemer pker... He remains completely silent throughout my first few runs, then he goes for an attack right when i try to get on the log. I give him the -.- face and log out to eat. I come back, he is still there, and a lvl 79 has joined in. So we go on, with our revolutions, and he hits 54 agility. I give him a "grats :)" and we start talking. shortly after i hit 60 (so close to 61!) and we go on talking a bit as we do. Then what we feared happens, a lvl 118 pker ( :evil: ). He comes up, and blitz me, which is odd, because i was not skulled, and i did not have ANYTHING on (not even boots of lightness) so i just pray, and wait. Naturally, he runs up and specs me, but he lands a few low numbers seeing as i have prayer on. so i just keep going as if he wasnt there. Seeing that i was a lost cause, he kills the 79. So im starting to feel sad for the little guy, he was 3k from hitting 56 agility at the time. So the lvl 118 focus's on me yet again (im still praying, lol) i manage to get 3 laps around before he even kills me. So the little guy pms me, asking me if i died. I say "yeah, i think ill just world hop, wanna come?" And he said, "naw...i gotta go get my ectofile, i forgot i had it on me..." This is when it gets interesting. I decide to do what most people dont, stick up for the little people. I was tired of higher level pkers killing us for no reason. So i head to fally bank pming him "i think im gonna go out there and kill him" so i grabed the tele runes, some monk robes, str ammy, dds, rune gloves, a beserker helm, and some climbing boots. i get full sharks, and a whip in my invintory, so i tele out... i get to the actual arena and make it on the long steep cliff on my first try, and just as i open the gate i see the 118 making his way up the rock climb ( :twisted: revenge! ) so i set on my super str and attack prayers, and dds spec him. I hit him 2 times, then he gets into the pipe, so i run down and end him with a final spec ( :twisted: fuhahha! ) with "this is from *insert little mans name here*" So i check the loot, a dds, mystic peices, power ammy, and 20 ice blitz's. Hmm, good deal. So i go back and head to mage bank to bank my newly pked items, and i see "the little guy" in the bank ready-ing for another trip. I show him the loot and he explodes with excitement, so happy he can continue to train the skill which currently captivates him most. So i ready myself as well, nothing on, and full tunas. We leave out, and i ask him to cut the webs (as i never carry anything) then we see him... the level 118 is back, with a dds... I tell him to run, because i know good and well who he is after (me -.- joy ) So i natrually flip on the prayer as soon as my new friend made it inside, and i run in as well. The 118 came in "loved the prayer, noob, come back out and face me like a man!" At this point, i was asking myself, "is this gonna be worth it, or a waste of sharks?" Then i had a flashback! ***he had lobsters back at the wildy course!*** So i get my real pking gear on (rune, beserker, whip, and such). I head outside, and he skulls on me (no harm there). Then i noticed he is ranging...so im guessing he must be 95ish range, at his combat. so i pot up, get my prayer set, then i attack him. 4 dds specs, to no real damage (mabey 60ish, but he healed it right up) then the magic came. 29, 29 *redbarred, so he eats* 16 Dead, again. Im standing there amazed...i just 3 hit a 118... Once again, my new friend exploded with happiness, now he can for sure train without much of a threat! I grab his loot, and noticed how i killed him so fast *lobsters -.- heh* we tele inside and i show him the loot. then i took out, everything but the blackdragonhide. He mentioned earlier he was 69 range, so i wanted him to have some for when he hit 70. We geared up, and went on training agility. He hit 56 for regicide, and i hit 61 for the [bleep]e chain, without a sign of a pker :) today really was a great day to train agility, a new friend, a new enemie, and a few pk's :D Just wanted to share that story, you should always stick up for your own "little man"

Id love to come join up, but ive had friends loose some guthans peices there, and i find veracs is more, errm, usefull (mabey not the right word) to me anyway. When i did run trips i outlasted anyone in guthans with veracs prayer bonus =\ But once i get cable internet back i might barrow for some guthans and try to join.

My personal exprience is great, my longest dry streak was the 47 runs in the begining. From what ive seen, if you get a 21-42 ish killcount, you tend to get an item or two every 6-10 trips. By all means its random, but this helps me. Oh, and just to get this out there, But in no way does getting a killcount over 6 LOWER the chances of getting one, it simply states if you killed the 6 brothers, your chances are greatened (not -est) ive had people argue with me over this alot, so i thought id just get it out there

Oo i remember seeing this somewhere, mabey on the official forums, i didnt care to read it =\ Im to lazy to use a superrestore if things dont go the way i wanted em to.

I was in full mith, with a rune scimmy, and a defense ammy, i did it at around level 35 with full stews (i couldnt cook lobs and my friend didnt wanna fish them for me) I made it with 20 hp left after i got away from the lessers :P

that ended fast, its supposed to be continued tomarrow, so we can get more people, and rahk, we ended up doing as you said anyway x.x we ended up getting 4 kills, and i went in and soloed the mole i poisoned for another drop (15 bloods guys) it was fun, while it lasted

id say onyx neclace, ive only seen it once, on someone randomly. I wouldnt say granite legs because i had 4 of them at one time right when they came out x.x a merchant died and didnt respond to my pms so i sold em and went back to barrows

hmm, it would have to be supreme and rex. supreme because he looks awsome and i got 2 seerculls and a ranger ring (but he also has slaughtered 2 of my friends on 3 different ocasions, and killed me while getting their spears for them :() and rex, because i made 15 mil off of him in 3 days x.X

If your lacking on defense you can always use veracs, awsome defense and a slightly lower prayer bonus, other than that i use the same thing except i focus on my slash attack with my whip more, so i stick to a worrior helm and ring.

The graphics are quite crap to be honest. Horrible textures [e.g. floor], no shadows (LOL), and look at all the jaggys! [ no anti-aliasing ] your correct, but its *free* not to many games are that good and free you know
