Starting the Roving Elves quest, I didn't know about the time period that the people moved, but I went to the first spot to start it. Needless to say they weren't there, so I ran through traps and monsters and eventually made it to spot #2. Again, no one was there. I decided rather than run back and forth I'd hang around there for a bit and wait. After about 5min they didn't come, so I went to the first spot. They weren't there either! Finally, I immediately left from there and went to spot 2, and finally found them. That, along with the trip there, probably ate up ovefr half an hour, and that was just starting the quest :? .

I've got none. Hell, I havn't even been to the Warrior's Guild yet.

Exactly what I was thinking... I'm an undead priest, and I've beaten all the quests up to my level. I still have to grind a few more levels until I get to the point that I can solo the next quests. LMAO! PREIST!!! MAGES OWN ALL OF YOU!!!!1111!! S1ft + one Eleven!!! HELL YA :twisted: .

The thing with the Ice guy was that if you got withing one square of him it was uber easy, but if he spent the whole fight freezing you and holding you off then there would be problems (first trip was a disaster for me when I didn't get in close range, but the second trip was extremely easy since he rarely freezed me). Damis was a chump, walk in the park. Dessous, I got a glitch on him, and he ended up teleing next to me totally frozen for the whole fight, no attacking me, no moving :lol: . The fire guy, well I think we all know how he was. I believe this thread has been hijacked and turned into a DT discussion :lol: , and semi-luck discussion. Anyways, back on-topic: The topic creater is WAY too lucky for his own good :evil: .

Doubt it, most intel and communications pertaining to the SODB has basically shifted to the Official SODB Forum. This thread has basically just turned into propaganda. With these types of threads anyone with under 200 post count (300 maybe) would be able to post whatever the hell they want, whether they actually got the drop or not, due to the fact that they have not built a reputation that can actually be torn down yet. From what I know there are two groups that do this, one is 90+ and one is 95+ (I believe they generally work together).Wyvern has a link in his sig to go to one of them, but to actually acsess (sp?) either of the forums you need to be approved, meaning you have to have the right combat level to get in. So if you're not high enough to go then don't, you're just holding them back.

No offense, but Trojann's just another player people, not a god lol :lol: . My personal best for kills was around 30 I think, but that was with Ice Burst on an uber crowded World :lol: .

^ Exactly. For all I know then recharge could be anywhere between 1-5% at a time, since the bow is a 55% recharge (thus making it impossible for the intervals to just jump up by 10% ever 30 seconds).

I would definitely use it on the skills I hate, namely almost every one. Eh, I guess I'd just get 99 Smithing, own with it, then set it back to what it was until I wanted to use it again. I would never use it on any skills I like (so I guess I can use it on any one except Magic) and I would never create money, since I'm proud of being able to make my own cash. Of course, I play Starcraft, and use any cheat I want to. That may have influenced my post...

No you were wqrong reporting her. Special restoring happens at defined times. This can be used to an advantatge by specialing at the start of the fight then after the restore moment happened special again. It's smart and I like how she investigated on how she could perfectly time this to her advantatge. People that work harder should win more and so she did :D I'm glad that some investigation has helped people out more then for a better timing of certain things in wild like it does for me. If I read that right I'm pretty sure that's it. Here's what happened: She specialed, losing 55% special energy. She timed it so perfectly that the set time for a 5% recharge was exactly after her shot, thus bringing her to a 50% special energy within 3 seconds of the start of the fight. 15 seconds later (it takes exactly 5 minutes to fully recharge one's special bar) another 5% energy was added to the bar, thus bringing her to a 55% special energy, allowing her to take another special shot. Even with 1 def and 46 hp, I bet the fight could have lasted 15-20 seconds, thus making this possible, and NOT bug abuse. Though this wasn't bug abuse, I'd bet she had a timer next to her comp to help her own you perfectly :P .

No matter how much you guys want to talk, we all know Abyss pkers are cowardice scum, and yet a vital part of the Runecrafting system (without them, why do anything but Abyss craft?). So let's not make this into another 10 page thread about everyone agreeing with eachother, not like it ever goes anywhere...

I'm with you bro, but keep at it. I killed over 10k Fire Giants- Nothing. Then I decided to burn over 20k Chaos (over an extended period of time)on Steels for Magic training and the occasional drop. It took until my VERY LAST TRIP for me to get my first Dragon Drop- A Left Half :D . Too bad it didn't even cover a third of my budget there. As for my rare drops, I've had too many Rune drops and Half Keys to count, a ton -20 so far -of Barrows items (no Spear yet) and a Zerker Ring and Warrior Ring from Rex in over 30 trips down there. My luck sucks, but there's still a bit there :P .
