Now that's just ignorant. Using that weak arguement, all documentaries, memorials, books, movies, songs, paintings, basically any form of art or media imaginable, that are centered around tragic events should be banned. Basically all of the History Channel would go off air and much of most libraries and museums would be cleared out. I don't know if you were just playing the devil's advocate, but that's just ridiculous. I agree with purple. I don't know how to explain it, but 9/11 is differant than all other tragic events. War movies are more informative about what happened. We all know what happened on that flight. Terrorists used weapons to hijack a plane and kill thousands of people. It is ridiculous that people want to make money off of that.

I am absolutely lost. But it doesnt help i only got about 3 hours of sleep.. . . ..

I hate to get all sentimental i dont even know if that word fits, im tired, what purpose do they serve? They serve no purpose. IQ is a very general and vague way of predicting someones intelligence. There are other things to life than thinking your better than someone. Btw I am not angry at the test because i did bad. I am smart.

But really, you shouldn't be in this situation because A) If you believed it, then you wouldn't question how, what, why it happened or B) You don't believe it, and you wouldn't care

Wait Wait don't tell me is a great program. I listen to the only alternative rock station in the area, 89x, but usually they play crap. So i listen to the NPR! WEWT I was hoping it was about npr.

Hmmm sunset, not a bad idea. But yeah that is pretty cliched. I have pictures of flowers with dew already from previous assignment, so I don't think i need anymore. I think your right, I will probably have to wander around for a while before I get an idea.

I am in second year photo class and have been lacking creativity for this one. I decide to turn to the experts at the media board for help. The project is a photo, using any style (IE panning, hockney, drawing with light etc). The picture is supposed to be uplifting. It is this way because we are entering our finished projects into a contest for the local hospital to be put on the lobby wall and recieve money. The picture is suggested to be "happy" as it would create a better atmosphere for the hospital. Suggestions?

I wouldn't say the schools fault, but in a way it is. I know where your coming from. I made a post a while back about my ridiculous World history teacher and I guess I made some bad posts back then because I got flamed for it. But listen to MY situation: On the Vietnam war test, one of the questions was: "What ended on April 30, 1975?" Now I didn't respond like this, but some people did. They said, "The War". She marked them wrong because they didn't specify which war. I don't think the U.S. was involved with any other country at that time, but that isn't the point. Is that testing someones knowledge or is it trying to take away what few points they have in the class. If you miss one homework in that class, your grade LITERALLY drops 1 whole letter. I hate her.
