  1. Make sure your motherboard supports it, as was said earlier.
  2. No, if by any chance you could possibly stretch your budget that extra 90 bucks, uou have to do it. Pentium D's eat up power and run super hot, and C2D's are far!!! better processors. Pent D's are essential garbage if you can have any chance of getting that e6300.
  3. It's inevitable to plateau. You'll still notice gains, but after the first little while, the gains will slow down.
  4. News to me. :o Agreed, I was pretty sure you were female.
  5. Ohhhhhhhh. By "too skinny for a girl", I thought you meant "too skinny for this girl you like", not "too skinny as girls go".
  6. One of my thoughts directly after watching that was that it really has to meet your sense of humor perfectly in order to fully enjoy it, as I did. And at SoaP. It's better in theatres ;).
  7. Guys, you can't just work out and think you'll gain weight. Muscle doesn't just grow out of nothing. You have to eat lots of high protein foods, and if possible, have them low in bad fats. (example: eat lean chicken or fish, not a hamburger). Also, it's a common misconception that fat turns into muscle when working out. But people do have the right idea. You NEED some fat for every day processes obviously, but it's also good to have a little extra fat on the bones. This way, when your body needs energy, it will start taking energy from the fat, rather than if you have no fat, it would take away from you're muscle. And, work out. Just don't forget your diet, eat a lot.
  8. Same. Minus being good at it.
  9. 31 seconds :\. Kind of fun :).
  10. Wow, that was kind of dirty.
  11. Sleep-6-7 hours School Preperations-1 hour School+travel-7 hours Procrastinating-2 hours Homework-1 hour Eating-Half-Hour Homework-2 hours Shower-Half Hour Homework 1-2 hours (depending on amount) Internet Browsing- 0-1 hours Those are the days when I don't work. On days when I work, it's essentially the same until the end of school, then we have homework (4-5 hours), then as much homework as I can possibly do in 1-3 hours.

I'd rather watch a movie knowing it was factually correct than one that has been completely taken out of context and acted by young hollywood men that probably have never learnt about the battle. Just a thought. Then I'm sure there are dozens of documentaries you can watch.

My way of saying it was better.
  14. Little Miss Sunshine - Wow! This may be one of the best comedies I've ever seen. So clever, so real, but at the same time so outlandish that it makes it even more fun to watch. The actors play the characters so well, and you can see little bits of people you know in the characters on screen, if you follow. It's so awkward and darkly humorous, but is essentially a feel-good comedy. It's really funny, and even though you may find more big laughs in a Will Ferrell movie, I can tell you he has never done anything of this quality. You'll smile the whole way through, and laugh hysterically often. I've decided I don't really like those stupid mainstreamy comedies anymore. This has gained a lot of hype, so has sort of worked it's way into the peripheral vision of the mainstream, but remains it's charm as it was made so under the radar. Easily the years best comedy.

Guys, you do realise it's based on a graphic novel, which is based off of a movie, which is based off of a story that has likely been changed with time anyways? It's a MOVIE, and one of the most promising looking movies of next year. It will be the kind of movie you go in and you say "Yeah, this rocks". Not, "The Persians didn't have people that had 2 swords for arms, the people that make this film are stupid!". Yes, I know the story of Thermopylae (because that's how it's actually spelled), and yes, it's a very intriguing story, but that's not what they are going for. They are going for a completely original , action packed take on it, with an awesome visual style. And I'm super excited. Also, to those who have asked - It comes out in March.
  16. I think it -was- Homework Club. And I'm pretty sure they both are banned.
  17. I remember scapeboard clearly, there were so many accounts then, but somehow not as much spam. Like, thousands of accounts with <10 posts, making it look like our forum was huge. Now there are a lot of new people, and a lot more pointless spam. However, everything looks better when you look back on it; you'd be kidding yourself to say we didn't have a lot of loserish posts on scapeboard.
  18. I watched World Trade Centre. It was quite mediocre. One thing that was annoying is that it wasn't engaging enough to keep me awake. And it seemed like it new that. So they'd be underground for 10 minutes, then the action would come and some rocks would fall on them and that would wake me up. And that happened bout 3 times it a row. It also really didn't bring up any rememberances of 9/11. None of the people in the movie seemed all that concerned at the time IMO, even the police which really got me confused. It was OK, but United 93 was about 10 times better.
  19. I'm building a new computer in early February. E6600, 2Gb RAM, 8800GTS...*drool*
  20. I didn't hear about this, can you give a link?
  21. I started collecting DVD's, but then I realised I had all that I wanted, and that any future buys would be...Just to have them, not because I really wanted them. So I made the wise decision to stop, and now I've saved a lot of money. My CD collection is very small, but of a high quality. What I really collect, though, are PC games...I really love trying to track down hard to find games that were unpopular and are out of print. I spent $130 and weeks of research to find one particular game, and I don't regret it a bit. I also get a rush when I find a game I've been looking for for months/years at the bottom of a bargain bin, and for less than $10. Right now, I'd probably estimate my total amount spent at several thousand, increasing every month. There are still a few that are driving me insane, ones I can't find at ebay but have seen places and made mistakes by not buying. I will have them one day, though.
  22. Finally got to watch some movies (I don't have any time during the week now with homework, and I work most Friday's and Saturday nights). I got off work at 8, so I watched 2 movies after that (ended up going to bed at 5am ;). First was Pirates 2...I can't believe this is so popular. The first movie was pretty entertaining; a fun kind of movie. I would say that this movie didn't even near average status, it just wasn't good. I'm not sure what it was...Perhaps a poorly written story with a considerable amount of bad dialogue, annoying characters and the fact that there really was no advancement at all of Bloom and Knightley's characters and relationship. It was 2:30hours long and I have no idea where it went. The only redeeming features were pretty neat CGI, nice settings and some pretty funny action sequences and physical comedy. Overall I would say that it managed to make the original worse, which is never a good thing. Second I watched You, Me and Dupree. I would deem this an average comedy, one I couldn't possible recommend, but also one I couldn't tell you NOT to watch given the chance. It's never painfully boring or unfunny, it's just not that entertaining either. Pretty funny ending though.
  23. But can you seriously say any of those are going to go down as classics that will be remembered in 40 years? Because 1968 certainly has a few (2001: A Space Odyseey, Once Upon a Time in the West). 2005 was actually a really good year imo, but 2006 hasn't really had anything worth leaving the house for (DVD rentals for me, mostly).
  24. I'm not sure, but I thought search entries might be stored in temporary internet files...So if you're using IE, you can go to options and delete temporary internet files...If that doesn't work, try deleting cookies. However, these will take away any current log-ins you have, any "remember my password" types of things and the like. So consider that before doing that. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what would.
  25. Good: Insane Clown Posse...Good because, I can't believe they actually made it into the mainstream, atleast for a time, with such a ridiculous name. And it's kind of funny the first few times you hear it. Bad: Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds. -Has absolutely no ring, is just their names (Simon and Garfunkle atleast is exceptable in length, and has a big of ring to it). -It doesn't even have a short form (example, Creedence Clearwater Revival - CCR) -I don't even know why the word "Joe" was put in. Also bad- "Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young", but unlike the former, it's all last names and atleast has a short forum (though a short form without a ring, either...See-see-are is so easy to say...See-ess-enn-why is kind of tricky)
