  1. I used to have 15' hair in high school, but eventually got bored by it because every single boy wanted to have long hair. When I was 14 and had long hair, there wasn't a single other guy at school with it, it was considered hippie-ish and ugly. 3 years later more half of the guys had long hair. People are strange.
  2. Dewaele bros - my bastard pop collection
  3. What is this with people quoting Bubs? Perhaps I should do it as well, it seems to become increasingly popular.

    I'm amazed myself; apparently I have 21,257 tracks, 84Gb, total time: 1364h.

Gifts are horrible IMO, they always feel like you have to make up for something. Either something you've done, or something you've not, which is equally as bad. Try to do small stuff, like doing the dishes when it's her turn or help her with her homework. I know I appreciate things like that a lot more than material stuff. And if you decide to buy something, only go for something as clicḫ̩̉̉ as flowers when you know she really likes it. A CD she always wanted will make a much better impression, it shows you really know what she likes and you're prepared to spend some money and effort for it.

No offense, but why would anyone want to ask relationship advise on a forum? It kinda reveals your rather compact inspiration. Just remember what you want to do, ask her what she wants to do and make a fine decision. If you like football, but she hates it and rather wants to go to see a horribly romantic movie, just find the golden road in between and go see a football movie. Oh and please don't take what I just said too literary, it's more like a 3rd rank metaphore I just came up with.

*sigh* You'd get strange looks if you told that here azn :P Tiesto is just one of the thousands of DJs, anyone with a bit of skill at the turntable can do what he does. V&S is kinda the same, Robert Miles however ain't bad. Don't get me wrong though, that's just how I feel, freedom of musical choice forever!
  9. Indeed. How on Earth can you be upset about a friend moving? When I went to uni I moved away from all of my friends but I had the time of my life. He'll get to know new people and so will you.
  10. Why do you need two monitors anyway? Or are you studing graphic design Anesthesia?
  11. A lot of people can play the piano, but I bet few can like this guy. I was really amazed when I saw this video; this guy is amazing! Some people just have the most useless but nonetheless funny skills. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4918110854178292999 Does anyone else have some of these videos? Add em here!
  12. Love the Marilyn Manson cover.
  13. Lol I love that flash you posted Ragen! Obviously from funny students with too much spare time
  14. Then I'm happy. Though it would've been better if you said which bands sucked, because now I can just as well interpret that you dislike everything else in there. Which I would find odd.

Well, first of all, techno music is not made by bands or groups, it's made my DJs. But apart from that: -2ManyDjs -Aphex Twin -Aphrodite -Daft Punk -Dave Clarke -Depeche Mode -Dewaele bros -DJ Shadow -Dr.Lectroluv -Faithless -Hot Chip -Kraftwerk (electro) -Laurent Garnier -Marco Bailey -Miss Kittin -Moby -Nine Inch Nails (half of their work is techno anyway) -Pendulum -Royks̮̦̉̉pp -Shameboy -Super Discount -The Basement Jaxx -The Prodigy -The Chemical Brothers -Tiga -T.Raumschmiere -Underworld -Vitalic That's all I can think of right now.
  16. Who doesn't? This album was the real breakthrough album for this amazingly popular band.
  17. Hehe I was kidding Merc my man :) Adn U2 isn't really my thing either, too... radio-ish. Anyway; here's a new cover: It's a giveaway, but it keeps this thread alive :)
  18. In the back Seat - the Arcade Fire It's a pity I can't sing as high as she does. Well actually I just can't sing, at all.
  19. Course it wasn't directed at you, it was directed at me. So now I officially have to beat up Matt. I'll have to break your nose again you Mr. Nice Guy you  Besides, he added (generalising) to it.
  20. Crap, there goes my chance of doing that. Another question: yesterday I had about 2000 tracks played, it hasn't changed 24h later, but my music is almost constantly on. Isn't last.fm tracking my music or something?
  21. Steak. And apart from tasty animals, I love dolphins and elephants, both elegant and smart animals.
  22. #-o #-o That does not sound good. Hopefully it won't be as hard as German was... And you're planning on learning Dutch as well? After Chinese, it's the most difficult language for an average person in the world. But if your native tongue is English, Germanic languages shouldn't be too hard. If you speak German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian will be easy. Finnish however is a complete other branch of the language tree; it's very veyr hard, except if you're from Hungary, Turkey or Mongolia, its roots are there :)
  23. Yeah, I tend to switch things as well when I'm tired, not just items, but words as well. Brain still sleepy. I once put toothpaste on my razor, I was that sleepy. Thank the gods I realised what I was doing before brushing.
  24. *gulp* That was horror. Much easier said than done I'd assume. No-one knows what it was like in there really. Indeed, if you expect the fireguards to be up there some time, and you're stuck in a part of the building that isn't burning, you'll most likely stay put.
