  1. Nice stuff buddy! Very balanced skills and some good lvls in there. Personally I'd like to see one or two 90+ skills and maybe even a 99 so I can plague you with emote pl0x requests :D Though having said that, 85 slayer is worth more than some of the easier 99's IMO so g'luck with that. Overall I'll rate 8.5/10 for skills. Your bank is pretty reasonable, especially for someone who invests a lot in skilling. You've got all the armour that you need but you are a bit light on cash right now, it'd be good to see you getting back up over 10mil and maybe even picking up a rare. I'll go 7/10 for your bank since I know you can improve it a lot! In terms of your goals, once you've got 85 slayer as you say that'll put a few of your combat stats into the 90s so I would suggest either going for 80+ in all skills and maintaing your Guthix skiller approach or maybe picking your favourite and pushing on to 99 with that one.
  2. a) That's 110% B) raw goods don't bring GP into the game unless they are sold to a shop or alched.
  3. a) Put some effort into your post 2 lines followed by "discuss" is not topic worthy B) Put some thought into your post e.g. "Will this generate conversation/debate/interest?" c) High Alch, Monster Drops and of a smaller impact selling items to stores. d) "discussion" closed? [/rant]
  4. Heh heh, think that goal might need to wait a while! Nice level and rank, the rc'ing cape rocks. BUT... did you solo it all the way?
  5. thats true, thats pretty annoying  "omg, blood craft pl0x!" they are already aware that rangers is underpowered... why oh hell would they upgrade mages with free ammunition? even if there would be a rune crafting update, i am pretty confident that soul crafting will come first... Err why? Given that bloods are at level 77 and souls at level 90 it would seem far more logical to release bloods first. Also there is actually a market for bloods, personally I suspect that before soul crafting is released more spells will appear that actually use them.
  6. Good luck to both of you! One question though... Why would you need donations to level hunter??
  7. It's dravid! But thanks, nice to know you're following our progress and it is indeed getting quite close now: ^ Whilst I have been working pretty hard to catch up, I also know that Saidin has been somewhat busy IRL! I'm sure Saidinwot would agree that "the more the merrier" I'll double-check before updating the thread. Having seen the speed that you craft at though Uular I hope you've got a vacation planned soon! :D
  8. Nope f2p for life now that he has 17 herblore.... Did you even look at the pics? On topic: Very nice stats for 3 weeks.
  9. :D Paradox much? It's pretty close, but I'm going for 6/10 account on the left, 7/10 account on the right. This is based upon the assumption that you are both f2p - therefore experience is harder to gain so that was the deciding factor in the end. Keep it up
  10. Reasonable bank for your stats 8/10. Stats are nice and generally rounded, and like the 99's... 9/10 10/10 for an insanely large wardrobe of costumes lol (you must be female!!)
  11. Fair enough it is just a theory, I would however argue that it is not even close to a good theory. The author took an idea that he would like to see happen and added a load of spurious justifications and analogies as to how A=B. Here's another equally insane idea.. Red Cabbage actually = Dragon Pickaxe, yep that's right! Can't believe no-one noticed it... Aubury will sell this to make mining pure essence that much easier. With the 4 new spells you will be able to cast magic on tin ores and turn them into rune, only mineable if you have Aubury's special dragon pick... If people "just accepted" things without applying thought we'd probably all still think the world was flat. Oh, and Jagex hardly need subtle hints - there were plenty of not-so-subtle rants on the RSOF when bloods weren't the runecrafting update in March
  12. Good Grief! It was an april fools, that's it. No hidden meanings, nothing. Additionally whoever stated that 2014 was the 12th April backwards if you replace "0" with "/", using the US date system that would give 41/2 -or the 2nd of the 41st month. Using the UK date system that would give 41/2 meaning the 41st of February... Red Cabbage = Blood Runes <---- nearly sig worthy :P
  13. Don't mind it too much, but then again I actually enjoy runecrafting which apparently makes me weird anyway :D Agility is one of those skills that personally I have to be in the mood to do though. I usually train in the wildy course as this helps to maintain focus!
  14. Hey Saidin, nice to see you've come back to your blog! I'm enjoying our race so far and looking forward to claiming that final ess off you  G'luck buddy. Mord
  15. Lakitsym your whole premise seems to be "well I didn't force them into the wildy, they chose to go, and there are signs warning them". Actually, they didn't 'choose' to go there they were enticed there under false pretenses - normally with the intention of buying something. That is entirely different from the dangers of entering the wildy with the intention of pk'ing. In the latter example a player does opt to enter the wilderness, with the knowledge that they may be killed in doing so. Therefore they dress accordingly and take what the judge that they can afford to lose, along with suitable means to defend themselves. A player mistakenly entering the wilderness with the intention to buy something (usually expensive) is unlikely to be prepared to fight back, and is likely to be carrying items that they would never take into the wildy knowingly (e.g. cash/rares etc.) Therefore it's a con or a scam and should have been outlawed a long time ago. My sole concession to the above statement is that admittedly it is difficult to police. The argument that if a player is dumb enough to fall for a lure that's his/her problem and that's just the way of the world is very much akin to the sort of justifications that real life criminals provide to explain their failings of morality - and doesn't make these real life examples any less illegal. Like it or not Runescape is an online society and any society lacking some form of regulation is likely to disintegrate to the point of anarchy. Personally I play this game to relax. I don't want to spend my entire time concentrating to avoid the possibility of being cheated out of items/cash that I worked hard to obtain.
  16. Nope this thread's not been abandoned! Levels just seem to take a wee while nowadays :P Still 1 week on from 85 and here's the next milestone: Hot on your heels Saidinwot!!
  17. I'd argue that blood/soul runecrafting will almost certainly come out as a quest, in the same way that deaths did. The ability to make the runes would not be a quest requirement - you don't need 65 runecrafting to complete ME2. I'll reserve judgement until the "help with chaos crafting" is revealed, but personally I'm disappointed it's not blood runes...
  18. More stupid? On topic: I would suggest cutting your losses with the Wizard K account it is extremely unlikely that you will get any further with ban appeals once the final appeal has been rejected.
  19. 8/10 for bank and stats good stuff. a dismal 2/10 for your outfit in the pic though - that's hideous lol.
  20. Yep you can. But, rather than dropping them have you considered building a wardrobe in your house and storing them in there?
  21. I think what you're asking here is what to wear when fighting the sara/zammy mages that appear when you dig for treasure on a trail(?) If so, what I usually wear is full black d hide, glory, dds, anti-drag shield, ring of life, boots of lightness and legends cape. When the mage appears pray melee - that way you don't get poisoned. I take about 2 or 3 sharks just in case. Most of the reason that I wear the above is so I don't have to change what I'm wearing when the clue takes you to wildy. I also take tele runes for most locations to speed up getting to the next clue and a super set to make killing things quicker.
  22. you get 1x the xp always. Doesn't matter how many runes you can craft.
