I've found this helpful so far: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=412870 df

I think Chaos go for about 10k (maybe a bit less) and Natures for about 20k. I can't imagine the lower ones go for much at all. I've sold mind tiaras for 2k before but there isn't much of a market. df

You should NEVER log out in the wilderness. (unless you're switching worlds) I mean wouldn't it be terrible if you would log in and get owned by someone in full dharok's level 125 with low HP? Oh, no sorry. Clarification: I was almost up to the demon. I logged in Varrock. THanks for the warning though, I am prone to acts of stupidity on occasion, just not this occasion :)

Thanks guys. I started the quest after the first post and I'm almost up to the demon now. But I have to go to bed so I guess I'll leave it till tomorrow. df

Right, I'm not much of a quester but I really fancy those gold gauntlets. Question is: given my stats is it worth having a go or do I need to train more? Also: what is a good strategy? The guide says safe spots but I seem to remember reading that it had been removed? Should I pot, and if so what? Would I be better using armour as defence or prayer with pray pots? Thanks df

There isn't and even if there is, don't use it. You run the risk of getting muted or temp banned for auto typing. There is actually a post around on the Rants forum about a guy who typed really fast and got a temp ban because they thought he was auto typing. df

1. I liked moss giants in varrock sewer personally. Then moved on to lesser demons (Karamja) and fire giants (Waterfall - still there :) ) 2. Disclaimer. This is all subject to a lot of assumptions and approximations. It could be quite a way out. Here goes: Ok 15k arrows. Max hit at 50 is 7 rises to 8 at 57 so say an average of 7.5. Assuming you hit an average of half this you will hit 3.75 hp per shot on average meaning 15 range xp per arrow on average. 3. Repeat the process for the 10k broze assuming an average hit of 5hp will get you another 1m xp so level 80-81 I guess. 4. Fire giants are always good and the Range skill page on tip.it has loads of other suggestions Hope it helps df Firing all 15k arrows will give you 225000xp Assuming every time you pick your arrows up you lose 20% (a standard estimate) by the time you run out of arrows you'll have gained 1,125,000 xp (this is formulated as a geometric progression if you care :) ) Added to the 100k or so you have already will give you lv 75 range.

Quests. The only one I can think of is Holy Grail (10k pray xp) which is p2p Generally its just bones, bones, bones. You can also use the ectofunctus which gives more xp per bone. df

The best non-abyssal option I found was to take my pouches and noted ess out of the bank. Put on my nat tiara, and take out some cash (about 5gp per ess). THen fill the remaining slots with ess. Go to brimhaven and craft your first lot of nats. Run to the general store (NW of the village) and sell however many inv spaces you have open of noted ess to the store then buy back the ess, fill pouches, repeat. Then go craft your nats. Repeat the process until you have 30gp (your boat fare home) or no ess left. Its slow but safe. Watch out for ess stealers though. I crafted 1k of nats like this, got bored, decided to use the abyss. Never looked back really. df

^^What Goobore said. Plus bodies will get you more RC xp than minds and earths more than airs. Also curse does not have to be slow if you set yourself up to fail (full armour and leather vambraces - any kind as it makes no difference) you can cast multiple times against the same npc. The skeletons across the water in varrock sewer are good for this I hear. Or the caged mage in varrock palace. df

What you aren't considering is that 'You are a n00b' in noobish translates to 'I am a noob and you aren't doing exactly what I want you to do' :) Do your own thing. Who cares what some random kid thinks of you. :D df

Without pick up you'll get to about 67 With pick up you'll probably get to maybe 75 depending on your luck Assuming you hit half of your max hit on average and lose 20% of your arrows a time I think. This calc was a bit of a rush job but I reckon thats about right df EDIT: BTW I was thinking you meant a mix of bronze and iron = 15k in total

I'm at the fire giants now and its good xp. Just bring a fire staff and nats to alch away the armour drops. It does get a bit busy at times though. You could also try lesser demons under Karamja, I've had a few rune meds from them (three so far I think). Or greaters on Entrana but that's a pain because you've got to craft your own bows/arrows/armour. There are also greaters in the Ogre place but you can't recover your arrows. If you don't mind risking it there are fire giants and black demons in the wildy too. df

On RS or tip.it? On RS there is a Change Password option in the Account Management section of the main screen On tip.it you do it in your Profile df

