  1. Are you Belgian too? CSI and blackadder runs here, but after 12PM...
  2. Please, Antrune, take the effort to read what me and Issy wrote about it. Barely anyone seems to realise people in the middle east have been suffering their entire lives, for a small part due to the western countries, especially the US. Now if they get indoctrinated and believe the US is entirely responsible, how would you react? With hatred towards the Americans, no doubt...
  3. Why is s/he the ignoramus? It's the terrorists who are ignorant. They are as well, I didn't say they weren't did I? But ignorant people are often people that are radically convinced of one truth, like the terrorists are convinced they're right about everything they think. Try to imagine you've lived in Pakistan, or your entire life, that Israelis, Russians and now Americans have been waging war with your parents and their parents. How would you react? Would you do the same thing as Bush would and attack their 'base'? Bush attacked half the countries of the middle-east, directly or indirectly, adter 9/11, which was a minor event in comparisson to the wars of the past 40 years in the middle-east. Now these people react, radically, by terrorist activities. Of course it's the same bad reastion as Bush's, but that's what ignorant and stubborn people do. They bite if they get touched. Now, I'm not defending terrorists, I'm trying to show you guys that what they're doing is barely different of what the US does and has done the last couple of decades. Except they don't have the army to invade the US, so they must rely on guerilla-ish terrorist activities. I hate both parties, but I despise the fact that so-called 'civilised' countries like the US couldn't react a little more mature. If Europe was the victim of the assaults, which they now have been several times, I'm sure we wouldn't react that heavily.

I saw them live a couple of weeks ago, I was very disappointed. Perhaps it were the PA's, but I couldn't hear the difference between public road works and the Deftones. But their music on mp3 or CD is good though, pity they sucked live.
  5. [terrorists]Oh, ok, we're sorry. Could you ever forgive us Oh Great American?[/terrorists] You obviously don't get a thing about the world, ignoramus. What else are terrorists than frustrated people, convinced they're doing something good? Do you really think anyone would so gladly sacifive its life to screw around with the Americans?
  6. The Simpsons, that's the only thing I still adore. I like Friends, Lost, 24 etc as well, but the Simpsons are like water is to my body, I die without it after a week. EDIT: I forgot Family Guy! Stewie, forgive me.
  7. just kidding ;) *prepares to get hit*
  8. Ok, I dare you to... do the boogie-woogie! \
  9. I cannot speak to you anymore now, Daan =;
  10. All the fault of the horrible generation of parents. Probably half of the parents in the world are far too lenient nowadays, or are drunk all the time and most likely divorced. How many couples have children that get dovorced these days? About 75%? I can imagine it's unhealthy for a child to grow up without its parents, its only true source of comparisson, being happily together anymore. Add a couple of worsening factors to it, like no brothers or sisters, addictions or disability to spend time with the children, and you've got yourself the worst childhood you can imagine. Those children aren't to blame, they most likely didn't see anything but their parents fighting out stuff concerning money, assets, or their own problems. The one thing we were taught before becoming a scouts leader was that we never ever had to disagree in front of the kids, that would totally undermine the faith they have in us and their respect. Parents often do nothing but that it seems. And how do they solve it? Violence. I don't like a father or mother hitting their child, whatsoever, it's a sign of a lack of control. I can manage 20 children each Sunday when I'm leading a scouts group, just because they all respect my authority and they won't do anything wrong, only because of that. I of course never use violence, nor do I shout at them.
  11. You believe in Allah because of this? OMG, that site is hilarious! That w-alike shape that's supposed to be Allah's name is sooo common in the world and all of its patterns that it's just child's play to find it in nature. What's really awkward is this face in the moon, for example:
  12. No need to bump your head thrice against a wall over that. If ever flat-earther would've done that, the medieval ages would be pretty bumpy.
  13. Well, a more logical explanation, from the South-American point of view is: west: sunset; so red east: sunrise; so yellow north: daylight: white south: night/evening: black The way you tell it, it would only make sense if you're European, because China is on the western side in south America, in the South are penguins, in the north are Aztecs and Incas and in the east are Africans. Not one colour matches.
  14. If it makes you feel any better, so did I, so you're not alone. That feeling came back after I watched the Matrix a couple of years ago. That's kinda...creepy and self-centered? Yeah, very self-centered. That's why I am a bit of a satanist. I think half of my friends are like that too.
  15. I can imagine that must be quite embarassing Api. I don't really like another emo punkband. There were too many of them the day the first one started IMHO. In some other post I said that bands can sing about misery and their complaints to their heart's desire, but only if they can sing about other stuff too, and if they can all put it into perspective. These bands obviously can't. Oh, LP, if you're gonna put a shotgun in Brian Molko's face though, I will put one up some place not comfy. :P I love Placebo.
  16. You mean like, those moments where you can "feel the magic"? Like a gorgeous sunset or something? Zammo! Definately this, amongst others. Oh oh, I'm catching on. A first kiss - the electricity in the air feeling! lets not get too cheesy..... He's right though, it's probably one of the best moments in my life. Another 'magical' experience is seeing a fantastic movie or being on an amazing concert. Well, to me it is anyway. A month ago I was standing in the front lines of a Sigur RÃÆÃâÃâós gig, it was 1 a.m., I had been looking forward to it the entire day, or rather many weeks, so my expectations were high. But I was blown away, I've been to many concerts, probably around 50, if not more, but this one was.. almost spiritual. It was sooo great, as if I was on drugs, but I didn't even have more than 3 beers. I got carried away on the lovely Icelandic tunes and woke up the next morning.
  17. Sad, only about 10% of all answers apply to me. So I answered them as if I had a gun pressed against my head, I could never answer them all, they're far too detailed. my 'age': 24, I doubt you can go lower than 20 if you answer the questions like a normal person. This quiz is just there to make people feel good; everyone wants to be in their 20s. I get given an age based on why I like tiramisu so much and what lie I last told. Well I don't lie, the only thing I do is exaggerate. But that option wasn't there. And none of the tv programs were things I like, so I picked spongebob. I much rather do this quiz: http://www.blogthings.com/whatflavormartiniareyouquiz/ \
  18. You're crazy Bubs. Btw, that 10-rating is mine, I don't want you to break out crying, because wel all love you. \
  19. If it makes you feel any better, so did I, so you're not alone. That feeling came back after I watched the Matrix a couple of years ago.
  20. The first comment..ok. Then second one..no. 90% of emo is just pathetic, stupid kids whining about there lives and how much is sucks. How about death or trash metal? owned. No offense, but there's nothing wrong with singing about the misery in the world, as long as that's not done in a horrible way and as long as you can put in all into perspective. Nirvana is that kind of a band, and I doubt you hate them either. The reason you most likely hate emo, is because it's sung by 19 year old semi-adults that think they've figured it all out somehow. Well, I'm 19, and I often think I do too.
  21. Nirvana - Bleach. I had all the Nirvana albums except Bleach, for some weird reason. Now I've bought it and liking it tons, it's always fun to discover songs of one of your favourite bands that you didn't know.
  22. Arsenal, since Belgian football equals a bunch of mentally lessers trying to figure out what to do with a ball.
  23. Beethoven: Ode to Joy This one stands alone; it's the epitome of beauty. Enjoy, though I really shouldn't say that, if you can't enjoy this, you're deaf.
