Xbox 360 Halo 3 Game Night - Discontinued
Wait, if it's you three, then all the unskilled people, does that mean I'm on a team all by myself?. And since it's going to be only 6-8 people, I think that free-for-all would be better. Also, I get edgey when I play swords and will strike at any player I see, regardless of team.

I got offered a pretty amazing job, i'm lost though.
Everything I can suggest inolves talking to your girlfriend. Go do that right now, before you let any of us convince you.

Do you like to catch bugs and animals?
Oh, the memories. Summer up at the cottage everyday trying to catch anything that moves. Turtles, frogs, grasshoppers, dragonflies, fish (With a net, BTW), maybe even that elusive snake that would sunbathe on the rock. Also got a praying mantis once, and one of those walking stick things. Everytime I go up to my cottage now I usually catch something. Usually a frog, sometimes a snake, once even a catfish with my hands. My goal for next summer is a big ol' snapping turtle. Should be fun, if I don't lose a finger or two. Really though, catching stuff was my childhood. It was always "Hey, look at that snake, lets go catch it." Or "I bet you can't catch that seagull." Anyone ever managed to catch a seagull with a towel? That's another goal for next summer. Oh, and my cat catches a small bird or chipmunk close to every other day.

I'd say the best advice for getting Mosh 1 is whenever you have a break in the song, just try and roll your fingers as fast as you can from pinky to index. It helped me a ton, I get through Mosh 1 without SP, and think I even FC'd it once. Basically Mosh 1 is simple enough that you can practice the motion of it without needing a controller or the game, just a flat surface to roll your fingers against. You just need to get you hand used to that constant motion, and once you get that down, just slip in the movement from R-Y-B-O to G-R-Y-B and back.

Xbox 360 Halo 3 Game Night - Discontinued
I think that a a Swords game would be a pretty good idea since now we have 6 people garunteed to play. The only question is whether to play a custom varient, or one of the standard maps. I'm in favour of regular Snowbound, it's my favourite map for Swords. I also want grenades to be allowed, I think it is a good part of a Swords game type.

Xbox 360 Halo 3 Game Night - Discontinued
Since we only have 4 people that are absolutely confirmed, is everyone fine with doing campaign? Doubt we'd be able to get through the whole thing, since I know limp would only be able to play for a couple hours, but we could either pair off and go for the highest score, fastest time, or go as a group of 4 and maybe just help whoever still needs it get achievements. Or there's always matchmaking. There's also another thing I want to ask. I'm considering whether or not we should allow guests (Not as in on the same Xbox, I'll allow those guests anyways) to join in. I'm not too sure about it since I think it might end up turning this into just a regular game. And yes Bluejay, if your forum gets big enough, I'd be fine with merging the two nights. I was actually considering putting a link to your forum, but I think evveryone here so far already knows about it.

Guitar Hero/Rock Band Discussion thread
Every GH controller for 360 is compatible with Rock Band. I'm surprised that there are compatibility issues with the PS3, I'd expect that to be the one the most compatible, since Guitar Hero did start off as a PS2 exclusive. Palindrome post FTW?

Game Modes
Yeah, Rocket Race can be so much fun if you get the right partner. What I've always wanted to try is a version of Rocket Race I have that uses Brute Shots instead of Rockets. Seems much better because instead of sending your opponent flying, it just knocks them aside. And we really need to get a Games' Night going, whether it be on Sour Grunt or here. I think I need to add another Game Mode to my favourites - Split Screen. Sure, online is fun and all, but nothing beats having your friend(s) beside you, wailing away at eachother. To me online is just an alternative, not the real thing. Unfortunately, I think I came to gaming shortly after the LAN party era, so I don't think I'll be experiencing one of those. I also don't like how System Link for more than 2 Xboxes requires either a wireless adapter for each xbox, or a router that all 4 will connect to :\

Halo
Dizzle using the SGP siggie makes me confuse him with Bluejay. Anyways, I think it would be worth Bungie's time to re-release Halo:CE for the 360, but with online and co-op. I would buy it right away.

Co-op is by far my favourite game mode. After that is CTF, especially on Avalanche in Halo 3

PSP vs. NDS
Despite the fact that I didn't carry on with my plan of getting one, I would still get a DS over a PSP any day. The homebrew is just so much better, as are the Official games. However, if you did not know about the flash carts, I'd say that the PSP and DS are on even ground, because a PSP can be used for more than just games out of the box, versus a DS which you need the knowledge of Flashcarts to bring it to it's full potential. Also, I'd say that modding a PSP is much more well known than a DS flashcart.

My past 6 months. *lots of pics, not for 56k*
That picture of New Zealand from the plane blew my mind, along with a few others. Seems like it was an absolutely amazing trip, definitely making me want to do my own of sorts after high school. I guess it's time to start saving up

I found there to be no difference in difficulty between Easy and Medium drums. I'm currently on Hard, and don't really play all that much. Speak of the devil, I think I'll go play some RB drums.

Earbuds
I love the ignorance in the replies. He said that he DOES NOT want in-ear headphones. That includes "ear canal" headphones. Except maybe for the Fontopia headphones, every one suggested so far has been in-ear headphones. Think about the shape of standard iPod earphones. Those are what non-in-ear headphones look like. These are what in-ear headphones look like. Actually, if you read the pages you gave, each and every one said those headphones were in-ear, including Fontopia. I have to agree with limp. Unless you really care about sound quality, which you seem not to since you were using the standard iPod headphones, then just grab a cheap pair at a local Best Buy, Future Shop, or whatever there is around you. I just got a pair of $15 earphones to replace my broken iPod ones, and there is no difference for me. They are Sony brand, that's all I know since I threw out the package already.

New New Nano
I have to admit that I rarely notice any difference in the quality of music, unless it truly is horrible. I used my default iPod earphones until they broke yesterday. Then I went out and got a pair of $15 ones. I have not paid more than $40 for a pair of headphones/earphones. I have been wanting to try a pair of high-quality headphones/earphones for a while now, just to see if there is any difference I can notice. I know there are audiophiles that can notice the slightest difference in headphone quality, but it seems that I can only notice what would be considered enormous differences to those same audiophiles. I have also come to realize that if a product is packaged with other features (I.e. a clock/radio/iPod speaker system) then the overall quality of every component will take a hit. For comparison, I have an iPod speaker that is just that. My sister, on the other hand has a clock/radio/iPod speaker, and the quality of the speakers is horrible. There is next to no bass, and an insane amount of treble. It annoys the hell out of me, especially when I can't find the right settings on my iPod to compensate for the difference. Oh, and that is on thing I would love. Access to an equalizer, something that would allow us to tailor the sound of our music to your tastes. In other words, actually improve the sound quality of our music. The iPod shuffles are amazing for trips, but the amount of music I listen to, I cba to use one. Hence me getting a Classic.

There is no reason for him to get help. He simply does not care what happens after he is dead. After all, it won't affect him. While this isn't exactly the best mind set to have, it is logical.

Does the mention of Spore have anything to do with your post? It seems very out of place. I think that adding the new ranking system is a good way to show how good someone is in each play list, and maybe just to mix things up a bit. I personally love the decision. Earliest (And I think first) mention of the Play list ranking system

Really just what I do if I actually find something funny. "Ahaha" is for a mocking laugh, "Haha" for a sincere laugh "Hehe" for an almost laugh.
