  1. Nevah. ... We're talking about the human race here, right? Nevah-evah. [Yes, I'm on a anti-human race realistically pessimistic roll the past few days, sue me.]
  2. I can't tell if that's spam bait, flame bait, a serious post, or some combination of the three. Is there a rule that we could use for reporting these kinds of posts? One that could justify deleting this post to keep the thread on track? Besides a "No Idiots" rule, 'cause no matter how much we want one of those we're never guna get one. Ya, I know, it saddens me too :( . Oh, and let me guess, you were reading something for another class, right? Probably homework you decided not to do the night before, and instead waste someone elses class time reading? Way to phrase your post so innocently bub, but next time try to make your faults in the situation less obvious. But it's not against your religion, it's against your personal beliefs.

He's insane. Sure, wormholes almost definitely exist in our universe, but not under some nutjobs sink  (and for that matter, if it was that small he wouldn't survive going through it... :-s ).

Well, that's what you get when a pack of guys on a forum immediately assume as the most likely possibility in said scenario that a girl would for whatever reason give her friend... err ... a _____*, even when her friend is actually a guy who wouldn't use it anyways. [*Damn G rating >_>] The way the comic is constructed, it's sometimes hard to tell if the story itself isn't just a filler within itself. Webomics, unlike novels and television shows, are far too random to sustain a constant plotline, especially ones such as Misfile, the randomness level of which is exceeded by few, if any.

Yes. I know that, but does Ash remember that? It didn't sound like it when that guy came back from uni and started to get fresh with Ash, and Ash didn't remember any of it...? :-k You misinterpret my response. I responded "Yes" to your question, and "No" to the obvious succeeding question- "Has Ash done... you know?" Then again, I may also be misinterpreting yours. The ambiguity within these responses is giving me a headache, so I'll just say it: from what I understand from the storyline and the Ask Ash section of the site, Ash has not done it with anyone, including herself, thusfar.

Yes. No. Hope that some of the responses here weren't your first thoughts when you looked at the bag :-w .

    :-s ... :-s
  8. No, no, humans have always been this stupid, you just haven't been looking hard enough :P .
  9. Oh Dear God. I used to do that. It's horrific looking at what I sounded like in the past.... :uhh: . Well, it's horrific looking at what I sound like now too, so I guess it shouldn't be all that surprising ^_^'.
  10. Total posts: 4340 Search: 3670 Not all that far off, relatively.
  11. Heh, posted that while I was typing, pretty much a simpler, better version of what I'm about to say :-w . Yep, too bad many people don't get the concept. No matter how many subjective opinions you add together, the sum is still a subjective opinion, just like it's constituents. There's no getting past that, no creating objective truth from subjective POV's :-$ . What makes truth objective? What is your method for finding absolute truth? Sorry, I was going off my theological definitions of objective and subjective truth. Objective truth is part of The Truth, absolute truth, while subjective truth is merely composed of our experiences. So, from my theological definitions, science is still part of subjective truth, but it's method thus far has proven to be the best way of obtaining objective truth, or at least from what we've observed, as findings using the scientific method hold out the best when examining the natural world. For all we know, this universe is just an illusion. We can't be sure, we can't know Truth, but that's no reason to say that examining understanding natural phenomena, which thus far have portrayed a universe with static laws, is anywhere close to being equal to guessing with faith. If what is examined can be repeated, and if it can be repeated many times beyond that, human logic speaks to say that what is observed from such tests is part of objective truth. There can be know knowing that one has found absolute truth, but at the same time, because our universe appears to have unshifting (or at the very least very very very slowly shifting) laws, natural phenomena can be tested, understood, and valuable for the future. That's how we get facts and [scientific, mind you] theories. Can you deny the value of searching for absolute truth through science, even if it is physically impossible to know that we've found it?

Okay, this can't go on for more than another ten pages before the plot continues again and Emily confesses to Ash her reasons for not wanting to return to her old life. The author hinted at it, now it's time to finish it :-$ . Damnit, twenty pages at most. It's like enduring fillers in an anime show waiting for the plot to recommence >_>. Oi.
  13. Pretty much, yes.
  14. Senior year/Year 12/Age group 17-18. Same as me. Odd. I keep thinking your 12 some times, then i jump up and think you're 19-20.... Damnit, I was going to make a comment in the first post that it was going to be annoying as hell if you thought I was younger again, but I thought you'd learned from last time :P . 17 Currently, so the latter guess is closer :-w .

Gotta go with deloria on this one. Are you trying to preach that self-defense is morally wrong?
  16. Pound of radiactive substance + a hell of a lot of splitting = bomb.
  17. What the...
  18. Personally, as long as I'm not in some haunted castle, pitch black darkness is an annoyance more than anything else. Hate having to walk slowly and hold my hands out in front of me so I don't hit anything >_>.
  19. Senior year/Year 12/Age group 17-18.
  20. This seems almost more like a philisophical question than a physical one :-k .
  21. Considering I have a phobia and a hate of not being able to use my legs, no.

  23. Pfft, I had to read 80 pages out of a play on my first day of school. On the first day I also had over an hour of Calculus homework, another hour of AP Physics, had to write a two page paper for World Religions, and had to read a chapter for Economics. Supplemented by book cover requests, forms, and buying specific school supplies for certain classes. Oh, and I had to walk uphill both ways to and from school, 5 miles in a freezing blizzard. [Okay, the last part isn't true].
  24. This is only further proof for the two well-established facts that a) People are scum and B) People are morons.
  25. subbed anime isnt so bad... especially if you havent seen the anime in english yet like deathnote =p. Although I dont think I could ever watch a subbed bleach or tenchi muyo :uhh: That's kind of how sub-dub relations work. For example, the first time I heard Renji talk in the dubbed version, it felt like nails clawing on a chalkboard, relentlessly tearing away the folds of my cerebrum. You just become accustomed to the voices in one version, and thus the other version seems so foreign (no pun intended). The same goes for FMA for me- I saw the dubbed version first, and though I don't mind the Japanese voices, I'm more used to the dubbed ones and thus prefer them. meol, I'd say subbed just for the authenticity of it, but whatever one you hear first sounds fine anyways. Your preference really just hangs on which one you hear first, not which one is "better".
