I went around giving iron sets, tunas, arrows, runes, and bows. I ended up giving away 200K worth of that stuff (which is hard, considering a set of items is only ~1.5K) I didnt get tradespammed, somehow. Nor did I get much attention, which is especially scary because I was wearing a party hat.

There is no "best" set. All of the sets have their own drawbacks and benefits. Benefits Dharok: Cheap, good for PvP. Verac: Prayer bonus, can wear while maging (top gives -6 mage compared to plates, which give -30 mage), skirt is cheap, sometimes good PvP, Fire Caping, KQing. Guthan: Slayer, training, free food, Fire Caping, DKing. Torag: Cheap, good defense. Karil: Best mage defense in game, cheap. Ahrim: Best mage attack in game. Drawbacks: Dharok: useless other than for PvP. Verac: Expensive, you lose 2M helm if you die (I think). Guthan: Expensive, you lose 6M spear if you die. Is ~25% less effective than whip in terms of damage/hour, making it less efficient training. Torag: Useless set effect. Karil: Same range attack as Black Dhide, even less Melee Def. Ahrim: No range defense, low melee defense. In usefulness: Guthan>Verac>Karil>Ahrim>Dharok>Torag

The question is does it matter? +4 is relatively small. However, i among many have spent 2.1+ mil on a berzerker ring, which gives the same bonuses. So... The 7 hours that it would take you to get the plate roughly = 2.1m It's up to you to descide if those +4 levels matter. Personally, YES, I think it does. Why? I couldn't gain 4 strength levels in 7 hours. And every single strength bonus equals a level... And apparently the defences are about the same. It is definitely not true for defense. Compare a level 90 defence person wearing full barrows and a level 80 defense person wearing full barrows plus rune boots. The level 80 defense person is a LOT easier to hit. I highly doubt it for strength.

If you are with a good team, BA is worth playing by itself. The torso is just an added bonus. The torso is not technically worth the time put into it. It allows you to hit maybe 0 - 2 more damage, but you lose a lot of defense. However wearing the torso feels like wearing a rare - it's psychologically rewarding.

BAing, PCing, CWing: ONLY with an excellent team. Otherwise it's beyond frustrating.

You use PC for mage and range training. Those require money. You also use PC only for 95+ skills. Otherwise it's really not worth your time. At level 95, using 100 points, you get ~1650 xp per point. (Formula is level^2/6 x 1.1) Regular training: melee stats and range stats.

Unless Jagex changes: 1 Chaos rune = 110 GP (from shops) Absolute minimum price for fury = 3.66 (3.7)M. ------- On a short-term note, I don't think Bracelet will seriously affect Fury prices. There are lots of furies in the market, so if the prices go up we'll see a lot of sellers. At most I think furies will peak at ~5.2 for a few days, given that Bracelet isn't amazing.

That's why Jagex has introduced other ways to reduce price. Squares and meds are already quite cheap. I don't think squares can go lower than 800K, meds 100K, and theyre almost there. Chain, on the other hand, is still 15M. However Jagex HAS tried to force the price down: BA, Keris dagger, Kalphite tunnel shortcut via Dorges-kaan, 3rd age... It's NOT impossible Jagex might pull a Dragon Large or Dragon Kite. They're waiting so that not too many noobs will be angry when they do (and quit...); thats why they're waiting for prices to go down. Why they would tell us otherwise? Same answer as before - so prices don't crash and noobs quit. Why would Jagex release more dragon in the first place? Same reason for 3A.

Fires are basically free and you can get ~20K an hour, maybe more.

stop being so lazy. the fire altar is one of the fastest altars in the game. having runners might actually slow you down. don't complain - combo runes are already the best method. asking for an improvement for it is like asking to walk on water.

What's the best order to train for 99 99 99? Strength first, then defense, then attack? Keep in mind you must use DScim for strength, and DScim trains at a slower speed than whip. However, with the 99 str first you will be able to do the two other 99's faster. Or Controlled with whip? Current stats: 87 Attack 87 Strength 86 Defense Argument AGAINST 99 attack first: I am currently 87 Attack and am hitting close to 100% of the time on Bandits, with Whip and Dragon gloves. I have roughly +100 Attack bonus. If I use DScim, I can simply switch my Ob shield to Defender for +20 Attack, giving me +65 +10 + 20 = 95 Attack. :-k Getting a higher attack wouldn't really make a big difference in the amount that I hit. Attack --> Str --> Defense is worse than Controlled (All 3 at a time).
