Is God real post your thoughts!
As far as I'm concerned, God doesn't exist. I also don't believe that Christianity OR Science explain our existence. I do not know of the details of any other religions and I feel I don't have to, unless you can point out to me a major religion that combines both Evolution and Creationism. That is how I feel everything was created/evolved to it's present state. Somewhere along the line, something had to be divinely created. After that point, and the laws of physics, etc., were established, everything fell into place. The one thing that I still don't think anyone can explain is how something can be created from nothing. For instance, if a divine being, lets call this entity Bob, were to have created everything (and I mean EVERYTHING, every single atom from anywhere in the universe), where did Bob get the materials for this construction, and what created Bob? And what created what created Bob? Some might say that Bob created himself, yet that is impossible, because if Bob didn't exist, what was there to be created by. You could say time travel, but again, there had to be an original Bob for time travel to be possible. So, essentially, my thoughts on the existence of God are this: He may exist, but He certainly did not create anything. At best, God guided evolution, but nothing more and probably much less. In my mind, God is not God, God is a figure. Also, there is nothing that "created" everything, everything just is. The things I want to know are not in the past, but in the present and the future, things that I can completely understand. That being said, if there every comes a time when someone can prove to me that what I believe in is indeniably wrong, not just to the person attempting to convince me, but to me, I will abandon my thoughts, because then this person must have been able to replace these thoughts. Anyways, enough with my ramblings and possibly longest TIF post ever, I'm off to walk my dog and absorb what I just revealed to myself. Just to clear things up, contradictories are expected and inevitable, because I learned more about what I believed as I wrote ( Typed, technically). Oh, and this of course is not meant to offend anyone, for I have not mentioned anyone or anything but hypotheticals, myself and my thoughts. And then there's my dog.

GHIII Tournament / Multiplayer
If it won't be too late, I want to enter just in the New Year, I can't get GH3 until then (They just can't keep 'em on the shelves, can they?) Gamer Tag: BigFoot8C77 If I'm too late, how about just setting up a monthly tournament?

Your Thoughts On Emo's?
They don't exist. Seriously, think about it. "Emo" is not a person, or a lifestyle, it's a freaking fashion statement. I doubt you see it as a fashion statement, but generally, most of society will see it as a fashion statement. That's why they joke about "Emo's", because they dont think they will do any harm, or they're just cruel idiots, picking on clinically depressed people.

The globalisation of English
So alot Chinese people speak English as a second language. How does that affect their culture? Every single one of the people still speak their mother tongue, and have embraced English as the best form of international communication. And the only reason they have is The U.S., Britain, and Canada are among the most economically powerful countries in the world. This is why countries are making English a requirement, because its practical, and like Reb said, globalization is what saves the lives of those in underdeveloped countries.

Xbox360 - Noisy?
No, it is not loud, the game noise drowns it out. And to whoever said that it goes away after 12 hours of gaming, what casual gamer plays that much? Oh, and if you place your 360 correctly, it wont heat up that much, except if you play for hours on end, but all consoles do that, even N64.

Xbox 360 Voice Chat Question
Yes, you cna have the voice play through just the speakers, just the headset, or both, you just need to change a setting to choose which one you want. I'm fairly sure just playing through the headphones is default.

Ipods
OK, for iPods, you can have two settings as to how your songs are added to your iPod from your computer. The first is automatic and downloads every song from your iTunes library/any playlists you selected to be downloaded. If not all songs can be downloaded, it prompts you to select either downloading as many songs as possible or none at all. The problem with this setting is that in order to get all the songs you want and none of the songs you do want, you have to create a playlist, and you can only have songs from one computer at a time. This is the default option. The second option is to manually add songs, still using iTunes. You have to select this option. You have to drag songs, groups of songs, playlists, and all that other stuff, onto the iPod. You can also delete single songs this way. This way allows you to have songs from multiple computers at one time. I consider this the better option. Also, if you have purchased songs on your iPod, you can put them on your friends' computers (although I believe there is a limit of 5 computers per song), and you can put your friends' purchased songs on your computer from their iPods. The purchased songs must be bought through iTunes. There are only two iPods available with video, the new iPod nanos that come in 4gb and 8gb, starting at $169. The iPod classic (Video) has 80gb and 160gb capacities, starting at $279. iPod Nano:http://www.apple.com/ca/ipodnano/ iPod Classic:http://www.apple.com/ca/ipodclassic/ I'd take the Classic, even if it is a bit bigger.

