What movie(s) did you last see?
I watched Punch-Drunk Love in part 2 of 2 of my "When comedians do drama". I quite enjoyed this movie. It was short and to the point, well shot and well put together. I enjoyed Adam Sandlers character, and he really carried this movie well. It was funny but not in the way of Billy Madison or such, and it was dramatic and a good romance movie aswell. I thought it was good, not sure which of the 2 I liked better.

Oblivion!
I think I ended up with about 50 hours on my main guy and 20 something on my other guy. I think I might have come in just below what I spent on San Andreas (which was about 80 in all). But it wasn't SO good of a game, once I got over the first few days, there was no need for me to rush home to play it. I just played when I had the time. It was overall a meh experience. But I might have been missing something, as I hadnt played Morrowind, and I wasn't really looking forward to Oblivion before buying it.

Jeopardy! (No, I am not a nerd)
It always is as though you think you'd win if you were there. But if you were there, bad luck always works against you, so one of the following would happen: A) Someone else would know all the answer to and answer first B) There'd be way harder/different questions that normal C) You'd choke and forget the answers

If they announce GTA4 for PC, and then I work all summer and make lots of money, upgrade my comp, then buy it, my life will be complete. Or as complete as I could ever hope for; it will be all downhill from there, until GTA5! The day they stop making GTA games will be the day I become a recluse and never talk to any other human being again.

Which Ps3 are you planing to get?
My support is behind PS3, but I'm a PC gamer and intend to stay that way, atleast unless they choose not to put next-gen GTA on PC. If not, I'll have a lot of thinking to do between either 360 or PS3. IF (and that's a gigantic IF,) then I would definately get the better one. What's 100 bucks, when the entire time you're playing, you'll be thinking, "someone is playing this exact same game, but on a better machine that I very well could have gotten." That would destroy me.

@Indy500fan: Are you just gonna keep that sig forever? I can't really see you without it, now. But if you can do that, and if/when they announce GTA4 for the PC, I think I'll change my sig to that, and leave it forever! HAHAHAHAHA  . Or maybe just blend it into my current, 1337 sig.

Microsoft dropped to an even lower low at there conference this year. After last years confusing and ultimately untrue statement that Halo 3 would co-incide with the release of PS3, they have once again made a big deal out of something again untrue. In their press conference today, they claimed that they had GTA4 coming exlusively to Xbox360. Immediately after seeing this, I knew something was wrong. It only took a few minutes to locate the Take-Two Press Release, in which it is indeed coming to PS3 on the very same day. You really think they'd get there facts straight (the guy even had Xbox360 ONLY tatood on his arm - completely rediculous). As for news, that's pretty big news. GTA4 (that's what it's called for now,) is coming to PS3 and 360 October 17, 2007. I would imagine that a PC game will come at one of the following times: A) Same day, they just haven't announced it yet (since clearly the Sony exclusive deal is no longer going on) B) Within a month or 2 of release (in which case it will be spent time porting it) C) 6 months after release (as per past examples) I can't imagine that they'd isolate over a million GTA gamers on the PC, the platform it began on. They have a guaranteed bank right there, and neither big console loses anything. If they don't bring GTA to the PC...I don't know what I'm gonna do, but it won't be nice. In fact, it will wreack havok upon the Earth. Be warned, Rockstar.

Warning: crazed lunacy below. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. All the info you ever wanted for PS3 is RIGHT HERE: PRICE DETAILS: NEW CONTROLLER: All info can be found here, including info on FF13 and a load of other Playstation games (they said something like there's going to be over 200 more PS2 titles coming before the end of the year...I'm not sure where I read that.) http://www.gamespot.com/news/6149470.html Some other cool things: A guy was playing an F1 game and using a PSP as his rear view mirror. And PSP and PS3 are gonna work well together...And they are emulating a lot of old Playstation games for buying/downloading/playing off of memory sticks for the PSP...He played Ridge Racer in the conference.

Peh, that's what they say about every game... But...Get ready for this... JADE EMPIRE GOING TO THE PC!!!!! http://www.gamespot.com/news/6149395.html WOAH, I wanted this game so much when it came to Xbox, and I resented my friend for coming to school each day and rubbing it in my face. Now I will have it? (I can't even believe it sold only 385 000 copies? That's rediculously low numbers for a game that was favourably reviewed by many: It scored a 9.9 on IGN, the third highest review ever, behind Soul Calibre and Ocarina of Time, a perfect 5 stars on gamespy, and a "great" 8.4 on gamespot. I'm REALLY excited now, it was so unexpected I had almost forgot about Jade Empire...Now I'm very happy, but still can't believe how few copies it sold. Oh well, I like the cult games ;) (thought that's actually not that low of sales...)

when do you do yoour home work
If I'm motivated (like, I really really want to watch a movie that night, or really want to see a show etc.) I'll either skip it, of if I have to do it, I'll try right when I get home. If I try that without any motivation, I normally end up procrastinating for atleast an hour, sometimes two (during my procrastinations once, I actually tried to give a relatively accurate approximation of how much time I had spent procrasting this year...It's somewhere in the low-3-digits...Really a waste.)

