  1. Building steam with a grain of salt - DJ Shadow. Awkward song to have in mind, I know.
  2. Yeah, that's onbe of the best Disturbed songs; proceeded by stupify of course. atm I'm listening to Apocalyptica - beyond time. Another 4 Apocalyptica albums to go, they're fantastic. \
  3. Hmm, I absolutely love Enya's music, and I'm not ashamed to say so. Her voice is just fantastic and the songs are so enchanting that you just can't dislike it. Perhaps I'm more ashamed of the many classical CDs on my computer. I think I have about 30 albums of a bunch of composers. *quickly checks list* Here it is: Mozart/Beethoven/Bach/Grieg/Rachmaninov/Orff/Wagner/Vivaldi/..
  4. :notalk: Every one's opinion is an opinion, but yours is ridiculous. If you say Pink Floyd and the Stones are overrated, you're either younger than 14 or you don't know anything about rock music. And Metallica overrated? So you hate metal? Because I don't see how Metallica is overrated. Not at all. No offense, but if you bash some of world's greatest bands ever, give it some backup and explain yourself. im a great fan of metallica and i saw them live but.. well load, reload and st anger just suck that hard Hmm, k, that deals with Metallica. I actually think that people tend to loathe new albums from old artists, perhaps it's cool to say their old stuff was fantastic while they now suck? I myself lke those Metallica albums, I can even appreciate American Idiot from Greenday. Can you also say why Pink Floyd, Van Halen and especially the Stones are overrated? I do agree that the Stones are overaged to climb in trees and such, but they still made great music.

  7. Only if some one would tie up both of my feet and hands and threaten to dump me in the ocean where Bush is skinny dipping would I say what my 3 favourite bands are. There's no way you can compare 60s bands with current bands, neither can you compare a genre like post-rock with hard rock, punk or metal.
  8. yes please. Perhaps tell us the genre or something, I hate hidden clues :-X

band... parade... makes me think of the horrible movie American pie, band camp, but it was a movie from the late 80's, so I'm on the wrong trail here, that's for sure. Perhaps you can tell us the exact year of the release? That'll help.
  10. Yeah, of course, most of us have more than 1 brain cell ;). If I would have to paste numbers on what I find most important it'd be something like this: -40% wits: which is common sense and homour -30%: x-factor; the thing that makes me think she's the Only One; actually this is a combination of many characteristics. -10% looks: in my case, the looks of a girl get determined a lot by personality; if a girl is average, I can still find her amazingly beautiful -simply because she might be the funniest and most interesting girl I've ever met. -10%: honesty and trustworthy: you've got to be able to tell everything to a partner and know that she won't ever use it againt you or tell it to others. I also find it very important that you can feel 100% at ease with some one, obviously. -10%: enthousiasm in life: I generally don't like people who keep whining about themselves and the rest of the world. Cheer up, be happy, jump around. It's kinda weird to mathematically judge a girl, but I'm pretty sure that if a girl scores 80% or more, she can have me  . I know that many of my female friends have something near that, or better :). And of course my girlfriend is on top of that list O:)
  11. Franz Ferdinand - you could have it so much better They were awesome in Werchter 2 weeks ago.
  12. You... INFIDEL! :notalk:

    Licence to kill?
  15. On my new computer I have a very keen music folder where music is divided into 6 different maps: techno etc/ rock etc/ classical etc and soundtracks/ metal and heavy stuff not in the rock folder/ chill-out music/ partypop and housemusic. In each of those maps there are more maps sorted by the artist name and those maps contain seperate maps from each album I own from them. Very structured, very handy. The rock map alone contains more than 5000 songs and is about 15 GB. And my techno map is about 20 GB because I've got a lot of live sets in there. Gotta love music :3> now on my winamp: Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness - Smashings
  16. Oh yeah, the sublime album 40 inch from freedom or what was it called? I'll look it up in a sec and post my draft. edit: it's original name is 40 oz. to freedom, from Sublime Here's mine! It's a quick sketch, but people who know this fantastic band will immediately recognize the cover:

    Yep: http://images.google.be/images?q=viper&hl=nl I especially like the 3rd one ^_^
  18. No, feel free to add me Daan :) I haven't got a lot of music here at home, but I've got a nice collection in Leuven, where I study. Tuesday I'm going back there, since I have exams in August coming :-w
  19. There's billions of people that believe in an unexplainable creating force, that somehow messes with the universe and that also is the answer to many scientific problems. God is a phenomenom that might be the biggest hoax in the history of mankind, a last hope for what's going to happen after our punny lives end. I'm one of these people who believe in something unexplainable. But yet we don't make fun of those people. Many of them even believe that God is actually more than a force, those people believe that their Bible (or Koran, Thora...) is the only true source of knowledge. I'm not one of them, but I won't say those people are dumb. I do agree those people are very naÃÆÃâÃâïve, but who knows? Hell, it could even be that we're all living inside a matrix-alike digital world. Although I pretty much laugh away those asumptions, I try not to judge them.

Hummers support the Bush administration and show how small is the owner's... Nevermind. Not to mention that they're ugly as hell. But that's just my opinion.
  21. Hey! I've got that '100 best guitar solos' album as well :) And I've got albums from 3/4 of those bands too; nothing to be ashamed of. Anyway, listening to the hum of my computer now, just switched off Placebo.
  22. That's it. Simple as that. They're just inspired by the communist ideas and most likely adore Cḫ̩̉̉'s persistence and his will to follow an ideology that's for a good cause. Of course Communism can't ever work, simply because it starts from the assumption that people will gladly work for the common good. People only work for themselves and that makes this beautiful ideology completely irrational. I bought the shirt because it looked cool, and I like the music of Rage. I was 15 and if you're 15, you care about image, a lot :). So basically, I was trying to defend the ppl with zeppelin t-shirts, and I'm confident that they're not blind idiots that don't know athing about the band. On topic now: I like Greenday, I even like their last album. But I can't stand those costumed freaks from Finland and their kin. Hah.
  23. oh rly??...does it mather? mods have better things to do then check every '!' they get.... why are people from belgium so extremly stupid? What's your problem?
  24. They sure are! Perhaps you get any wiser if you know that it stands for 'Die Anarchistische AbendUnterhaltung'? They bring a mix of classical music with eastern European folk. They've made songs with dEUS, Think of One and some other good bands. If you want to I can send you a few songs of em.

Whoa, that is a beauty! A mix of the elegance of Ferrari with the beauty of a Porsche. I'd like one of those :) I've always loved Vipers too, but their stealmenw-factor is a little too high. edit: my fav:
