  1. Eh, I watched FMA dubbed, so I personally don't find anything all that wrong with it :-w . The clapping of the hands creates a circle within his body, allowing for the circulation of energy and the ability to perform a transmutation without the need of a transmutation circle. The body becomes the transmutation circle itself, but only because his hands are clapped to form a circle. So, choice A basically. And meol, I usually only go into FMA dowloaded manga, and I use http://www.zomgfta.com for viewing. It's at like Chapter 73 translated right now, 74 is the latest out.
  2. No, water is one atom away from being hydrogen peroxide, or H202. Though, I forget how that works out. Can oxygen have an oxidation number of -1?
  3. Is the number of believers of an idea completely insignificant? Like if I'm saying that I, as the only person on earth, believe in a big almighty blob. Would that be as improbable as the christian God since you would claim that they both lack evidence? To put it simply, yes.
  4. You say that like we're supposed to pick one or the other :-s .
  5. Right. If they think they increased tolerance or togetherness, i haven't noticed it. Heh, you live in the South :P ?
  6. There you are folks, the etymological reason behind the term "sophmoric".
  7. Possibly an seemingly endless space containing other universes, called the multiverse. But nobody knows :-$ .
  8. Do our brains every 100% fully delete any seemingly useless information? Or is it physically possible for us to recall any piece of information we've obtained in our long lives, no matter how specific and useless it is?
  9. Japan, but for different reasons (although plenty of sushi is pretty dang good :P ). If I ever learn Japanese, it'll be interesting to see how xenophobic their culture and society really is. My dad doesn't say much good stuff about the Japense nation, in the both the past and present, but I'd like to see how receptive they are to gaijin (or Japenese for foreigners) myself, firsthand. Shinto seems very interesting as well, as well as the landscape. But Japan has such a bubble culture, seperated from the world... it'd be an interesting experience. Might do it in college. Oh, and as for my first point, does anyone here watch Ghost in the Shell, Stand Alone Complex? Watch the anime carefully, and you'll see plenty of hints of Japan's (or at least the creators') opinions of the USA, or Imperial America in the anime. It's not pretty. Basically, the Japanese are always portrayed as the heroes, while the Americans are always portrayed as filthy scum, in both war stories and present events during the anime. I don't want to believe they're xenophobic as a society, but... >_<. Oh, but of course, I love anime. Can't go around denying that that would be one of the reasons I'd want to go :-w .

Eh, I doubt it, but I really have no idea where the author plans to go with this scene :-k .
  11. Hey, it's nothing, it's a very common misconception :P . I didn't know it either until I went onto FMA sites way later into the series (or after I had watched the whole thing, can't remember), and I'd bet most FMA fans still think that he's called Fullmetal for his limbs (as it's never once blatantly explained in the anime or manga :-w ). And lol at the sig comment :P .
  12. Because he didn't get the name "Fullmetal" (or Steel in Japanese) for his metal limbs. He got it for how stubborn he is; the title represents the figurative meaning as well, if not moreso than the literal meaning (which is why it's funny when antagonists always say "oh, I get it, that's why the military would give you such a stern name", 'cause they don't really get it :P ). So, basically, Fullmetal=stubborn, and that's why Ed got that name.
  13. Nostra Aetate :| ...
  14. Ya, I actually watched all my episodes of Bleach up to when I caught up, at about 117, on Youtube (which was before they started deleting anime). And up until I watched Death Note, I still used it. Thankfully I found Stage6 via looking for Death Note eps (as a lot of places had loading problems, or Youtube just didn't have the ep), and now I watch everything on Stage6 :D. I actually just rewatched Bleach Episode 58 on Stage6, as last time I watched it on Youtube. It was godly o_O (don't skip too it if you're watching on Adult Swim right now though, it kind of ruins the Soul Society arc for ya). I mean, seeing Ichigo pull out his [censored] and seeing [censored] using all of his/her [censored] in unison with the perfect light effects and quality, while Ichigo effectively used his [censored] with all his sweet [censored], it was amazing. So wish I had found this before I used Youtube; Youtube just takes so much away from the experience. Use Stage6 kiddies, even if it does take a bit to find the vid :-$ .
