  1. If love is just a product of brain cells, what is faith? Love is no difference than faith. It is an idea created by people to help explain how they are feeling or for it to be an explanation for the way they think.
  2. This place is probably the most mental stimulation i get from school and friends combined.
  3. Actually your point is completely invalid. How is murder in any way related to euthanasia other than the fact that someone is dying? I would personally love to know how someone taking someone elses life out of hate, greed, whatever the emotion equal to a thing that can greatly relieve pain and suffering? They are complete opposites i am afraid. I am glad that you do no thinking for yourself and have no free will of your own. For some strange reason, I dont think transcending peace is able to outweigh the crippling, debilitating pain that you recieve when euthanasia is a thought in your mind. You make it sound so easy that all these people can get up, create speechs, floats and parades to raise awareness for all termanilly ill people. I am sorry, but it isn't as easy as just "creating hope". Several definitions from MW of "living" are ; 1) To be alive 2) To maintain oneself 3) To conduct one's life 4) To have a life in rich experience None of those i would say describe someone who is bed ridden for the rest of their days. And you say that AFTER you spout the stereotypical things of a Christian. Hypocritical don't you think? I think Euthanasia is something the patient would decide for themself. As stated before, certain cases where the patient might not be able to "think" for themself might have to be decided case by case. Overall i am sure it would benefit. If you have a problem with someone else doing something that has no way in affecting you, then you REALLY need to find a better hobby.

The crab one is the best. I prefer black and white pictures mainly though, unless the colors are really vibrant.
  5. Admitted that i watched jeopardy the previous night in the middle of class.
  6. I would agree with you on that they are too immature to fully know what they are doing. They do not think things all the way through, and ALL of the consequences that go along with that action. They are the youth of the nation and need help correcting themselves because like you said they have their whole lives in front of them. I can't think of much more than you did.
  7. Yeah i thought so too, but maybe the judges thought it was meant to inspire hope? I dont know, but the theme WAS supposed to be "Happy/Hopeful" or whatever. The original. edit: ewww sorry for size. hosted wrong image. I cant fix it right now, sorry
  8. I will post the original tomorrow. And that ripple is real, cuz i threw a rock in the water  . I added the sun effect to the center of the ripple though. Thanks for positive feedback.
  9. This is the picture that I submitted into a contest for a hosptial. It was the only other one, other than another that i didn't see, that was accepted into it. I won 75$ dollars for it. Its pretty good since I didn't spend that long on it. I know i could make it better, but I did it in like an hour.
  10. I want everyone to read this with an open mind and let me say now that there is no way in any way that I am putting down any specific group or person. Question: What good has religion brought about?
  11. Your text animation is too simple and too quick.
  12. Did you even read anything at all that i wrote? EDITED: quoted wrong person
  13. My pet worm: If what your saying is true, please provide the quotes from the bible. Also if thats what science was thoght to be, why didn't religion correct them? I would like to point out you are viewing science in a negative light. Half of those "previous science" views aren't even true. When did science say the earth sat on an animal? It is a common misconception that people thought the earth was flat around 1600. People knew that the earth was round. There were astrologists that figured many of those things out to be false in the renaissonce (sp). My source: http://72.14.207.104/search?q=cache:vbVYf0PewMQJ:www.bede.org.uk/flatearth.htm+myth:+people+thinking+the+earth+was+flat&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=3
  14. I was flipping through and nothing else was on so I decided to watch it. Its the tournament of champions this week and the categories were as follows: Lord of the rings, star trek, star wars dinner for one Still living with mom and dad I need a date action figures And a couple other i cant remember. I found it pretty humurous that they did all nerd catagories
  15. Actually Pianofreak, I said that because you randomly say that I am intolerant. What makes you think that again?
  16. Yes, my mistake, I did mean to type Christianity. I am not saying my beliefs are right, but I am simply saying it would make the world a better place if they were kept private. Now I know someone is going to say, "What if your beliefs say to be public" Well what would happen if my beliefs were to shoot up heroin everytime I see a blue-jay because they are sacred? It all has to do with social acceptancy. And because we accept publicized (SP) religion, it is a commen thought that they have the right to do what they want, as long as it is for religions sake, which is a very contorted veiw. And i love how i merely told Piano to shut up and he went off how that in itself was being hypocritical. Piano: You get an F for failure to support your thesis with meaningful quotes and ellaborating.
  17. If you don't mind me asking, how did you reach the conclusion that God would not be a person, but rather an idea? And how is people believing in a personal God justification for hating them? You said you hate organized religion, but is the belief in a personal God the only reason why you do? You say that people should have their own ideas and morals - what if their idea is that a personal God exists and their morals are that we should obey it? Nice point, Astra. Well made. It's ironic how intolerant the people who claim tolerance are. I actually said that I might believe in a god. As i said, it is what i PERSONALLY believe. See peoples opinions on somethings differ than others. What im trying to say is that religion should be kept to yourself. You are not doing any good trying to preach to other people. It should be a private event. And did i ever say i hated individuals who believed in god? No. i said i HATE ORGANIZED RELIGION. I hate the thought of it. It is the same thing as a cult except it is socially acceptable. There is a saying that goes, "Hate the sin not the sinner". My personal belief follows the same thing. As for following thier own beliefs, it should be trying to improve themselves, as opposed to harassing people to join thier specific division of religion. And piano, what the hell. I never preached tolerance.
  18. I haven't looked at this topic for a while and I was reading when I realized why I think what I do. Personally I hate organized religion. It is so stupid. I might believe in God, if that is what I wish to call it. The reason I hate most Christians and any other typical religion is they think of God of a Person or a Being or something capable of doing something. When in reality, if there even is such a being, it is supposed to be thought of more of an idea. Not something you should pray to for forgiveness or to pray for a specific event to happen. You should have your own ideals and morals. Organized religion is stupid. My thoughts.
  19. Then we would have to find a large toliet to flush him down.
  20. I've seen that before and i still question its reality or not.
  21. God is the BEGINNING and the END. If he was the beginning then nothing created him. He is infinite so he has always been there and always will be. If he was made then there must be a force more powerful. If there was, then God would contradict himself in being omnisent. Therefore he wouldn't exist. Here is a question for you. Where did everything start? It couldn't of just been made like that, because the existance of God is much more credible than a bang from nowhere. This is what i found in answer to your question Fiery.
  22. 3-d text?

Ahhh good movie. On a serious note on this topic: Define mean. Mean is a subjective term. Please support your thesis with quotes and examples from the piece.
  24. Your sigs are always the same - random. They made me crack a smile. Keep up the random quotes.
