  1. For the record, it probably isn't the end of the world if you don't get the highest negative (wait, would it be lowest negative?) magic bonus you can... Just go with -58 and don't worry about -65 lol. P.S. You should get your range up sometime o.O
  2. Go to the black knight area in Taverly Dungeon. At the very back of the black knight area is where you want to go.
  3. Chaos rune spells? Chaos runes are pretty cheap these days. You could try FoG till you can cast Fire Bolt. Also, if you DO use chaos spells, is beating the family crest quest a possibility?
  4. The EEE uses a full spec bar. SGS uses half, therefore an average hit of 401+ with SGS makes the SGS better for healing, on average. And it restores prayer; it still has it's uses, few as it may be. In fact, at Sara mages it WOULD be more useful if your praying to not take damage. Or Zamorak mages for that matter. If you need a Saradomin item to kill mages, you're doing it wrong (should be killing zammy mages) I find that offensive and arrogant. If someone chooses to kill Sara mages, why not? Why is one "right" and one "wrong"? A person can bloody well kill whatever they can kill in RS. Sure, but the most efficient way is the "right" way, any other way is either the ill informed, stubborn, or "fun" way. As long as you include fun in there, I'm ok with it. I don't mind people saying players aren't being efficient, but I find it arrogant when people just say "your doing it wrong," Although, unless I use wilde pies, I can't find spiritual mages at all lol.

Why not ice strykes? ;) Idk. Probably because 93 slayer seems way to far out of range for me. And I guess with Kuradels dungeon, your on more of an "equal ground" with melee - Ice Strykes take double damage from fire spells, no? Mostly because 93 slayer is too far off for me >_>

  8. Well, when you put in the line ANY, I have to try. What about waterfiends with extremes and turmoil...? Yeah, most of the time EEE would be better, but I think using the word phrase "in ANY way" is flawed. What about training str on spiritual mages with an SS, deflect mage, turmoil, using zammy arrow as zammy item and SGS/SS as saradomin item? And the rest of your items don't have any "Godly" alignment? Say using prosellyte, fury, nomads cape, barrow glvoes, dragon/bandos boots? I'm certain in this peculiar, abstract case, SGS would be better. So it is false the the SGS can not be superior to the EEE in ANY way. Important part of my post that you must of missed is in capitals and in bold. Extremes/overloads and turmoil on a low def monster? Low enough def that your average SGS spec hit is 450+? That heals 225lp per spec, 450 per spec bar, 50 more then EEE. Anyways, in my peculiar, abstract case, the SGS is a sara item and the SS is as well. Remove the SS/SGS for EEE and you have no saradomin item, causing lots or a few saradomin creatures to attack you, thus the net health change as a result of EEE is less then SGS. Or again, extremes/overloads and turmoil on a low def monster. I'm not saying the SGS is a better overall choice; all you need is ONE case where SGS is better, and your statement is false (even if EEE is better 99% of the time.) What if someone simply doesn't like the fact that you need to lose what, 400lp before you can use the EEE special without risk of wasting it? Surely you can't be so narrow-minded that your brain cannot entertain the plausibility of a particular scenario where the SGS is more useful for healing?
  9. Shame there's like 1000 people in-game using Korasi's sword; like me. xD Just wear your best melee armour, bring a secondary weapon (no special attack though) and Korasi's sword. Kill her with your regular weapon for the majority; if you ever see her 'charging' herself, be sure to use your special attack on Korasi's weapon. This stops her killing your guys, you losing lots of health and you dealing good damage on her. You basically just sit there and spec when possible until you've got a decent number of rangers to kill of her healers. Be sure to kill the defilers/shifters when they come out; because they kill your archers. That should be all really. Your maxed combat, so should be very easy. I actually used my turtle up; had about 3 brews left and spammed Kyatt's Ambush. It's not necessary, but can speed it up a small bit. P.S. Unless you have recover special pots, you will get hit with the 500 occasionally, just be sure to use the spec when you can. :) Actually, you don't need spec restores. When the queen is charging her spec, your spec bar restores like 5% every second or two, at least if your spec bar is empty. Spec restores make it easier however.

