I'm not complaining about the detention, its a silly rule that's not enforced though, and this teacher hadn't even given me a warning before. (and the detention is on the last week of school) And as I wrote, the dean that called me down doesn't even care about that rule. I'm surprised no one responded to how she wrote "listening in class" as the referral reason. :-k As for the drinking, it was being passed around, and by the time I took it I was tired of their bad wagon attitude so I decided to drink it down. It was watered down and didn't even give me the chills. :roll: Though, being the last weeks of school and knowing I wouldn't reach my limit, I didn't really care. My parents know I drink, they ussualy give me it, and they know i've had way more than 1/3 of a bottle of twice watered down vodka. Some people are seeing me as a hooligan, though I'm not, or I wouldn't be in all honors now.

Its my first serious one, and first in highschool. my only other one was a silly lunch detention for having 5 tardies, combined from 3 classes, in junior high. I've been showing everyone this slip, even my teachers. It's bringing a good laugh, seriously, "Listening in class" ?! See, she's the third teacher to say anything to me about it the whole year, one of them I don't blame because it was an empty hallway during a half period passing period (for lunch/homeroom). All the other teachers could care less if we're listening to music, we're not creating a threat or disturbing anyone. Also, I was listening to good ol' Jim Morrison, and when I got my mp3 player back, I was 9 songs ahead :-s

If you can't reed the reason it says "Listening in class" [hide= The Story] There's 1 week of school left and then finals, the whole year I would listen to my mp3 player in the hallway from 1st-2nd period, it takes a full 7 minutes to get there so it's worth the time. Our school has a no mp3 player rule, but poorly enforced only by the teachers who are like "female dogs". Every time I've been warned I kept a mental note of which teachers to hide from in the halls (2 of them). This time I got stopped by this teacher, Kocim. She is rumoured to give out detentions to students who don't call her "Dr. Kocim" because she has a doctorate's degree (yet only a teacher, therefor the "female dog" ish attitude) She confiscated my mp3 player and took my name and told me it would by at the Dean's office. 6th period I get a white note to go down to the dean's. (I was a tad afraid because I had cranberryjuice + vodka during lunch) But it was only the mp3 player thing. I ended up getting a detention from a dean I pass everyday with my headphones on. Though, the chance that it was a false report exists, though only slightly. [hide=Silliness] I'd say 100% of living people drink in some way, shape, or form. :lol: [/hide] I don't think there should be a drinking age, but instead a public drinking age. That way, private drinking in someone's home would be acceptable. I drink, though only with meals, and rarely to party. Even with my short stature and low body weight, I have yet to get a buzz. My view: I'll do it with freinds, as long as I'm confident I won't get caught, and I'll drink anything my parents give me. Parent's view: They just want to know if I do amd when. Freinds: No one cares strongly in either direction. I'm not confident about it, but I'm pretty sure theres a moderate ~16-18 drinking age in lithuania, but no one cares. During a visit last summer at 13, my grandparents let me drink in their apartment, and waiters served me beer in restaurants.