Ghosts
THe only opinion on "ghosts" I have is that "ghosts COULD exist, but only because we have absolutely no clue what happens to your mind when you die. I don't mean your brain, I mean your consciousness, that part of you that is aware of everything, the part that lets you read this, that lets you understand it, consider, respond, argue, agree, the most important part of you. Basically, my theory on what happens when we die, is we just start another life, with no previous knowledge of our past life. The lives have no relation, except that you lived them. This is not religious, it's more scientific than anything, because we think because of interactions between cells, molecules, atoms and then those sub-atmoic particles, and sub-sub-atomic particles. Basically, every piece of proof of ghosts' existence has equal disproof and vice-versa. So I will believe in ghosts when you can prove to me that they exist, but I am not skeptical about their existence in any way, they do not concern me.

Halo Discussion thread
I still haven't beaten it, actually I haven't been able to play it all that much, between school, school volleyball, homework and hockey, I've had about 5-8 hours total palying time since I got it, which was wednesday. Oh well, I'm off to own it, hopefully \ EDIT: Damn sister, having friends over and using the basement, no Halo for me Anyway, I agree with Lionheart, it is near impossible to improve the FPS genre without virtual reality. And even then, that will will just end up being a game of laser tag, which can hardly be consider a consol game. So basically, it all depends on the support features the game offers. Halo 3, IMO has excellent features, most of which focus on community play. I mean, they give you an option to make MOVIES. That is just crazy and will spark some very good machinimas, and will also just bolster the others, such as Rooster Teeth. Oh, and while yes, Halo 3 is only really great if you were into atleast Halo 2, it still has a decent storyline. But of course, the third in a trilogy is always the best. In other words, call me a fan boy, because I'm hooked

Not exactly the best thread to say that in  But if I get the chance, I'll try out Metroid. Is it out for the 360? No, only Wii. Even more motivation for me to get a Wii then :

~!@Getting a 360@!~
1. If price REALLY does not matter and you feel you might need the extra space, get Elite. Also, seeing as how you say price does not matter, just go for the one you think looks best, you can always just buy the 120gb hard drive. 2. This all depends on what games you plan on playing. If you plan on games like Halo 3, Gears of War, and other games that are more mullti-player based, definitly. If you're just going to play single player the whole, it obviously isn't worth it. What actually pushed me to get Live (And a 360, for that matter), was the fact that I know a ton of people who have one. So base it off what you play and then whether you're friends have it. 3. I couldn't say, there's too many games, and then there's also some original Xbox games. 4. Nothing absolutely neccesary that doesn't come with the system, but a play&charge kit is recommended, you go through batteries like crazy. And don't forget a T.V. and electricity

Only 7 hours until it comes out! Anyways, I just looked through the manual they have at xbox.com, and you can do 4 player ONLINE campaign co-op! So, anyone wanna join me in destroying the campaign on the weekend? Add me, BigFoot8C77, and I call playing as Master Chief : And I live in Toronto, 1canadian1... And I'm getting for the both the storyline and the multiplayer, I loved the Beta and the storyline looks just awesome.

The SoundScan Showdown is OVER!!! THE WINNER: KANYE WEST!!!!
Haven't listened to many tracks off Graduation, and there is no way in hell that I will listen to anything by 50. I'm already loving Graduation, especially Stronger, but that could just be the fact that Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger is playing in it, which is my new theme song Anyways, if Kanye doesn't out-sell 50 this time, which I strongly doubt, he will the next time. 50's career is dieing, it can only hold out so much longer. Off-Topic Work it Harder, Make it Better, Do it faster, Makes us Stronger, More than ever, Hour after ou work is never over : Damn that song rocks.

An hour's time and 20 out of 900 songs is what I offer you.
