Not really reliable for the actual warding component. Shaco boxes are usually best for ambushing and mid team fight disruption, not actually cordoning off areas. Teemo's shrooms and Nidalee's traps are probably the best bets for vision, but they're generally inadequate replacements for real wards. Riot mentioned they were considering a wriggle type item for supports which would have been awesome, but I think they might have scrapped it.

The AD is the only one who really has an excuse for not buying them since they lane with the support, but even then if you're getting all the kills and extra fed, you can chip in to cover all your bases.

Except wards. At every point in the game they are good. How/when/where you place them is the only situational part, but your team should always be making an attempt to get some on the map.

With what we know so far in the beta, what would be more worthwhile to aim for first, summoning or prayer?

I would suggest you go to a more specialized forum for that sort of hardware repair. The folks over at www.reddit.com/r/techsupport or www.reddit.com/r/hardware might have a better idea.

I find Diff's articles to be interesting in how he attempts to do the analyses, but you have to take it with a grain of salt. He tries to make a lot of generalizations and fuzzy assumptions as leaves out a lot of unknowable/unpredictable things. I find the AD carry generally picks up the fewest as the support should be the one warding the lane, but it sometimes helps to pick one or two up for extra bush control.

I'm inclined to say wards are a better item. FH may give you a lot of really good stats and has a strong aura, but it can still be countered by stuff like double AP. Wards are always useful, no matter what.

Most spec weapons are also probably going to be outclassed unless they massively buff their damage (which is unlikely).

Is it just one tick they can be diseased? My impression is that they could actually get diseased every tick, but the farmer would always just cure it. @OP, are you actually paying for protection? If yes and you're not using supercompost, you probably should use it. The farmer acts as a safety net for dying plants, but doesn't actually reduce the chances of getting diseased. Another possible factor is you logging off and on constantly as that resets the growth tick. As an aside in regards to payments, you should only pay for protection if the 10% of the cost of the seed exceeds the payment price.

The general theme seems to be any armour that was primarily purchased/obtained for it's offensive bonuses (with a few exceptions like bandos) and also spec weapons will become outclassed until Jagex has a look at them again. Slayer helm not doing anything special except combining different slayer protections doesn't sit right with me at all. 10% more dmg on melee void will also probably be not worth it.

This is fairly rare though. Very few carries can effectively make use of high LS, especially in team fights. IE's stats are also all available immediately and can't be lost. Still talking items, I really like GA on ADs, especially if they have an all-in assassin/burster like Leblanc or Talon. There are also pretty much no cases where it is best to build boots of swiftness. On Anyone. You generally want to stick with greaves on ADs, sorc/ionian on AP, mercs/tabi on junglers/bruisers, and ionian/mercs/tabi on supports. As for how to buy, try to find a balance between saving gold for your big items and also not just sitting on a huge pile of gold. Finishing items is pretty important because of unique effects and gold efficiency. Also buying BF sword as a first item after boots is almost always a mistake, because an enemy who builds doran's/vamp will be able to lane more effectively against you.

Ticks are global and across every server right? So ideally you would cast it at 5:00, 25:00, 45:00, etc?

What exactly did you prefer about the old system?

The general meta dictates that you should be bot with a support champion, but at your level of play just pick whatever and play your best. Your build on Ashe is kinda funny. Most of those builds are rather funny.

That's kinda funny. There's a lot of talk about how LoL is just filled with a bunch of immature ragers as well. It really just goes to show that every game has an awful side.

How do you use the spell effectively? Do you just cast every growth cycle (20 mins right?)? Gz on RC. Now you can do the hard skills.

In what way is HoN's worst community ever worse than LoL's worse community ever? Riot's doing some biiiiig stuff this patch. 3 reworks and tons of QoL changes like gold earned on a GP/10.

1GB Gfx memory isn't necessarily amazing; it will let you do a lot of textury stuff though. The point raised still stands. To get the most out of a PC, you have to invest a lot more of time, effort to research to know what you're getting and of course money since the parts themselves are just expensive (a new higher end GPU will run more than a whole console system).

Nothing the next patch matters to me more than Xin remake.

I'm so glad they fixed his ult however many months ago. Now players, pro and noob alike, are starting to play him a lot more.
