Uh, the Church is becoming pretty inclusive everyone :-s . Cute. "Don't take responsibility for their actions"? Got any idea what the Church does for the world, what it's done for the world? Any idea what any other religion has done to the world? Look past the overused anti-religion Crusades argument, and see that moderately religious people have done a great deal for the world, especially in third world countries across the globe. What have you done for the world? Now, compare that to what the Church has, what true Christians have. Maybe that'll help ya examine the Church a little more realistically. At least, I hope so anyways. Any and all True Christians that I have met are the most amazing, self-sacrificing, holy of people. They're more altruistic than I'll ever care to be. You all just don't notice that, 'cause you get all your information about priests from sensational TV news stories instead of actually going up to and talking to a priest. Here's a good piece of info: stories about priests in their daily lives don't sell. Stories about priests messing up do. Try factoring that piece of information in when you examine the true goodness and holiness of the priesthood. That does not in any way disprove the idea of a god. Not even close. There's a difference between disregarding fundamentalist Christianity and being an atheist. And DEAR FRIKKIN' GOD, would everyone stop referencing the couple dozen priests who felt an unbearable need to compensate for chastity? Have you people ever met a priest in your lives? Try some time, they ain't exactly the bad people you seem to portray them to be. Also..yes, conservative America is better than Islamic terrorism. Extremism and moderation in religion can not be put on equal grounds, especially considering the fact that there isn't much to speak of when you try and talk about "Christian terrorism". I swear, 75% of anti-religious sentiment on this forum is just teenage rebellion. God that gets annoying. [A belated sorry to all those annoyed by this outburst -_-".]

Thanks for the info. I don't have high arches, and I've been training my leg muscles for over a decade, so I hope I can handle ankle weights without medical problems (I'll probably try 15's). It'd be great for training -getting a front flip with weight on means that I can do a real one much more fluently- and hopefully it'll feel like going moving to a lower gravitational force whenever I need to take them off. So, I'll see if I'd be able to use 'em, and thanks for the info again :P .

I've considered doing something like that, but I've never been sure about the medical implications of jumping up a couple dozen pounds in a day, with that weight focused in only one part of your body, constantly. I considered it mainly for my ankles- having more weight on my legs would be good for getting better at Tricking. Still, I've had my doubts about the practicality of it, as I've never hear of it ever being used in real life. Do any, er, "professional" body builders, or biologists, or just experts, have any insight into this method of training the body? Does it really help at all once you take them off and leave 'em off for an extended period of time? No offense, but it doesn't even sound like you've even tried this, so I'd like some better personal and medical advice on the idea :| . And adding 30 pounds is enough, adding 100 pounds is suicide. I don't care how tough one thinks they are, unless they're some kind of hardcore 400-pound lifting bodybuilder, is it all that intelligient to go through your daily life like that? Major pain on the body, could possibly even overstress you, and that's not even considering the fact that'd it just make life much harder in general. I've carried around 50+ pound backpacks. Makes life painful. Very painful. You're suggesting that one reach that weight in possibly only a month, and continue adding weight from there. Uh, no please :| . So ya, advice needed, especially on wearing 10, maybe 15 pound legbands, as that's something I might try.

Always hated doing weighted crunches; I never felt like I got anywhere with them in the past. For abs I prefer leg lifts. They're difficult I believe, so they're not great to start on, but they're great ab training. Here's a paragraph from a good ab training site about leg lifting:

Are you related to anyone who died that day? Do you know anyone directly who died in those towers on September 11th? I'm not, and thus my argument follows from yours- we don't know the people who died directly, so why should we care about it to the point of venerating the day with special mourning? Why should we expect anyone outside our borders to care? Heck, why should we expect people within the borders not related to those who died in any way to care? Why? It's not like their deaths were any more honorable than anyone elses, thus I see no purpose in mourning specially for a group of 3,000 people whom I have 0 connections to. Do you believe otherwise, believe that we these people deserve extra mourning above the rest? Why?

All ya'll saying that the world will be overpopulated are forgetting that in advanced countries, the population is actually shrinking on average in each generation. It's only in third world countries, where families need the extra children for labor, that population rates are increaing. The rule goes for America as well. The major reason for our increases in population is not birth rates, but rather immigration. We take in more foreigners each year than the rest of the world combined, which explains why our population keeps increasing. Other factors result in the decreasing of population size as well, even though higher standard of living is pretty much a prerequisete for it. For instance, in Japan it is undesirable for a woman to marry (based on the current culture), so the population is shrinking there. Look at most advanced countries, and you'll notice an average negative growth rate; if we find a way to alleve third world countries of most of their burdens (which I'm almost sure we'll do), it'd doubtful that overpopulation will be one of the major problems of our future. Eh, you never know. The technology for that kind of stuff could be built underground with investments from rich entrepeneurs desiring said technologies (i.e., what rich guy wouldn'y cough up the money for the technology to mind swap, if it resulted in him being guarenteed immortality). Other technologies could be secretly created by the government and police. And others could be accepted by society up front, with no major revolutions to fight against them. Sure, I'll admit that at least a few of those technologies will be stopped in mid- or pre-creation by the public, but you can't deny that it's still possible for them to be built without the people knowing. I wonder if the belated earth magnetic shift will ever occur in the lifetime of Man :-k . That could get messy.