You've got all the ususal options open to you, fishing lobs (sell raw in bulk for 300ea), cutting yews (bad market right now so I wouldn't), mining coal (sell 200ea) etc. Side note: With the new construction skill its getting more profitable to smelt and sell steel bars now. Obviously all the menial stuff: bowstrings, law running but they kind of suck once you have reasonable skills. With a bit of training you could craft nats through the abyss. IMO you'd probably need: 44RC (no brainer that one) 50 Range (dhide armour is good, 60 would be better for red) And the higher your agility the better (more run energy) You will need a glory ammy (if you don't have one) as well (actually the more the better up to 29) but raising 70k shouldn't be so hard. If you can be bothered to raise your fletching to 70 yew longs are always a steady source of income, especially combined with crafting your own nats. If you cut all your own yews, craft your nats and buy bowstrings for 180ea, you'll make over 1mil from 2k yew longs. Its a good few hours work but you'll get RC, mage, fletch and wc xp into the bargin. df

I'll trade you cut gems for uncut gems if you like. PM me: Iratebadger df

Its a shame you didn't really, you seem like the kind of person RS2 could do without. On topic: I appreciate that this sort of game is incredibly complex to program and debug but this does look like a bit of a large bug to miss. Rushed release maybe? df

Steel is closer to 500-600 depending on quantity Rune goes for over 15k I think. The rest I'm not sure of. df

Depending on your hp you can push the mage and maybe the range a bit higher without changing your combat level. No harm in getting it as high as you can - can't hurt :) df

First up, I only have 60 range so I don't know a massive amount about range at your level, however, I do know about statistics so maybe this will help. It is worth saying that because RS uses a probability sampling technique to generate hits this method is subject to a degree of uncertainty, however, over the number of shots you will be taking this uncertainty will be fairly small. 1. You will hit max 15 at 92 and max 16 at 99, so we'll assume your max hit will be say 15 for the most part of your training. If you hit an average of 7.5 per arrow fired. 2. It is ususal to assume a loss rate of 20% on arrows fired (assuming you are picking up obivously). 3. For the first 23k arrows you will hit 7.5*23k = 172500 on average, translating to 690k xp 4. From then on you will lose 20% of this xp for every firing (assuming you fire all the arrows at once - this assumption does not change the outcome). It is possible to formulate this as a geometric progression and sum that progression giving a total xp gain until all arrows are lost of 3.45M xp points giving you a total of about 9967235xp or level 96. Bear in mind this procedure is subject to changes in the ratio of arrows lost and the assumption of an average hit of 7.5. Obviously using specials, pots etc could increase this average hit. df

What you say is true and I tend to gather my own stuff and alch it for funds, however, the reasons I included material trades are these: 1. Darth specifically mentioned speed as a concern. 2. Buying bowstrings in bulk for less than 200 gp per is a pain 3. Selling 1k of yew longs is a massive pain, loads of people try to do this so the market sucks. 4. Buying or cutting materials takes time, a regular material trader is much quicker in my personal experience Besides this, if you look carefully on the forums (or even post an offer) people are often willing to pay you a small amount of cash per bow. df

Chaos go for anywhere between 120-150ea (more in bulk). Pure ess depends on the size of the order. I have bought 1k for 60ea but the price is still pretty unstable since the update. df

The lessers under Karamja volcano are a good source. There is a good safe spot and they regularly drop both chaos and fire runes (not to mention the occasional rune med :D ) df

Fletching isn't the quickest way to make money but it is a proftiable skill after lv 70, especially if you have lv44 RC. The quickest way to mage longs is to make unstrung willow longs until lv70 then strung yew longs until lv 80 (alch all yew longs to buy materials required - you will not lose money as long as you either craft your own nats or cut your own yews). Then mage shorts until lv85. One way to speed up the making of yew longs is to trade finished bows for materials, there are a few people on the forums who will trade you 1 yew log and 1 bow string for every finished yew long (usually in batches of 1000). Basically fletching is a skill which can be bought (up to a point - more money = faster xp) but it isn't cheap to do (in fairness it is cheaper than many other skills but still not actually cheap per se). Rough price guide: Willow logs = 30-40 (best buy on f2p worlds) Yew logs = 250-300 (volatile, world 2 often has good prices in bulk) Bowstrings = 150-200 (more in bulk, sometimes hard to find sellers) Mage logs = ~1k df
