(t) is light blue (guthix) is green (sara) is white (zammy) is red (g) is yellow (gold) (guilded) is gold all over Any of these could be wrong as its off the top of my head You can't make them, they are rewards from p2p treasure trails. No-one can make trimmed armour, its a common scam. df

Depends on your skills and whether you are f2p or p2p. If you have 91 rc then craft nats through the abyss with 29 glories. This is supposedly one of the absolute best ways of making money outside of successful merchanting. df

Fair enough. Willow longs (S) alch for 192, shorts for 120. Unstrungs go for exactly half that. Rune meds for 11520 as I recall. Never alched an arrow shaft. df

Wonderful for f2p Lobster fishermen (like myself)

Doubtful but the income rate for those fishing for money should go up, and the annoyance factor should go down. Good news for f2p and p2p! df -
You won't cover your expenses alching the unstrung bows. Stringing and alching is a waste of time and money until you get to Yew longs. Your best be with unstrung willow longs is to sell them at 16gp ea to general stores. A better way would be to sell those nats you'd be wasting at 300 ea and pick up 10 willow logs for the cash. Those will sell for 160gp to a general store. Better still. Cut them yourself. 70wc is a useful skill df

Because it looks good I guess. Remeber that silverlight has bad stats except when used against demons, against them it has the same stats as the rune long df

Stab +9, Slash +14, Crush -2 Defence: Slash +3, Crush +2 Strength +10 It's rubbish. Don't bother. df

Ha, I just got 6 cave bugs from her, by far my worst assignment in terms of sheer annoyance. But, after that I got 168 bloodvelds so on average I'm not complaining :D df

Thanks for the help guys. Just need to stock up on arrows and get round to buying that mage short and I'm away :) . Thanks again df

Cool, thought it might be like that but hadn't heard of anything like it. Thanks, df

Just because it is random doesn't mean there isn't a definite probability associated with gaining an item (1-108 in this case apparently) df

I don't think there is a way and if there is don't use it. Typing the same thing repeatedly and quickly will get you reported for auto-typing. df

Right, I just got assigned a lot of bloodvelds for slayer. I checked Axe Man Jack's excellent thread which said: 1. Bloodvelds have mage based attack 2. There are safe spots for rangers/mages My question is: how can there be safe spots if they have a mage based attack? Other advice on slaying them is gratefully accepted also. Cheers df

Can someone give a strategy to achieve my goals!?
dogfever replied to liv_2_kill's topic in Help and Advice
Note: cannonballs is a good suggestion, but you're f2p so you can't All I would say is do the non-com skills first, keep all the fish you fish, you can use as free food later. Sell everything you smith because money buys skills quicker in most cases. df -
Hill giants in edgy dungeon are usuaglly pretty good df

Try slaying on death plateau. (Death plateau quest required but its really easy). Trolls are good xp but make sure you wear good crush defence, they can hit quite hard (but not very often). df
-
For all slayer related questions your first port of call should be Axe Man Jack's slayer guide: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=412870 Its also linked in Leester's archive of wisdon (stickied at the top of the General P2P boards) df

Personally I just got 44rc. I looked into Chaos but couldn't afford the abyss (glories and risk of pking and all that) and with the maze I reckon the xp rate is still low. Plus, correct me if I'm wrong here but: Chaos require pure ess (90ish each) and sell for around 100 each, so not much profit. I went all the way with airs (impure ess is 10ea, you get 4 airs per ess), the air market has been royally shafted by the ess update so I just kept the 10k airs I crafted for personal use, but they might sell for 10ea so ok profit. Another rune ess alternative is bodies now that the wall between the body altar and edgy bank has been removed. The market for these is not good but you might get a bulk sale to a mage pure using missed curse training. All in all I just reckon chaos is a waste of time and money. But it wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong :) df

All my range levels have (53 so far) come from iron knives. I can't fault them for training purposes but they might hit a bit low for monster slaying or pking. df
-
You can sell them but its hassle and stuff like that fills inv spaces. I used the nats thing when I ranged mossies because I'm tight and I don't like leaving mith squares on the ground, but using safe spots I could stay there forever and the shields took up too much space. So I traded the extra cash I could have got against the hassle of walking to the bank more often (plus a bit of bonus mage xp). Like I say its up to you, more money or longer in the dungeon. Of course if you can only stay a limited amount of time due to hp/food then you might as well just take the armour out with you when you go to restock your food/prayer. And yes df means dogfever, I don't like writing stuff without signing off in some way. Just my thing I guess :) df

I'd say not. For me Vannaka sucked - about the same level as you (see below), all I got was werewolves (they hit too hard to melee and I don't like range that much-you might be able to mage them but it'd cost a bit). I use Chaeldar (sp?) in Zanaris and usually I get Trolls (easy xp and reasonable drops), I never had one I needed to Burthorpe. For comparison my stats are something like (at:62, st:62, df:61, hp:63, mg:57, rg:53) df

I thought the only blood rune spawns were in the poison woods and up by the greater demons near the p2p wildy. Both of these are on the east side of the wildy in multi combat areas. Also anywhere this high up (35-50) is probably further from a bank than karamja anyway. df

On all matters monetary I defer to Donald Trump: "Money was never a big motivation for me, except as a way to keep score. The real excitement is playing the game." I never had more than 700k in my bank before I razzed the lot on leather, or armour, or weapons or anything else I fancied. df
-
A tip to save on bank runs if you aren't bothered about extracting every penny from your drops, take a fire staff and some nats to alch away the rune drops. I do this when I range fire giants. df

You'll unload both pretty quick but I would say to sell in 1000s say 1000 steeld bars or 1000 coal ores if you want really quick sales. Coal sells in game for 150-200 but in large amounts (1000+) you will always get 200 on the forums. Just a note though, apparently with ess being less attractive autoers may be looking to coal as another source of income, this would be bad news for the coal market. df
