Do a mixture of diffrent things so you dont get bored. One of the things i like about mage is theres lots of effective ways of training. i really dont suggest cammy tele though, its very expensive and slower than alching.. like way slower Personally, i alched lots (about 90k+) did lots of mage training arena (got 3 boots, book, wand, bones to peaches) a bit of barrows (2k+ runs from 70-99 mage+) and fire bolting steels. Ancients at c wars is good for a bit of fun bonus exp but dont rely on it too much for training... expensive, slow exp but very fun.

pies are about 10k ea if you buy so technically he paid 280k to get em. still a fair profit.

finally got my last skill to 70.. Rc. i made 20k deaths, used 6k to get the extra tokkul i needed for an onyx and i plan to use the rest barraging at c wars. And here's my bank post godwars. 2 d boots drops and someone dyi in guthan topped my bank up again nicely :thumbsup: (sorry its still a mess) EDIT: just got another guthans death pile omfg. here are my loot pics...

yeah just take a net and rope. its a waste of time baiting or smoking the traps.

yeah, forget pc. you get reduced exp per hit now. Fastest exp would be mm dungeon, although its a little tricky as the freezing affects the spawns. My favourite thing to do is go to a castle wars world and head to the enemy spawn room. take blood and ice barage and sit there icing everyone and healing with blood barrage when you need. :thumbsup:

The 2 examples of 'pk engines' you gave were barrows pures and tank range/magers. I dont think i've ever seen any pker try to heal with guthans.. seriously, try playing fight pits in tzhaar with guthan and see how well you do. Also.. ruby (e) bolts don't heal, they take 20% of the enemies hp off and you lose 10% of yours. you're thinking of onyx bolts, which again.. no-one ever uses for pking. You say use steel+ arrows.. use rune, anything less wont hit high enough. Theres a load of other things that are just plain wrong but i cant be bothered to dissect it further. This actualy is a very well written guide.. it's nicely laid out and the grammer is great, it's just that almost every bit of information in the guide is wrong :-k which is kinda missing the point of a guide.

Hypercam is quite low quality. to get a better picture from it you can increase the framerate to make things run a bit smoother, although you'll get a larger filesize. If you want high quality videos it's worth shelling out for camtasia. As for youtube, the quality is always terrible on there regardless of the quality of your recording. you're better off uploading to filefront, megupload etc.

You also noted on a previous post that you could access everything BUT the front page? I wish I could even get that far lol as I cannot access anything related to http://www.runescape.com at all. yeah it's strange.. KBase, forums, highscores etc worked fine.. and the actual game itself. Smiley's on forums and the skill symbols wouldn't work though. Eveything's been working fine for me for about an hour now though, don't know about anyone else.

I live in the south east of England and had the problem.. a friend i asked who lived about 50 miles away didnt have the problem at all. Very Strange :-k

same's happening for me... it's only the front page though, detail select onwards works fine. Also, i can still play through swiftswitch, just not IE or firefox. Abberent specters are the best herb/herb seed droppers in the game imo.

you use crystal bow for waves.. by the time you get to jad it's too weak to kill him effectively. plus, using c-bow for waves is far far cheaper than x-bowing the whole way. your set-up is identical to mine cept i use fury instead of glory.

When i try to load the front page i get the 'Problem loading page' screen. I tried it on firefox and IE and got the same thing. However, i can load the KBase, forums and highscores but none of the images load. Swiftswitch lets me load the page fine, and if i use a proxi on firefox or IE it works fine also. edit: to add to this, the world switcher on the log-in page wont work for me while i'm playing on swiftswitch. any ideas?

i wish this guide would die so i can mine there in peace again :evil:
