Whenever I used to take melatonin to help me go to sleep I'd have the most vivid dreams. A couple times I did indeed recognize that I was in a dream and took control of it. I'll try the laying down method tonight. OH, and I just remembered something I used to do when I was like 5-6 years old. My grandma told me that if I looked at my palms when I was in a dream, I could control it however I like. And for me it did work a couple times, and to this day I remember a couple of the really strange dreams that I controlled at that age.
