But still $50 more than what I paid for my full set...

The ESRB
I personally don't care about them, probably because I look close to 18, despite being 15. I mean, I can pretty much walk into any games' store and buy any M game. Being 6'2" is awesome. Yeah though, I just think that the ratings are useless. They aren't really going to stop anyone from getting the game, as proved by the amount of 12 year-olds on Halo 3. No real hate on the fact that their 12, but the stereotype that certain individuals have given me.

Fallout 3
What exactly does the limited edition (AKA Survival Edition?) have extra, and what is the price difference? I'm always willing to spend an extra $10 for limited editions of games.

Man Sues Red Bull because "It doesn't give you wings".
So you think there's a chance of a possibility, and it's dependent on your family history. That definitely makes it seem likely. Besides, Red Bull may say "It gives you wings", but that is always followed by "Well actually it helps to restore mental alertness and wakefulness". Therefore, he has nothing against them. It's like he's suing for the sake of suing. He should be charged under harassment for that.

Xbox 360 Halo 3 Game Night - Discontinued
I've pretty much realized that this would have been a good idea if there was a bigger fanbase for Halo 3 on these forums. Unfortunately there isn't. Just let this thread die. A mod can lock it if he/she wants, but I'll leave it up to the regular users not to bump it. No more posting, okay?

the playstation 4, super wii and xbox 720
I definitely hope that PC gaming is coming back. I'm considering buying a wired 360 controller just so I can use it for PC games. I know I've said before that I don't like PC gaming, but really, it is way better. I will need a better computer though...

I say Saturday at the time the Game Night would have been. Or a bit earlier at 2 p.m. Eastern. I'm not going to continue with the Game Night, just let that thread die.

The next generation definitely won't be out for another couple of years. I also don't think anyone can say who will win the next console war, if anything I'd say Nintendo again because of all the revenue they are getting from their massive console sales. That or Microsoft/PS pull off something amazing. Actually, let me say that differently. The only way that a console will win the next generation is if it manages truly 3-dimensional technology. I'm not talking about holograms, I'm think the whole headset + Wii-mote like setup. That doesn't mean that Nintendo is one step closer, I'd say they are the farthest from the level of graphics needed to replicate truly 3-D environments with headsets. Any console that doesn't have graphics that rival real life won't be the next generation. This provides an even greater technology block. Not only do we need better consoles, but also better screens. Really, all I need to make my ideal "next-generation console" is the ability to emulate these games on a PC. Basically, I get very powerful PC, install software on it that allows the computer to read gaming DVD's, and then I just hook it up to a TV. This is probably the way M$ could win the next generation. Allow their console software to be sold. The only advantage of a console is the guarantee that a game will work, since it's been designed for that specific build of console.

The ESRB
I'd say that ESRB ratings are a joke. If anything, it just makes sure that I can't buy a game my parents don't want me to play, aka I buy a game without my parents knowing, they see me play it, don't like me playing it, I can't play it anymore and therefore waste my money. Although I think it should be considered a crime to let anyone under 13 play a game labeled "Mature" because then there won't be any of those annoying little kids on CoD4 and Halo 3. ESRB definitely isn't as big a joke as the Tipper Sticker (That parental advisory label on CD's) is. It can't stop anyone from buying a CD, all it is is a label. Most of the time, I'd say it just promotes a CD more, since it tells people there's profanity, and if you feel like pissing off your parents by blasting music, then it's a great buy. Other than that, the Tipper is just a failed attempt by government house wives to restrict freedom of speech.

Okay, so we have 3/4, I'm kind of hesitant about who we should have as fourth. Also, are we going to be going by the SGP thread for this, or just whoever we can get together?

Fallout 3
Never played the game, but the E3 showing of it sold it for me. I think it looks great, I like the way gameplay seems to go, and it reminds me of Bioshock in terms of humour.

Xbox360, wich one?
I think i am missing something...instead of buying bigger harddrive can't u buy a bloody memory card? If you never plan on downloading anything. Which is near impossible. For instance, if you get Halo 3 + Xbox Live, saving game and Map variants will chew through that 512. I think I have about 1GB taken up from Game Saves and DLC, which I have very little of. 7 Halo maps, 7 GH3 songs, and 4 Rock Band songs. I also have Fable full game, which is another 1GB atleast, demos which take up about 4-8GB, music which I think might be around 500MB, and then just miscellaneous things that make up for the last bit of my saved content.

