You get 12.5 exp for making it into and bar and 25 exp for turning that bar into knives. generally the forging bit of smithing is where the real exp comes from.. unless you like getting 12.5k exp per hour \

I think its crazy the prices people are paying for them. i got mine after about an hour and had some fun with other people playing the game. i'm tempted to go back and get a couple more.

yeah drag weaps are better than the darklight/silverlight. i've heard that they are equal to rune in power.nAlso, dds or d mace specs would be more effective.

When you start a game and a charge is used, are you then free to swap the brace for barrows gloves and still get the effect? i know that this will happen if you use up the last charge but i was wondering if it did the same when going from 3 charges to 2 for example.

99.9% of the time i'll just carry on what i'm doing. It's quite fun testing their boredom threshold. generally they'll leave within the minute or as soon as a higher levelled/richer looking person walks past. if i just want a quiet place to get away from everyone to do some alchs or w/e then i go to BKQ and stand under the waterfall.. never seen anyone else there.

its temporary but infinite in the amount of times you can use it..while you're wearing the cape, operate it and the level is boosted for about 30 seconds. when it wears off just operate again and it will bost again.

the idea was to point out the variety of activities already on offer in the game that often go overlooked. i think the intention was to point out that the game isn't just about doing the same action thousands of times to raise levels but that theres a big variety of activities if you go out and explore. I think its a great idea and it gave me a good days worth of entertainment, i never realised how little of the things i've done in this game, despite playing for over 2 years. Also.. no one is forcing anyone to do them, there are still traditional quests to do and skills to grind. this update adds a little more variety and depth to the game. roll on fremmenik province achievements \

Banking ores at yanille i averaged 800 per hour from 72-85.

If you can get there, and dont mind using some prayer pots, go to the dungeon on ape atoll. i usually get 200xp per throw there and it attacks the same speed as a dagger.. insane exp.

Mage longs are way way harder to buy in bulk. if you're trying to buy enough to get to 99 mage this could be very tedious (around 85k alchs from 90-99). Yew logs and longs are plentiful and save so much time compared to mages. EDIT: My bad grammer.

i've killed well over 5k and never had a rare drop from them.

yeah, stick with arrows for normal training, the crossbows are pretty slow and the specials aren't really worth the effort.

yep, helm plate and kite.. if you wanted to do it on the smithers one its helm plate and skirt.

well, it depends how you want to go about it really. if you want fast exp but a loss of cash, then you have a couple of options... 1. buy nats and yew longs. you lose about 60k per k alched 2. enchant in the mage training arena. i'd only suggest this when you can enchant onyx if you want to break even or make a profit.. again you have a couple options: 1. buy yew logs bs and nats, you'll get 99 fletch on the way. 2. buy pure ess and yew longs, you'll make about 100k per k alched. of course there's always pc if you're lazy. i suggest mixing it up a bit.. i bought my way there for the majority of my exp with nats and longs, also i got mage book and boots in mage training arena and did things like barrows/dk's/steel drags for some variety.

me too. if the buyer wants to spend his time trying to make a few gp on what he's bought then good for him, but i'd rather get back to training than stand in a bank typing the same thing over and over for half an hour.

I've met and spoken to quite a few but never bothered screening them. Mod Chris and Mod Mark H are both nice chaps. the only one i screened is the one in my sig.. that was during the varrock/fally riots.
