  1. Just because it isn't censored doesn't mean you have to use it in a negative way. Example: My [wagon] hurts. Why censoring it to 'bottoms'. It's the same thing... That way, 'bottoms' should be censored aswell. I wonder how many people say 'My bottoms hurt' in real life. As for 'damn', I don't really see what's so bad about it. It isn't really used as a swear imo. As for 'bastard'. No idea actually... I guess you can use it as 'lucky bastard'? If anything inappropriate gets posted, it will be removed or editted out by a Moderator.
  2. I think it's an ad aswell. I don't think it's something with the forum since no one else reported the problem.
  3. Yeey Nacceh! Congratulations! Now, get another one!
  4. I agree that the activity of that forum isn't big enough to split it in two posts.
  5. They are posts which are very popular, so with a lot of posts, or handle about a subject which is popular ingame (new content, future content, ...). Woops, misread it indeed. If you mean what Laikrob says: 75 posts is the amount a post needs to become popular. (If it isn't changed that is, but to my knowledge, it's still 75).
  6. Locked on request. The owner of this blog no longer wishes to update it. If you want it unlocked, pm a mod/admin.
  7. The voting has finished and we have our rank contest winners! First place: Gameboy75 Second place: Master_Smither Third place: Elit9 Congratulations!

  9. Thanks all. And to answer a few questions: I make my money by pretty much everything: Melee: Minotaurs are a good source of money (mainly from arrows) Ranged: Things like Ankous earn some nice money aswell Magic: I've earned some money by telegrabbing Wine of Zamorak (now I use it for FoG) Runecrafting: Always made money from this (most lickely my biggest source of income). Mining: Used to do Soft Clay when it sold for 400 gp each. Later Rune Essences. Smithing: Made a lot of money by buying Coal and Iron Ore, make Steel Bars out of it and sell again. The Grand Exchange was very easy for this job. Fishing: Most of the time, I sold my fish (Lobsters, Trout, Salmon) Cooking: I even made money out of this by cooking Anchovy Pizzas and buying all the ingredients in Port Sarim myself. (Except for the Anchovy, that I caught myself) Firemaking: Never lost money, never won money, all was done with the logs I've cut myself Woodcutting: Earned very little money from this, mainly for Woodcutting. I'm a he :P I PK every now and then, when I feel like it. It's been a while since I've PK'ed though. For now, I'll just be waiting for those PvP Worlds ( and hope they'll be f2p :ohnoes: ) The Rune (t) Skirt was a newyear gift. The 200-thing in row 5 are my Runecrafting Guild Tokens. (Great Orb Project) The Fishing was Barbarian Village Fishing.
  10. Greetings all, My bank and stats: Rate or what ever. Note: I won't train crafting untill I reach 900 total. Still plenty of room in the bank since I can throw away a lot of useless stuff.
  11. Like a dream comming true! Lovely update! Can't wait to see the result :D I'd like to see the new type of account these PvP Worlds create: Characters which only log in on those worlds from the start!

I can sleep in pretty much any position... Except on my belly. High pillow, low pillow, doesn't matter. No pillow at all, doesn't matter. Just sleeping on the hard floor? Didn't hurt me when I was on survival weekend either.
  13. About the cloaks and making humans invisible... You can see because light reflects from objects and the light meets the eye. If the light comes near you, but then gets bend, it won't reach the eye. So making you invisible, wouldn't that make you blind either? Perhaps the same can be said about people who are in vehicles?
  14. The Philadelphia Project was about invisibility aswell. They tried to make a war ship invisible but failed.
  15. Pretty much all giant science breaktroughs get announced. Those people are proud they are able to create such things. And it's true a lot of people don't believe it. I think it's just because it's new, or because people have been trying so hard to find it without success. 50 years ago, most people wouldn't believe cloning would happen. Now you can get your dog cloned for 50k dollars (and the price will drop). 100 years ago, people thought it was impossible to go to the moon. 200 years ago, people thought the earth was flat. People didn't believe Columbus either. Cloning, mutation, it's all possible now. Science improves very fast. It just has to happen one day. People are afraid of new things, and certainly things like these, which will have a giant impact. Immortality? I believe we will be able to achieve this one day. When? I hope not soon. But when that day arrives, a lot of people won't believe it either (I think, times may change). As for it being a state secret. The atom bomb was a state secret. Now you can find how to make on on google...
  16. Bend indeed, not break. As for the sources: It's announced in 'Nature' and 'Science' and will be accounced in another magazine soon (forgot the name of that one).
  17. Greetings all, Today, I've read something that really fascinated me and I'd like to discuss this / see the opinions about this (war, moral, fun, ...). As you could read in the title: Invisibility. Scientists (in the US) are able to make 3D objects invinsible. I don't remember what they used for this (the objects are able to bend the light), but it works. They were able to do this with 2D objects, but they finally managed to do it with 3D objects aswell. All of their researched was financed by the U.S. Military (I wonder why [/irony]). Personally: This is one of the best discoveries ever! Sadly, just like dynamite, this will be used for war purpose. And this creates a big risk... invisible weapons (bombs, mines, ...), units (tanks, planes, boats, ...). If this will be used for comercial purpose, it might become fun though. This will open the path to a lot of fun stuff, but will be abused aswell... Burglary etc... We'll all need to be equiped with heat vision. Edit: This has been published in 'Nature' and 'Science' and will soon be announced in another science magazine of which I forgot the name.
  18. I think it used the Tip.It Bandwith, which is bad... Rather use imageshack their bandwith, they have a lot more ;)
  19. Very nice pk! But looking at the above posts, I assume you didn't make it out? :(
  20. What Errdoth suggested is about popularity aswell. People will give friends a good rating, no matter how bad it is. And people they don't like may make the best post this forum has ever seen, they won't give him/her a good rating.
  21. Just ask Lightning/Silverion/Ard_Choille/any-other-'ex-admin'-who-is-still-with-us ... They all happen to know. Personally, I can't blame them for doing so. 8-) ~D. V. Devnull I agree: Wait... What? It got disabled on this board, after the forum-crash. They already left the staff then. And Silverion isn't an ex-Admin :|
  22. The Rank Contest is now closed! The voting can now begin! So wait patiently while that happens. May the best (wo)man win!
  23. There is an automatic birthday function on this board. Where it displays the birthdays of people every day. It got disabled, no idea why actually :-k
  24. It's been given a different color to make it easier to notice. The color is whatever we like to use. Most use red, Turtlefemm uses green, depends on personal choise. And I agree with n_odie, it depends on the theme you use to easely notice certain colors.
