  1. staircases aren't flatpackable, and no.. its either rug or staircase i'm afraid.
  2. charter ships are quite fast so i hear. also you could set your house to rellekka and get from there.
  3. - Achievement cape --- mage  i'll take a few off your hands
  4. yes you do make them... but the only place that you can get the arrowtips is from the dragon implings. you then need 90 fletch to attach the heads to shafts.
  5. theres a ladder in the oubliette. also theres the leave house option under house options

  7. Intresting theroy, but no fact to back it up. 1) We dont know how items given in a TT are selected. The same is for barrows, we simply dont know the formuals. 2) For java programming this is both illogical and not realistic. In java getting a item is like a random number, some numbers have higher %'s to be given out than others, similar to drops from monsters. Now some factors such as locations *MIGHT* influence what you recieve in your clue but even if they do, they are still only 1 part of the equation. 3) Jagex dosent set a *limit* on who gets what. As pointed out above, thats now how Java works. An update does not Reset the old code. A simple test of this is show upon update days. Start killing a monster before the update, and get it to low health. Then after the update log back in and kill the same monster. You will notice it isnt full health. This shows data continues even though the coding was updated. Intresting hypothesis, but it simply dosent make sence and has no proof. We dont know what the code is, so we simply cant state how random/unrandom them are, its all hypothesis. You have not made an intelligent post. 1) Yes we do. 2) Some numbers do NOT have higher percentages. That is why it's called "RANDOM". How you explained it is definitely not how it works. I'd give an example now but I am short on time. Here's a short one... you could get a random number from zero to the number of items in RuneScape. If the number happened to be the index in the array of items of a rare treasure trail item, you would get it. 3) There are two types of storage in computers: disk and memory. When something is written to a disk, it stays there until it is deliberately erased. It will not be lost if the drive is removed (and handled properly), or unplugged. However, memory IS lost when a computer is restarted. Some data for RuneScape is stored in memory. For example, if a monster is alive or not, a particular monster spawn's HP, if it's alive, the amount of items in a shop, etc... stuff like that ALL gets reset during an update, because they kick you off the game and restart the servers. Monsters aren't at low HP after an update if you damaged them before. It gets reset. Please go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page or learn something of the subject of discussion before posting in future. Thank you. Things you see written on wikipedia don't count as valid sources. seriously, thats the first thing they tell you on any kind of research assignment. It's a good site to get basic information about a subject.. and can be a good jumping off point to help you search deeper to find real evidence. But as a source of reliable facts it's very unreliable. I'd like to see where you got the evidence for your theory as you don't even cite a wiki reference for it. I'm not saying it's untrue, because there is a logic to it. But just claiming that it that's how it works doesnt make it so. On topic: i've never found a metho for getting better rewards. A friend of mine got 3rd age mage top from the easiest 4 step clue he'd ever done, while i've had 7 step clues with awkward puzzles and had junk rewards. i've let them sit and done them straight away with no difference in reward and also i've never really noticed a difference in how the monster that dropped the clue affects the reward.
  8. how about a random series of numbers and letters.. like xcvmnb003 or something. also wear camo and never speak to anyone
  9. you get a msg saying you already have a cluescroll.
  10. Easiest would be row 4. its the only one with 2 very fast exp skills. range can be fast too if you pc it. hardest is row 7 for sure. theres no way you can shortcut slayer and the other 2 take a hell of a lot of work too.
  11. fletching is the easiest and makes a little cash. downside is its really common. thieving depends how you do it. if you pickpocket the guys that give coins and chaos you'll make a lot, it'll just take a very long time. pyramid plunder is very fast and you have the opportunity to get a pharaohs sceptre although its not guaranteed. mining imo is one of the most impressive 99's in the game. it'll take a hell of a lot of dedication and it's likely you'll want to ore drop to get faster exp. but if you bank it all you'll make a mint.
  12. i always used karils xbow on ahrim, way before the update to regular xbows. i still think it hits the best on him, it seems to hit way more often than rune and has a quicker firing rate too.
  13. i always thought the minimum you could get with super was 5, and the minimum with normal was 3. i've never had less than 5 herbs per harvest with super unless the plant's died. On topic: my record was 19 snapdragon which i've only had once, i've had a couple of 17 herb harvest's too but the average is 5 to 10 as tripsis said.
  14. if i'm maging i use wealth.. i've seen 1 j mod say it doesnt affect drops and one say it does so i bring it in case. If i'm veracing (which is my main method now) i use a warrior ring
  15. I never got to play the old 3 round system.. it does sound kinda fun, but of course there's no way it could work nowadays with special attacks, barrows armours etc. It'd work well with f2p restrictions though right? although i doubt very much jagex would give f2p an update like this. how about linking it to the varrock museum... 'experience player killing of yesteryear' where you're restricted to certain armours and weaps that were used in rsc but you can still lose items when you die like being pked. probably needs a lot more thought but it could work.
  16. i think you should change the title to 'top clans tat read this thread and bothered to reply to it' where's gladz, Di, 'the' or jags? :wall: also.. just look at the runehead database for clans. much easier.
  17. pyramid plunder gets a lot faster as you level up. i've heard you can get up to 300k per hour at lvl 91 and up
  18. I've used up 20k chaos on steels/irons and havnt had a drop so dont expect one anytime soon. on topic: it would seem to make sense that you would need to talk to him.. when you do, theres an option to say 'ok i'll try to find the visage' as if you're starting a quest. you can decline to find it too. also, i saw in a screened drop that it comes as a secondary drop like clues do. going on the logic that if you have a clue already then another wont drop.. you can work out that whether a secondary drop will happen can be controlled and therefore might be the case with the visage. It's pretty much speculation on my part and i havn't seen the post that the mod made. if someone can screen the post then i'll stand corrected
  19. Oo this happened to me many a time while going for 85 mining. especially as i was f2p at the time. every time it happened i would stand my ground and continue to mine knowing that i had the spawn times for that world memorised. i can out-click anyone to an iron ore \
  20. My friends there atm, apparently it's so busy when he got there, there wasn't any dragons not being attacked. That's a lot of people killing metals. this calls for a trip to metal dragons :-w at least i wont get hit and i can just dance in the middle \ great idea i've been there for the past hour and a half.. no visage yet, but i do have a shiny new pair of red legs :D
  21. Seriously? Wow that would totally suck for everyone who has 99 Fletching already, I think Jagex can expect many complaints if this is true. I hope I didnt misunderstood anything, but they updated so you can just press Use Bowstring + Yew Longbow (u) and you can choose "all" and all bows will be strung just like when you cut the logs to longs (u)? In that case, I'm actually happy to be 99 Fletching allready. I love stringing! =/ yeah, you cant do it the old way. i loved stringing because it was 3x quicker than cutting, but now its the same speed. i'm glad i'm already 99 and never have to fletch again
  22. Trimmed mage cape
  23. there's a sticky for this.
  24. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=665946 my mate had almost the exact same luck as you. i just got 85 today so hopefully my luck won't be as bad.. but so far, 500 downed and no whip #-o
