why isnt it good that more people are training slayer? as for extra people training it to get the new bow, do you know quite how much work it is to get level 90? more than anything, the mid-high leve slayers are aiming for 85 still for whips, its only people that are already at or very close to 85 that will be inclined to go for the extra 5 levels. Also, what do you mean by the new whip? if you mean in desirability then perhaps, but for regular training i very much doubt it. the whip is popular because of its awesome power coupled with the fact that when you have it, you never need to spend money on it again. with dark bows, you need a constant supply of dragon arrows which wont be cheap.

Dragon arrows and dark bows aren't going to be cheap and easy nor are they meant to be. They'll be the highest leveled arrows adn a pretty rare powerful bow. theres already a ton of cheap and easy ways to range: msb + iron arrows for example.

Best month for updates i can remember, they've really done a good job. Funny to see that theres still a page of rants about any new updates on RSOF though. Btw its jagex not jegax.

When i first got my rune defender it took about 1k tickets from addy to rune, i went back last week to get a few more and got 4 in 500 tickets. as for clues.. i've been getting 4-5 per day from slayer. So no, definitley not harder to get.

I think i remember bumping into you at the heroes guild rune rocks around the day you got 99. You were so happy to have 99 mining for the love of the skill lol. I got my mage cape because mage is my favourite skill and it had nothing to do with the cape. 99 fletch followed shortly just to trim my mage cape and the fact that i wasn't far off. i've worn that cape once to try the emote and it went straight to my cape rack and hasnt left since.

its very much got a 'my first forum' kinda feel. particularly the general forum. full of little kids who have only used chat rooms before and expect forums to work the same. i used to post there, until i found tif, now its for trading only.

it was about this time last year i'd just hit 1500 total, become hooked on farming.. probably about lvl 60 by then, and was approaching 85 mage. 14 mage levels and nearly 300 total levels and here i am today.

if you can afford it get guthans. train in full rune/drag with whip on controlled then heal with guthans as necessary. it'll save you a ton in repairs.
