I was under the impression that penance and vampyrism were only good for high level bosses since it's really easy to bank during slayer. Equilibrium is unconfirmed to work with stuff like ruby bolt specs the last I checked. I would probably just save the points for random cosmetic things or for when they release new auras that actually might be super useful.

You could probably do DKs for pure cash; I personally don't have experience with them so check the Tip.it guide or wait for a reply here. Dragons also work. Also make sure to mix in your standard slow and steady cash makers like MTK and continue with your farming.

You should just mage the caves and forget about ranging it. You have 99 mage, meaning you rip right through the whole thing with SoA or PPS and you tank Jad easily in gano.

How do you define best? Fastest? Good mix of cheap and fast? Paul's method is good if you want to do some cross training, but the actual ranged XP is kinda slow. If you're in a rush chins are probably the best way to go.

Dump the mystic for Ahrim robes. Also try to get a Staff of Light to replace your current one as it's very cheap. Polypore is pretty accurate, has high damage, and super cost-effective, but it's very slow XP since there's no base damage. I'd stick with surging, though I'm not sure how accurate water surge is on metals.

Well that's pretty useless then since the only potions I ever intend on making from now is exts into ovls, meaning the rewards are pointless to me now.

I think you underestimate how far computing has come. Most of the "close to impossible that they are not viable to do" things stem from certain very challenging mathematical problems. Sure, cracking AES-256 bit encryption is at the moment is extremely difficult and not reasonable to do, but that is not to say that mathematics and computing won't advance to the point where it does become a much more feasible problem to approach. It's logical and physical impossibilities like the halting problem and breaking quantum encryption that are things that computers should never be able to do. Talking from a RS perspective, I doubt there will be anything that Jagex can ever do that is 100% immune to being broken.

I haven't actually played FPF, but is it at least less boring and click-intensive than running laps? I also find it really annoying sometimes to click on the climb up after the bridge thing on ape atoll.

To be fair, the creator RSBuddy touted that he had a working version that broke bot nuke, but of course then didn't release it and signed on with Jagex. There are very few things in software that are actually difficult or impossible.

850 for whole set Since you're pretty low level, you'll be using low level lander (also assuming themed world since I don't recall there being any low leveled PC clans). At the very best you can complete a run in about 2 mins 30 seconds, but since you sometimes lose, miss a lander, take longer than 2 mins to finish a clear itself, or have to wait for a lander to fill up, make it around 3:30 for a run. Should take you 20-30 hours to obtain full set using standard PC. Hard to say how long Conquest will take, but I recall the rate being roughly equivalent to using the lander that you would normally be able to use, so still probably 20+. I personally find this is a lot more enjoyable since you actually get to think and get some variety in play, but you also don't get CB xp.

Software development can be a never ending battle between the hackers who want to exploit, automate, or break the game, and the developers, who want to stop all of these things. Once one thing is found, an effort is made to fix it. Once it's fixed, an effort is made to break it again. However, Jagex seems to be willing to pour far more resources into breaking botting for good than the bot-developers are and now they're also utilizing means of legally getting to the head of the bots. This is certainly a critical point for Jagex, and also for prayer pots, cballs, and chins.

I'm fairly certain creating a deadly plague or a massive atomic weapon that could blow up the moon and fit in an aglet would be examples of bad things. Creation is not always a good thing. Gratz on Jagex for winning this fight against the bots, but I'm personally a little begrudged that prayer pots probably won't ever fall back down to like 2k a pop and cannonballs like 250GP ea :rolleyes:

What is entailed by 'casual gamer' in this case? Time spent? Skill? Devotion? Or a mix of all three?

Torstol is awful to farm now, even with jujus and scroll of life. Snaps are the way to go right now imo.

Poor is when you go to the GE to buy seeds for farm run and can't buy enough for a single run :|

The only configuration I know which reduces the occurrences is fixed window with software rendering, but even then I still get it at least once a day.

Can you get rocks with the Book of Char?

It wouldn't necessarily be better, but I feel like they could add just as much novelty and utility by revamping out-of-date skills as they could with making a completely new skill.

As someone who has done 110 barrows runs with not a single drop, I'm jelly.
