No one really "hates freshmen" anymore, as evidenced by the sheer lack of real hazing going on nowadays [at least in my area]. Still, doesn't change the fact that they're annoying as frikkin' hell; as Nadril said, they're still in the 'elite, kings of the school' eight grade attitude when they arrive, and generally aren't all that mature to go with their elitism. So ya, they're just... really annoying. They can argue "Ignorance is Bliss" Although i agree with you totally, don't you feel your being a tiny bit elitist? :XD: A 'tiny bit'? I see you've given up on the homosexuality argument and moved on to something else. I'll assume that means you agree. But... what's the new point you're making, and what does it have to do with the topic? All I'm seeing in that post is a further emphasis of the idea that you're just being rebellious to your upbringings :| . I also go to a Catholic school, by the way. Guess what? I've taken an objective World religion class here. Don't be surprised if you find one at your high school (or possibly even middle school), and if you do find one, please take it.

First, obligatory ^owned. Change your attitude or get lost, please. Second, I know plenty of people that have 'switched'. Although the majority of homo/bisexuals that I know were born with their sexuality set (as far as they can tell), there are still plenty of anomalies [if that's what you want to call it] where people appear to switch, or become bi. Again, little about this matter is set in stone right now, so try and keep an open mind about it.

Unfortunately, there aren't many "true christians". They are gravely misguided from my experiences. (Eg. Poor media-brainwashed rebellious 14-year old. I don't mind talking with you tomorrow about this (past one here), but for now, I'll just say this: take an objective World Religions class in high school, if it offers it. It'd do you a fair amount of good, as well as a proper educational Christian background if you're going to spend your time bashing Christianity by both attacking only it's text [which no proper Christian takes entirely literally] and not the proper stances of the modern religion itself, and citing crazy small groups like the Westboro as evidence against the entire religion. There are an innumerable number of proper Christians around who follow the true stances of the Church. It's just that you're just too busy looking at the crazy's and stereotyping the religion to realize it.

Don't go quoting Leviticus on me if you're going to try and cite [modern] Christianity as a promoter of any kind of hate towards gays. The stance of Christianity is not one that promotes any form of 'gay bashing'; True Christians love and respect homosexuals and bisexuals as they would any other person. THAT is the stance of the Church.

NO. By Allah that attitude gets annoying. Anyways... homosexuality has been thought of as very unnatural and odd in the recent past society, so it's really not surprising that homosexuality was shunned a great deal [more] at the time. Ya, religion did play a part (in that people misread religion- no proper world religion advocates any kind of 'gay bashing' whatsoever, or at least none that I've ever encountered), but don't ignore the other factors, m'kay?

That bothers me almost as much as the phrase "rain check": how did that phrase ever come to be; how the heck does it make any sense? Someone explain it to me, 'cause the phrase just annoys the heck outta me... Err, past 12, I'll make my gigantic list tomorrow or something... Wow, we get that too. Here's a handy analogy to explain my annoyance: Think of the school as a [human] body, with the rooms serving as organs and the hallways as the circulatory system. A school without frehsmen is like the body of a fit person; there is little cholesterol in the bloodstream, and thus, flow between organs through the various veins and arteries moves quickly. A school with freshmen, on the other hand, is like the body of a fat person- cholesterol piles up in little clumps along the walls [lockers] of the arteries, packing together to allow passage through anywhere between 25% and 75% of the path of the hallway. These cholesterol piles in the veins severely limit flow, causing great annoyance to be instilled in the white and red blood cells trying to pass through, and often such clotting causes them to not arrive at the proper organs or cites at the correct time. Freshmen are the cholesterol of high school. They must be eliminated.

If prices get high enough the world'll just starting ripping oil out of Canada and Utah. The oil in the Middle East is just easier to get to; it's going to be a long while before the possibility of an all-out-World war over oil becomes anywhere near realistic.

jesus is jewish. judaism and christianity split off because we don't believe jesus was a profit... and other stuff. question... where would jesus go? temple or church. :?: They never "split off" per se. Judaism had been around for a couple thousand years before Christianity, Christ came, and people started becoming Christians because of him. It wasn't like the only people that converted to Christianity were Jews; people just started liking the new religion and got it going.

I don't hear 'em much on the radio. Though, the stations in my area have frikkin' latched on to "Never Too Late". I loved the song, but hearing it all the time played on every station, and that being the only song ever on by TDG, ugh... want to hear some of the other ones >_<. I love the band, one of my fav's. Riot, Time of Dying, Let You Down, Pain, I Hate Everything about You, Scared, Animal I have Become, Gone Forever, Just Like You... damnit, I could go on for ever; they're too damn good.

Being a recluse like the rest [okay, many] of you, I have a tendency to prefer the usage of the brain over the heart, but there's always going to be times when romance emotions get the better of my rational self, generally resulting in way too much pointless and irrational overthinking about myself and how I should act. You say that now while typing on an internet forum, but when you're around her... :P . It's a metaphor, smart one. Seriously? And here I thought the heart really did provide emotion for people and tell them how to react in a situation :roll: . What I meant was where the metaphor came from. Why the heart instead of, say, the spleen? Because it's the core of the body, the center of the soul. [Random trivia: The Latin term for heart is 'cor' :o! So ya, etymological connection, and stuff...]

I believe he's going off Keynesian Theory, in which government [over]spending is a good thing that keeps the economy stable and growing when used at the right times. Problem is, the business cycle is so hard to predict, and government fiscal policies take so long to implement, that it's a little easier said than done to properly utilize Keynes' ideas in government when it comes to government spending [other ideas, like manipulating tax and interest rates, do work, it's just spending that can be rather difficult to control]. Overall, we're going to have to deal with this debt one way or another, so it's kind of hard to define it as anything close to a good thing >_>.

Woke up at 8AM, did community service from 9-12. Ate, played Xbox, caught up on FMA manga, did some other random crud. Worked from 5:30 to 10:30 Watched anime for 3 hours straight [AS]. Beddy time now. Gotta get up at 9AM for a school-related thing >_>.