  15. Hehe, me too :-w . I don't really download free music, as I don't really get into music that much :-k . Some artists/bands that I love, like Three Days Grace and Evanescence, I buy CD's from. Other than that, don't do much other than using Youtube a lot just for listening to songs XD.

Focus on finding the best organazational system for you for each of your classes. It will make your year a hell of a lot easier if you organize each class in the way that best aids you (ex., some classes are best using a three-pronged folder with a small college-rule notebook for notes, while others work better with three-ring binders, dividers, and pure looseleaf, especially if the class has a lot of three-hole-punched handouts. Just find out which method(s) work best for you in each of your classes). Overall, high school's not that bad, and I go to an All-boys College Prep high school, so I think that statement actually has some weight to it :-w .
  17. Windisch  . Eh, he's not that bad a guy once you've been there a while. I got a lunch jug from him once Sophmore year for going to my locker at the wrong time on an X day (during 4th period extended lunch), but he was cool about it (it would have been a full jug, but I hadn't opened my locker yet, so he just made it a lunch one) and I knew I deserved it. Ten minutes in the caf the next day and that's all I had to do, not that bad :-w .
  18. It's not ignorant, it's arrogant. And yes, what he did was stupid and what he says in that post is ignorant. I don't care if I'm being blunt, but warri0r's got the basic good-hearted explanation down, so I'm telling this kid the truth. I don't care if I appear arrogant for not thinking that Creationism has any scientific value, but this kid's gotta realize that there's a world beyond Christianity. Evolution is a fact and a theory, and as warri0r stated, there's no debating it's validity. Get out of your little hole, see a little light, and try and open your worldview. Before you choose to reject something, try and actually understand it first. As for my statement about suspension, to walk out on science class when the teacher starts on evolution just because the little kid doesn't even understand the topic deserves at least a weeks detention. That's skipping out on class, at the very least.
  19. There's a term for those demon spawns o_O? *runs to watch Bleach* Youtube or Veoh should do it. Oh God no, don't use Youtube. Please, please, don't use Youtube. It will destroy your anime viewing experience. Not only is the quality terrible, but it's pretty hard to find DN eps there. That, and all of the eps are split in half, only place that I know where the users have to do that. Me, I used http://stage6.divx.com/ (or, at least after I went searching for better stuff than crappy Youtube). Sure, the search isn't as good, and it takes longer to load (little buffering in the beginning, then you can watch pretty smoothly while it loads), but the quality is f***ing awesome. If you want a faster load and easier to find vids, deathnote.tv has every single Death Note episode, lined up and ready to watch. It occasionally has loading problems, but it loads fast, and is better quality than Youtube (but not as good as Stage6). Overall, if you want the best viewing experience, if you want absolutely no blurryness while you watch, use Stage6. It's even the only one of the group that lets you watch full moniter, which makes it even cooler when you don't have be annoyed by accesseries, tools and tab bars around the vid.
  20. Yep, that's exactly what it looks like when I try to dunk, except there's a ball in my hands and the hoop is still another foot above me :-w . Though, I'm confused why I got the invisible stuff when assassin was the first to get one :o.
  21. You were suspended for how long now...? That post is stupidity at it's finest. I must say, I pity those who live in the kind of environments this kid does -_-". Oh, and great sig. One of the funniest I've ever seen in my life  .
  22. *looks at post count* :wall: Ya.
  23. Eh, it could be a good lesson for teaching them how much of a bastard they are when they attempt to scam people. Well, I almost got past two sentences :-w .
  24. Sorry Lionheart ^_^'. I must say this for everyone to hear. HolyMotherofGodwegotothesameschoolandwe'reinthesameJavaclass. Currently, I have seen your face before, but I do not know which Sophmore in the class you are. Anyone want to help me redefine the phrase "small world"? I am also in your class. I am the blond girl with the bouncy boobies. My name is "Candace." Wow, that's insane. This is a really small world after all o_O. Oh wait. All-boy High School, almost forgot. :P
