  1. Normally if you dg with a super low level, the floor master will be given a prompt that there's a lower leveled member on the team and the dg can be scaled back drastically to make it easier for them as well. However, you can dismiss the message and just keep the high difficulty. This increases the overall xp for all the players. Usually the low level is a skiller who makes food, armour, runes etc.
  2. I once did random duo with a maxed player (except for dg of course) on a med c5. Even with my 78 mining, he found enough prom ore to make a platebody and legs from scratch o.O
  3. I'm finding fewer and fewer people wanting to play GoP, let alone the steady 5050 approach.
  4. I was just under the impression that with decent stab + defender ~ zammy spear stab that it would be an ok option at corp. And like already said, the spec may help as well.
  5. I think one of the main uses would be a cheap substitute for the zs at corp.

This site could prove helpful when keying. Depends on your RS screen and stuff, but I've found it to be amazing.

Don't ever waste time trying to create more armour at the start of a dungeon. Just bind your fire staff and death runes and only make other equipment if it's completely convenient on a non-rush dg run (ie. you find two dromo dinos and you have enough money for the other hides/you find some fractite rocks). Are you level 50 yet? I would suggest a fractite chainbody as: 1. It has the same negative magic attack bonus as dromoleather 2. Lighter than platebody by 4kg and only 2 heavier than dromo 3. Much considerably better defence in all fields except for magic compared to dromoleather (But with a high magic level, that should help shield you against magic attacks anyway)
  8. Well I meant 100k an hour. Iron arrows minos are a pretty steady income, but it would be nice to have alternatives just so I don't have to look at the same minotaurs all the time. Maybe dark wizards outside varrock?
  9. A budget is pretty important. Barrows and bandos are difficult to compare when one is like 20 times more expensive unless money is of no object to you. You should get bandos if you can still maintain other important items like a whip and around 5-10 mil cash. Barrows otherwise. People usually look at the degradation and make it out to be a lot more than it really is. It's around 100-200k depending on your smithing level for the chest and legs and that lasts you for 15 hours. Less than 13k an hour is like nothing at all.
  10. Well I was under the impression that rcing in F2P wasn't very profitable either. Most methods I researched weren't much more than 100k. Same goes for lobby fishing. But maybe I'll look at some more guides to make sure before I totally rule it out. And another thing, where would be some other good training options? Minotaurs are starting to bore me and a change of scenery would be nice :/
  11. Ever since the champion nerf, my single champ has turned into 2 knights. I've not lost since.
  12. If the OP is still maintaining this thread, it might help to make a note and reup a new inventory picture as the diary changes have made most things unnecessary.
  13. Problem is that gorg weps except for the maul takes 80 atk and I'm fairly certain zerkers keep it at 70 atk. It's certainly a tough choice, but the gorg maul may be superior in this case. While not having slash is definitely going to hurt you, I don't think it's worth dropping a metal type. 50 extra crush bonus and 22 strength is significant. As for the OP, I think it's going to take a fair amount of playing to get from 21 to 64 dg in just 2 weeks. Don't get too hung up on any equipment you get if you end up dging in F2P later.
  14. :wall: ^This is your text Anyway, you could also just learn to play Conquest. If you end up getting decent at it and enjoying the game, you'll earn plenty of commendations without the fear of any bots bringing down the team. When I first started playing it, I managed to get 700 commendations between rank 1000-1262, after a bunch of wins and losses. To me, this was MUCH more enjoyable than trying to play and win 175-350 games playing PC.
  15. Addy darts are probably the way to go for a good balance of speed and price. They've got more than twice the stats and less than double the price. I bought 30k of them when they were around 102gp and plan to go to work in kuradel's dungeon when I get 75 slay and a fero ring :D
  16. If you're just doing solo: Rush all floors up to (max floor - 5). For a rush, set it to c1 and ignore any monster you don't have to kill. Once you find the boss, prep and kill immediately. For the last 5 or so floors, do c6 mediums. You should really find a team or at least a buddy though. Having even just one other person to team monsters or key makes dungeons clear faster and gives you 5% more xp.
  17. Well aside from 49 smithing for all fractite equipment, 65 rc for deaths (I'll probably just get 54 for laws though. Rcing in F2P is just awful <_< ), and then maybe cooking and FM for making food, what other skills would I need? As for making money, I'll do something silly like smith gold amulets or train on Al-kharid guards and sell bones. There really aren't too many ways to make money in F2P
  18. This is actually not a horrible idea. Amulets pretty much always sell near instantly because of jewelry stringers and gold bars are also in high supply because of gold smelters. At around 30k an hour, it not more than 3 hours for you and it's pretty laid back. However you may potentially find success with other forms of jewelry. I remember doing emerald rings and those profiting by quite a bit while still being slightly faster than gold ammies, but prices have since changed.
  19. They most certainly do. I guess it's off to the DA and with a pile of trout I go.
  20. I really don't want to start the account over and the prayer is still useful for the 10% strength as I've heard/seen. I also don't have much xp with actual pking. Would it be better to just wing it when I think my stats are adequate or practice somewhere safe like the DA? As for the g2h, isn't dung a pain with only 1 def? I thought you pretty much had to skill at that point.
  21. Does poison still affect you in your house?
  22. I've been working on an account for a little while and was wondering how viable a 1 def pure is in F2P. Stats are currently: 40 atk 52 str 43 ranged 1 def 50 mage 13 pray (I got this for lummy ring and for 10% str pray, don't tell me I should start over because of this) Goals are probably 45 atk, 70+ str, 60+ ranged, and 85 mage for teleblock if it's necessary. Do 1 def pures do well in F2P PVP? I'm assuming I would range 2h with this guy. I was also considering raising his def to ten to open up a few more training options because the only things I can see worth training on at the moment are minotaurs :/
  23. I'm interested in seeing if that first willow will change anything if he had a hidden .5 xp from a previous random willow he cut before.

10M is plenty of wiggle room by any means. I was still able to buy up snap seeds for farming and other stuff like battlestaves and broad bolts daily running with only 4 mil of cash in the bank. Level 85 is a decent level to get since that gives you super antis and spec restores and +4 herblore boosts with stews is very manageable.
  25. My impression of Korasi's sword being good for PVP was that it was ridiculously cheap to replace and had an okish spec. Otherwise, it's only a tiny bit better than the dragon scim.
