Hey, so I was at Sara gwd tonight and something on the edge of the map caught my eye. Upon closer examination, it appeared to be a room, apparently underwater, with stalagmites and stalactites. There also appeared to be a large greenish ribbed object, and another large green object in there as well that didnt have examines. There were bubbles coming from the floor, which did have examines, and the entire room had "walk here" capabilities. I took 2 pictures.

In this picture, there are the stalactites, as well as some whitish bubbles, and something green in the distance, as well as an elevated platform with something on it as well.

In this picture, you can see the mysterious green ribbed object, as well as the large green object at the end, which looks suspiciously like a gwd altar.

 

 

 

Again, the entire thing is underwater, because there are bubbles rising to the surface. I was able to examine one of the bubbles. The examine was: "precious oxygen...escaping..." From this examine, I am lead to believe that whatever you do in this room, you might possibly have a limited amount of oxygen, or time until your oxygen runs out.

 

 

 

I am not sure if this is a GWD room, it could possibly be quest related, or it could be an already existing room that I was unaware of. If this is an already existing room, please tell me, otherwise, discuss away =]

 

 

 

Unfortunately I could only get 2 pictures, considering I was at sara and my team was dying. However, I was not in high detail or anything weird, but none of my other teammates could see this.

I remember when you could barley see that room while at sara GWD, but it was all black. Very interesting find and it's new to me. Now I'm excited for some epic upcoming quest to unlock the GWD door.

Nice find! This'll stoke the fire on the God Wars Dungeon new developments for sure!

 

 

 

In the first picture I think I see what appears to be a skeleton on a pedestal/altar of some sort, so perhaps a quest element or something will be implemented. Once again, great find! :thumbsup:

I don't remember stalagmites being there. I could, of course, be totally wrong.

If I were a member and had 70 Agility I would use my dual monitor ownage to get an even furhter glimpse of it. This looks interesting!

I would have dismissed it as just another area on that plane of Runescape if not for the fact that area used to be a black space.

Something's coming... probably quest related, unless there is a fish god or something that we don't know about :P

I would say part of an upcoming quest. Maybe the Red Axe dwarfs tie you up and try to drown you, and that's just part of the quest?

Dont wana be that guy.. errm girl but an underwater boss.. doesnt fit.. Im not saying its not true but its more likely going to be a quest of some sort over gwd. Remember that all dungeons are on same plane/floor/i guess board. If you remember a lot of dungeons meet but dont connect that are on different sides of the world. Im not saying its not a gwd room just saying its more likely to be something else and we dont wana start rumors like stupid sailing or get our hopes crushed.

Drowning people seems more like something that the Fairy Godfather would do rather than political/religious/Dwarf? extremists.

Ok guys, I went back there and got some more pictures, several of which at different angles.

Agreed. I did WGS yesterday, and this is looking fairly familiar to it. That, or Jagex has accidently leaked something linked to the Marhjaat. So, either you're correct on something.

Looks like a gigantic rib cage of some sort (like the one at the entrance of the Underground Pass) and the other looks like a cage to me. Last pic looks like an altar where you sacrifice uh..stuff.

Yeah, it' been there for months. I have an old pic that I thought I posted here on the REAL WORLD MAP thread... It looks lighter than it was before, before it seemed more dark blue. :?
