  1. Oh, can you post some pic perhaps? It'd be cool to see a smit at work :) (don't post anything personal, you can't be recognized here on TIF).
  2. You never know when a Road Runner might be about. meep-meep!
  3. I wanted to be the first to do that, but I can't figure out the code :-w  not like it's hard. Keep trying, hehe
  4. Belgium's enourmous web of lights is visible though. Or perhaps Belgians are just fluorescent.
  5. I think it's safe to say you're the only person with a taste for good music Merc. Go ahead and post your cover ;)

  8. Why? Who cares what happens to society if your life is meaningless in the grand scheme of things? You'll be dead anyway, it's not like you will see the results of your actions or that those actions will matter for anyone else. I like living with the thought that I achieved something good in my life. I most likely will also like dying with that same thought. And still I don't believe my life is crucial in the grand scheme of things. I even consider the Earth to be pretty futile in it; there's thousand of other planets that most likely have intelligent life asd well in our milkyway alone. And NO we will never be able to communicate with them, since our little milkyway is several thousands of lightyears big, that means we won't ever come close to every reaching another inhabited planet.
  9. Yeah, smithing steel is very difficult. I don't know, but it seems pretty unrealistic that some one can smit steel. Iron, ok, if you know a person who's been doing it for ages. But steel requires a lot of patience and even more heat  I've never done it myself, but where I live there's often events with medieval events, and of course there's a true blacksmith. But I've never seen steel stuff being made.
  10. James Hetfield: Robert Trujillo does seem a lot tougher. that guy's a beast But yeah, Lars and Kirk seem wussies, I think I'd almost styand a chance in a drunken fight.
  11. Hehe, that happened twice to a friend of mine in a week. We played squash twice on school, and in both lessons he dislocated his shoulder  . Poor guy, it hurts like hell he told me.
  12. No injury, but a gfoolish soccer accident: me and some friends playing soccer, when Ben goes through the defense, and I'm the Last Man Standing, so I give the best of myself and prepare to slide him. But then he makes an awkward move, and (he's 6'6" tall) somehow his shoulder touches my teeth, and at quite a speed. One of my teeth breaks, not just a little pice but almost the entire tooth, to the root, snapped. Ben, one of my best friends, is panicing more than I am as he sees me lying on the grass shouting with pain (I guarantee a lot of pain when cold air gets in touch with your senses inside your teeth). I realise my tooth broke off, but we were able to find it, the grass wasn't tall. Eventually, it was nothing really bad; the dentist had to recreate the missing part of the tooth and somehow pasted it on. You can't even see anything happened now. I :3> technology.
  13. 28 days later. Not very scary (although, you should have seen some of my female friends screaming ) but a good story and good acting. I'm not reallt into horror, at all, but I can't say it's a true horror film, it's a mixture of a lot of genres basically.
  14. That's Korn's greatest hits album. Just downloaded it. Here's mine, attempt to pixel art a cover, man it's hard
  15. It's trailer by Ash, I thought I'd wait a bit, but no one's guessed it anyway. I'll post mine in a sec edit: ragen was first :)
  16. What kind of movie would it be? I was listening to 'born dead' from BodyCount, and I imagined an entire film around it while listening to it. I saw 28 days later and Equilibrium yesterday, so I probably got my inspirtation from that; but a movie about terrorism taking gigantic proportions would be interesting. I think it may even be very realistic, since eastern Africa is a breading den for young terrorists, who get indoctinated by Al Quaeda recrutes. I once saw a documentary about it and there were hundreds of 10-16 year old boys training with kalashnikovs and reciting the Koran. That was of course all filmed in secret, but those images were very scary. So I started to wonder if it were possible to convince entire nations to rise against the western world and join the terrorists, and I'm afraid it is. The song born dead is about having no chances in life whatsoever, just because you're born in the wrong part of the world or because you're coloured. 90% of the Africans can be considered to be part of that group of people who are born dead. They have as good as nothing to lose and they're the ideal target soldiers for anti-western nations. If just a slight part of those Africans can be trained into suicide commandos, or just soldiers who don't fear death, I'm afraid this world will soon find itself in a massacre. If you also consider the nuclear weapons that many countries still have, we will soon have ourselves a war with proportions of the one proceeding the movie 'Equilibrium'. --- My movie would be about how it all started and why it was possible that so many people were convinced it was for the better to die in a Jihad than to keep living their miserable lives. Of course Born Dead would be the soundtrack, an agressive song, ideal for such a dark movie. Hardly a very original scipt, but it appeals a lot to me because it's so realistic. Pretty much a different version of 'cidade de deus'. So what would your movie look like? What would its soundtrack be like?
  17. Don't forget I'm the Emperor of this thread, I have The Power :P But that last pic gave it away I think, I don't even have the album, it's just obvious now :D
  18. The only reason why I'd pay money to see it, is Kevin Spacey. The man's a damn God when he has to play evil masterminds.
  19. Nu-clear by Ash? Or Meltdown or something? *feels like googl'ing*

You ok LP? *slaps LP in the face*
  21. Well, it's not because something doesn't consist of atoms and molecules, that we can't say it exists, can we? We also have numerous names for the space, which is basically nothing as well. If you want to know what I mean by 'nothing is something', check the upper post I made. Heh, I knew you were gonna say something like that. But anyway, isn't every divinity part of the universe as much as we're part of it? Well, you probably think God isn't, but I do :)
  22. What does rated R actually mean? Is it a movie with an 18+ rating? Silly rules... Even in the 60s there were movies where 'the f-word' (hate that childish description) was used so many times. 45 years later, nothing has changed...
  23. im assuming you posted this again because you didnt think it was answered? i explained how infinty works in the other post, there is no reason why an infinite amount of time couldnt have already passed. you can still add to infinity. I believe that Katsuro is trying to make a Kalam-type argument. Basically, (1) in order to reach the present moment, every moment before this one must have been completed. (2) An infinite task cannot be completed. Therefore, an infinite number of moments cannot have occured before now, because an infinite number of moments would have to have been completed. I'm not saying I agree with the argument, just trying to clarify what Katsuro is saying. That's silly. If there was nothing before a certain point had been reached, you can also consider that nothingness to be something. Check my post above, if you want my point view on the matter. So I'm with indy here; there has infinitively been going on something, even if it's nothing. btw, hi Astra! *waves*
  24. When wizards were still aweful, that's before RS 3d actually, I made a wizard called 'Ye Ol Mage'. The name has been copied over and over again. I'm a trendsetter : My other names: archer: Papa Chico (the name of a famous clown here) pker: Lil Oy (hey I was 14 back then, don't blame me) but if I would still play RS, I'd pick: archer: DontClickMe mage: YetAnotherMage (if that ain't too big) main char: Turgon
  25. woah, never thought id ever see someone say that  . i thought i was pretty much the only fan he has left :P Nah, I don't get influenced by his personal affairs when judging his movies :) He's a great actor. Some other actors that get bashed (it's cool to bash the popular peopl, isn't it? ) are good as well IMHO. Brad Pitt has a number of good movies; se7en etc. So I respect him for that, I don't care about what he's doing apart from acting. I also loved Clinton's policy, but that's a different matter
