The sheer variety is a big plus point. no other mmorpg has such a diverse skillset as rs, try and name one other game where players would choose never to train combat and just work on skills and still get a lot out of the game.

The being put back in the lobby if you log out thing really annoys me. Not only does it do it if you're in the waiting room, but in game too. I have a shaky connection at best and theres been tons of times where i just start a game after waiting 20+ mins to get in, and get a dead connection 3 minutes into the game. It'd be better if they ketp the rule for teh waiting room but not actually in game.

If we give noobs our phr33 St00f, they'll be walking around in expensive gear just like ours.. then how are we supposed to tell which people are noobs and which aren't!?

Going with the craft theme of super glass make etc, how about a tan hide spell? I think new teleports are def on the cards too.. a moonclan and neitiznot/jatizso tele would be nice.

Well written article, i think you've hit the nail on the head for the main reason affecting shark prices. In a lot of skills changes happen that affect prices etc of old methods but i think shark fishing has had a lot of these in a short space of time which is what makes it most noticable. The point in your article i think is the main one, but also the introduction of monkfish, increase in autoers and new methods to obtain shark (monster drops) all play a small part too. Together, all these factors caused the massive price crash we've seen other the past months.

I've had a couple of strange friend meetings. The first one was a while back, i met a friend in the middle of isafdar woods. We were both on worlds that aren't our homeworlds and she had her private chat off. I was like.. ha! you can't escape me! The second was meeting 2 friends in the prison pete random, both of those friends i had been standing next to in edge bank before i got the random!

they are 750 each nub look at the edit, then look at when it was posted. Prices aren't static, they change day to day. no need for such flaming.

There was a hidden update about 4 months ago that meant you now need waterskins while in the quarry. this makes it amazing ly annoying as you have to refil your waterskin every inv or so. luckily i got 85 mining about a week before this update.

+1 x a billion This is exactly the kind of 'i own u n00b' mentality that makes for a less enjoyable community. If everyone only played to be more 'cool' or powerful than everyone else RS will become/is becoming a very negative place.

Are you sure that's right? i thought their attack worked similar to metal drags: mage attack if you're standing far away and melee if your on the adjacent square. Thats nother thing that could be added to the guide... there would be no need to safespot them because they will stand on thye same square much like a metal drag, if you want to mage/range them just stand 2 sqauares back.

Why would they want to risk items? they aren't in the wild to fight or risk or lose, they're in there to kill dragons. Greens aren't that high leveled so you can kill them quite easily by 3 iteming and not waste food. Also yes, 99% are gold farmers, pick any random 5 people there sometime and look up their stats. check out screechingmu's great guide on identifying them too.

Good luck on your goal. but as said above there are a few better places to cook: rogues den - fire about 2 squares away from bank; lumbridge range - lower burn rate, perfect if your gonna cook sharks all the way; neitiznot - if you've done the quest it's very close to a one-click bank.