The Ultimate rivalry! Sony vs. Nintendo!
I hate to be back at it with you, since I've realized you actually know your stuff as far as facts go, but as far as opinions go, you are completely anti-Microsoft. On the first point, about Nintendo putting crap in a video game case and selling it, I personally think that they already do and have done that. For instance, the Wiimote. A very good idea, but improperly implemented. It is just way too inconsistent to make it worth my time for buying the Wii. I can have stunningly accurate responses one moment, and then the next the damn thing won't even respond. And this is with two different placements on the sensor. I'm also fairly certain that they've milked the Mario and Pokemon series to crap. The Pokemon series is wonderful because of the strategy, but you may as well just release packs of Pokemon instead of entire new games. Seriously, I don't think any of the people who play Pokemon seriously even like the story part of it, they just play it because they like the strategy aspect. Then there's Mario, that wonderful series, whose games will always be bought. I can't think of a Mario game and think of fun, unless I've actually heard about it. And Microsoft can put crap in a case and sell it like ten dollar bills for a dollar - see Vista - but that doesn't mean that their games are good. I would leave you to your opinion of Halo, but you do realize Halo will probably still exist, even if new games involved in the Halo Universe weren't being released? C'mon, MLG will definitely be around, and a know a few people that still play Halo:CE on their computer. Thousands still play Halo 2, and millions play Halo 3 now. Also, it's funny how you said in 7 years. Even just that makes me think that Halo will still be around then. But of course you won't get that joke/reference, because you have no clue about Halo and Bungie. I'd also say that Mario only exists today because Nintendo refuses to put the franchise to rest. They've milked it dry, as far as I can tell. There are some amazing games in the franchise, probably some of the best games there are, but most of them were earlier on in the series. The Chief isn't the God of Microsoft, there is none. He is just a symbol. Much like Mario and Zelda are ones for Nintendo, and Cloud and Solid Snake are for PSX. I think I said this in the argument we had earlier, the only reason I chose the Xbox 360 over any of the other consoles was because of Xbox Live. Each console is even, except for the fact that most of my friends have an Xbox 360 with Xbox Live. I am personally more of a fan of Nintendo for their past work, however I don't really like the Wii. Here's how I break down the three consoles. The Nintendo Wii is a console with great games, but the controls are sub standard, and developers can't do much with the console in terms of graphics and game's engines compared to the PS3 or 360, and this makes the console average. Online being free makes it just above average. The Xbox 360 has average games as far as I'm concerned, and I consider the controller very good. Online is very good, and makes the console just above average because you pay for online. Then there's the PS3. Developers can do a ton of stuff with this console. They can probably do so much that another PSX console will be released before the PS3's full potential is realized. The controller is featherlight and runs on an internal rechargeable battery. By far the best controller I've used, except for the thumb stick layout, which I hate at the moment. Online is decent, and free. If you go by these aspects, then the PS3 is way ahead of the competition. The only problem is that the kinds of games the PS3 has doesn't really match what I like to play. I'm not too much of a fan of RPG's, or games with massive cut scenes, or racing games. This puts the console again, just above the average of what I'd have expected from this generation of consoles. Then there's friends. One of my friends have a PS3. Three have a Wii. Over twenty have an Xbox 360. I think this is a good reason for me to choose the 360. Not because I'm a fan of Microsoft, or Bungie, or Halo, but because nearly all of my friends have one (Of those 4 friends who own a different console, 3 own a 360 as well), and that lets me play with them, without the need to go to their house (Although playing split screen is much more enjoyable for me) and get used to a different controller. Right now actually, I want a PS3. I can see a lot of my friends getting one if they had the chance, I would take that chance if they did too. I like being able to play with my friends. That's the entire reason I buy a console, to PLAY. I am a fan of Nintendo, own a Xbox 360, want a PS3, love Halo, and think that is perfectly reasonable. I love how I can build a wall of text from 5 lines.
