  1. what are you going to use the armor for? And about the quest items, you're asking about the best armor setup and RFD gloves will be there.
  2. Your name isn't dume dude 56 ;o its RAWK_LOBSTR!!
  3. Since when was Guthans not a piece of barrows equipment? I think I missed the notice. Torag legs do have a small amount of defence over Guthans but it's really not worth the extra money if you don't have much to spend. Better this way?
  4. My guess would be that Prayer costs will keep on rising in the next few months, so getting that out of the way before Drag Bones rise even more would save you money. Once you have earned the money back and are able to buy 99 Herblore, the hype probably has died down a bit and you will be able to get it for cheaper.
  5. That is clearly a Wooper in your sig, not a Mudkip
  6. Don´t use Guthan Legs, they have so little melee defence that it´s almost better to wear nothing at all. Swap your Dragon legs with a piece of Barrows equipment (Torag/Dharok legs or Verac Skirt) and get yourself a Fury. If you need some more money to get for instance 70 Prayer (do it!) try killing some green dragons for bones and hides.
  7. I would say Slayer, but since you´ve already dismissed that option I´d go with either AZ´s or Zombie Monkeys, depending on your personal preference.
  8. Be sure to check out Andylax' Rock Lob bursting guide in the AOW, I got all the information I needed there about inventories/equipments etc.
  9. Untradeable high-level rewards are good, but shouldn't come at the cost of less new items/things that can't be accessed by anyone. It's up to JaGeX to find the balance here, but I personally would love to see more high-leveled rewards that you actually have to work for, and not see lvl 90s walking around in stuff like Bandos (yeah yeah, they've earned the money, blah blah, but it's still not a good sight.).
  10. Haha, thanks :D and again, thanks for the constructive support (for others, imagine someone shouting things like "Lrn299magefaster" and "99 Mage yet?" and "Get 99 Mage already" at you every time you log on :P)
  11. By that attitude, cooking fish helps you in Pvp to stay alive. We MUST add cooking levels to PVP. People who fletch their own bows must have their combat levels incrased. People who craft their own dragonhide armour MUST have their combat levels incrased. ETC. Jagex really need to completely rework how combat works in Runescape, making it much less random and having it actually represent what levels you have in your combat skills. Armour needs to reduce the max hit of someone attacking you. I fail to see how someone can hit a 75 on me when i'm wearing no armour, and still do the same when i'm in full Statius? In this case, Herblore gives you a clear advantage that others do not have, and therefore should add to your Combat Level. The ability of cooking Monks doesn't give you an advantage: a player with a lower cooking level could just buy the cooked Monks off the GE. I think removing the pots from PvP is a good thing, however, removing them from Minigames as well was a stretch too far.
  12. So today, after yet another 99 party full of failure I achieved an old goal of mine: 99 Magic :D After Dimmeh Frog hit 99 Fletching (gratz!) we went to Clan Wars, where I Barraged Ask The Dude yet splashed, putting me 17 xp off the level. GF lol, anyways, I cast another Spellbook Swap and got the level anyway :) then I managed to mess up the screenshot, so here is the ingame message: Then we went to get the cape: Thanks Ask-The-Dude, Serpent Eye, Dimmeh Frog, Crimson Fog, Sirbrandon and Bruno for being there, and of course Ryan31rjk aka Ladyhwannabe for his ongoing support ;) What I did to get 99: 1-~70: All sorts of crap 70-85: Alching 85-90: String Jewellery 90-94: Superheating Iron 94-96: Plank Make 96-98: Bursting Rock Lobsters (got me charms putting me 200K away from 88 Summoning :D) 98-99: Plank Make
  13. Pro level plx :) GL on 99 Ryan, get with 2k total pls
  14. Gratz Nop :D shame about claws/ags but well :P make a PK vid sometime?
  15. So, since this probably also included the "small" update to Magic JaGeX were talking about earlier, imagine the big update to Magic coming next year o_O I mean, if a small update takes the max up with +16, what can we expect from this big update :o Anyways, one can of course discuss whether Magic is overpowered now, fact is, you need 91 Herblore to actually use the Extreme Magic potion, and not every single PKer has that. Also, take into account that the other sides of the triangle have received similar potions, so, in case you see someone in max mage running up to you, just take out that Dark Bow, sip your Extreme Ranging potion and rip his head off. I hope there will be many more updates to skills like this to come