Common Questions Parents ask...
I have zero experience with this whatsoever. I have no idea what a parent would ask their sons girlfriend (I don't see why I would... :? ). Let me just say: try to make a conversation that goes somewhere. Small talk will be the downfall of humanity. It's awkward, and no person should have to go through with it for more than 30 seconds. Any time I'm going somewhere where I know I will have to partake in small-talk, I feel a great sence of dread. If they ask you something general, try to parlay it back at them and get a conversation started. It makes things go much easier and breaks down social barriars. Unfortunately, this is only good in theory, as is all adivce given here. How something goes depends on the place and moment, things will happen you can't prepare for.

Best Book I've Ever Read
My local book store isn't very comprehensive, so I've been there several time to try to get some books I've wanted (1984, Animal Farm were the ones I went for, now maybe I should get Ender's Game since everyones suggesting it). Of the books I've read, which is extremely limited, my favs were Dune, A Clockwork Orange, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Funny thing is for Dune, I didn't even know it was like, rediculously popular when I read it. I found an old copy that hadn't been read in atleast like 15 years at my cottage, and I just started reading. All those books were very good. I'd def suggest One Flew to those who have seen the movie, as not only does it expand on the book, it also has a completely different point of view and thus really builds the character of Chief. IMO, it really complements the movie very nicely.

Yeah, that looks REALLY good. Especially, the character models. The skin like moves, and the animations are so smooth. It's like playing in a high budget movie. And Spore will most likely be PC only, atleast for now. Sadly, it's going on 360 aswell. I'm pretty sure though, that it's a port. But if you guys have seen the videos, it really does look Doom 3ish, but really wild, with all the mirrors and anti-grav. Personally I don't think it's going to be like, the best game ever, but I bet it will still be a good amount of fun. Cell Factor, on the other hand...

The Electronic Entertainment Expo is this week! For those of you who don't know, it's only the biggest game expo of the year, when all the big developers release all their biggest announcements. I'm kinda surprised there's no topic about this already, it's a pretty big deal. The big three consoles (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, duh) have their conferences, and many big announcements will come before the expo even starts. The conferences will be tommorow, and you will be able to watch live or recorded over at gamespot.com While we're on that, I'd suggest looking at gamespy.com, gamespot.com, and IGN.com often for your biggest news updates. Gamespot is pretty good for videos and features, while I prefer IGN and gamespot for my game announcements and news, as they are better organized and easier to understand. There are some tremendous announcements coming this E3. Expect a lot more info on the upcoming releases of PS3 and Wii, and many, many surprise game announcements that are sure to come. Also, expect to see more 360 announcements, and some jaw-dropping next-gen graphic capabilites. While we're on that, take a look at some great next-gen games, that I'm stunned by what they can do now. Here's some PC games I'm personally looking forward too: Cell Factor  THIS WILL BLOW YOU AWAY AND MELT YOUR 360! (therefore, buy a good PC :) ) http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=9958&type=mov&pl=game Expected Release date Q4 2007 (most likely that means some time in 2008) Crysis  http://pc.ign.com/articles/705/705150p1.html Expected Release Date: Late 2006/Early 2007 Spore (VERY LONG VIDEO, if you want to watch, you might want to fast forward thru some parts: an incredible part happens at approx 13-14 minutes in) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8372603330420559198&q=spore Prey http://pc.ign.com/articles/685/685815p1.html Expected Release Date: Summer 2006 On an unrelated note, here are all the crazy new PC games coming out with next-gen graphics: http://www.gamespot.com/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=24145969 If someone else wants to post some stuff coming for 360, PS3 or Wii, this would be the place. E3 officially opens it's doors May 9 and will run to May 12. Expect lots of info coming before and after (and during :P ) on all your favorite games!

What movie(s) did you last see?
I watched Fun With [bleep] and Jane. I know, I know, I know, this isn't gonna win any awards, but I enjoyed it. The timing was right (I had a pretty bad day, and I was tired by the time I watched it, and I laugh more when tired). I had a good time, even though I didn't find it to be that funny. But I supposed having a good time is what it's about, eh? I can't wait til I get my own place, and can watch more movies later at night, I seem to enjoy watching movies more late at night. And here at home, I could easily watch them on my PC, or in my other DVD player in my computer room, but it's noisier in here, less comfortable, and I don't have the like Surround Sound thing going on.

What movie(s) did you last see?
i might bump up the "what movies have you seen from the imdb top 250" topic, if i can find it  . i havent seen 6 of them, but i am watching sunset boulevard right now so im only missing 5. just out of curiosity, which ones dont you want to see? Well...Actually I can only see one or two that aren't on my too-see list, which is already about 50 movies long: Der Undertang (mostly because this wouldn't be at Blockbuster or on TV, so I'll probably never see it,) Spirited Away (Its not that I don't want to see it, it's just not a high priority). That's about it, but I won't be able to get The Third Man (not available on DVD in my area, aparently), may be able to catch Lawrence of Arabia on TV, tho I've been checking TV guide for about a year (dig this: Spartacus has only been TV once in the past year, and I missed it by accident...But it was on in French another time). That's about it.
