The recognize-a-cover game!
All right, the game is quite simple; just make a quick undetailed draft of a cover -famous or not, doesn't really matter, just make sure some people know it- and post it. If your cover has been guessed, that person gets to post a new album cover. Here's my first one: RULES: * If you have the correct answer, you must have a new cover ready. * If after 24h, no one has come even near to guessing it, you must give a hint of some kind. After 3 days, you can just tell it and make a new (easier) one :) * No explicit stuff * If you thought you had the correct answer, but the author says it's not, you must listen to Dragostea Din TeÃÆÃâÃâï and Hit me baby one more time with the volume button wide open, twice. * Have fun, so no horrible discussions * Did I mention the penalty for posting the wrong answer?

favourte animal?
Wow, that imitaion bird is wicked! I wish I could do that, I'd be the casanova on parties. What female can resist the sound of me imitating a cookaburra? As for my favourite animals: elephants

Funniest "Quote(s)" you've ever seen!
I love Bill Hicks's quotes. They're not only just funny, they always contain a truth, something that none of us actually think of, because we always assume what we are expected to assume.

What trainers do you wear?
well, i can tell you shoes are very important Yeah; I know, at a professional or a rather serious level. None of that to be found in my reach. I just.. have fun.

What are you listening to right now!?
Just put on all albums of Tool. Atm 'sober' (Undertow) is playing, one of my favourites.

What trainers do you wear?
Yeah, basically, all shoes I have are kinda sporty. If I feel like playing tennis, and I happen to wear my all stars, then that's fine. It's not the shoes that make you win ;) When I play football, though, I do wear these: http://www.soccer-city.com/New%20Shop/p ... 0%20II.jpg [pic is too big to post]

Post Pictures of your city!
Don't we all? ;) There's quite a lot of these cities in Europe, especially in Belgium and Holland since that was the centre of Europe in the 15-17th century, before London took over. Antwerp, for example, used to be the most important city in the world in the 16th century. Just check those beautiful pictures rich posted: Then there's also Brugge, which is said to be the Venice of the north. The entire centre dates back from the 14th-15th century, it's fantastic to take a walk there, as if you're back in the late middle ages. And Rizla, what city is that?

wimbledon/ tennis
Pfft, Li was no match for our Clijsters :) Next match: Clijsters-Henin AGAIN. Darn it, they always meet eachother in the last rounds, I'd like to see another Beglian finale again. As for the men: Federer deserves to win, and he most likely will.

How fast are YOU going? (Speed)
If you're talking about the Earth rotating around the Sun; that's not at all the largest movement we make. We slowly get dragged towards a gigantic black hole (hey, I just saw Muse live, perhaps that's why I come to think of it) in the middle of the Milky Way. And as you mentioned, the universe is also expanding at an unknown speed.

U.S., World Domination in the Past in Sports? Over?
Huh? Are you stating Ronaldino is fat? He's got a 6-pack where we can only dream of ;) And why in the world would we think all Americans are the same? By stressing stuff like that you only encourage people to think that way. I do think, and I think I have a right to say so since I've been in the US three times, that there is a significant resemblence among countrysiders and among city people. I find city people to be a lot less patriotic, but more open-minded, though that's not always good of course. In western Europe the difference between people from the city and from the country isn't that big at all, since the distance between cities and villages is never more than a few miles.

*Official* World Cup thread (Predict the World Cup Final 4)
Oh please, if you don't like football, stay out of this thread. You don't see me posting in ridiculous threads saying how lame they are either. Grow up. Anyone up for a transfer prediction? I've seen some awesome noble unknown players out there, the world of football will once again change a bunch after this WC.

Vive la France! I don't like either of those teams, they're both too cocky, but still, I preferred France to go on, and they did. Good job French Frogs!

Post Pictures of your city!
Notice the huuuge difference between a European city, like the place where I live, and most other cities, like Toronto or Sao Paolo. Toronto seems to be a very interesting city, kinda like New York, but the mini-version of it, and most likely a lot cleaner.

Post Pictures of your city!
Great idea! Besides, I don't think mods will lock this; why else would there be a 'location' option in our profile? And most cities that'll get posted have a million inhabitants, so try finding users in huge cities like S̮̣̉̉o Paolo or New York... This is the city I study in: The Ol' Market, place to be when you want a beer. Marktrock, a festival held each August in the centre of Leuven The famous City Hall on the Grand Market You won't find an amazing skyline here, Leuven is a city in typical 15th century Gothic style. It was a flourishing city in the late middle-ages, now it's the centre of Belgium's students.

*Official* World Cup thread (Predict the World Cup Final 4)
Aaaah bah! Bit of a late post, but the Netherlands didn't deserve losing that game. More than 20 shots on goal, none of them made in through. Perhaps you can say the shots weren't good enough, or the goalie was too good, but if you shoot more than 20 times, at least one should be n, definately if you have a few great attackers like Van Persie, Van Der Vaart, Kuijt and Cocu in front. Van Basten shoud've let Van Nistelrooij be in the central attacking pos in the second half, he didn't even get to play!