I would semi agree, A melee fighter can use protect from magic, while a mage can use protect from melee, BUT a melee fighter can also pack a good ranger set in his/her inventory, while a mage would not have enough food if he filled his iny with full melee gear and runes and food. (edit) oh yeah thats right there is something called a beast of burden these days #-o salamanders ftw..... Doesn't matter. You can carry a full inventory of brews. Thanks to soul split, if you don't know how to hybrid, I can beat you without food. I've done this against level 138's using a full inventory of brews. Not to mention blood spells....
  13. Steel titans are MUCH higher then your level. With max summon (and probably def and con) it could be deadly. I can't see prayer pures as a style because all they could do is Deflect you to death, IF they somehow beat the curses quest, which I find incredibly unlikely. @ Ancient.... A fight between you and me wouldn't prove magic is superior. For one, I fail at PVP. Two, I'd probably use magic as well XD I want an arcane stream and wolpe....
  14. You should do all floors once, regardless of how much XP you get, to maximize your prestige. Then you reset your progress and start them all over. I'd recommend something like you do c6 med on your 10 lowest floors (depthwise), and c1's everything higher. Getting to 80 should take about 80 hours. Isnt Rushing at this level way [cabbage]tier for xp? When I've tried rushing i only got like 800xp and only took a couple minutes less. I'd rather get 2x the xp for the extra couple minutes tbh ALSO- WTf does Prestige even do? You rush through LOW floors, then spend the time on high level floors. Prestige means your exp gets cut in half if you don't reset. By getting through the low floors ASAP then spending more time on the higher level floors to get the max exp, you get (overall) much more exp. Also, when rushing, set the complexity very low and choose small floors. Helps you get through them faster.
  15. Considering summoning pures exist, summoning is a combat style. Personally, I like mage the most - sadly, in most situations, melee > range/mage. In fact, in general usefulness Melee > Range > Mage; at least outside PVP. (What's good in PVP in a whole discussion in itself... with people saying mage is overpowered and underpowered at the same time.)
  16. Evidently DIDN'T notice the part of today's update which mentioned updates to the damage noise when players, and certain NPC's take damage....

Note the fact that I was in full Veracs, which has a decent negative ranged bonus, my max range level for a spec was 2, and although she only has "partial" protect against range, rather then 100% immunity, the purpose of her prayer and ranged defense was designed so that for all practical purposes she's immune to ranged damage. So, fine, not 100% proved, but what's more likely: twice, with the MLB spec, I managed to be obscenely lucky, twice in a row, to shoot a powerful enough ranged attack to pierce a ranged defence so high that, for all practical purposes is (or is supposed to be) an immunity? Or that the MLB is guaranteed to hit....?
  18. obvious, but thanks for pointing it out i guess The problem with that is that the absolute max hit with zamorak arrows in safe pvp is around 400, which is far too low for any KO potential, however it could be useful in terms of being able to spec with full melee armor and not worry about accuracy, though the spec has no help in terms of increasing average damage. The people in my 2nd quote appear to have forgotten that fact bladewing. EDIT: And here is pretty damned definite proof that the MLB always hits. If I can hit on the KQ, WITH RANGE PRO, wearing veracs and wielding the MLB, that to me is conclusive evidence that you always hit with MLB.
  19. For the record, 100% accuracy could mean that your guaranteed to HIT; on the other hand it does not mean you will hit HIGH.

The point is, if you blindly trust anything said in the RSKB, you are bound to get called an idiot time and again- it has nothing to do with what i know or the tip.it, but the fact that RSKB is known to be riddled with mistakes(and you could make the argument that you just found another one), but you still used it to try and prove a point(which you terribly failed at). You seem to be just blindly trusting a fansite.... You know, I've half a mind to test the MLB thing lol.
  21. If you check out buying one from the GE, it should list the range str. Or just buy one. Or, maybe the in-game manual has it listed.
  22. Hahahahahahaha....your wrong. If the rewards stopped at 80, that implies that YOU CAN HAVE EACH AND EVERY REWARD AT LEVEL 80. Hell, there are very few people with 80 Dunge who have ONE chaotic weapon. (At level 80 your close, but unless you didn't get any reward on the way, I don't think you'd have enough tokens.) I was always under the impression that it went to level 120 because that's the level at which you have pretty much all the Dunge rewards. Anyways, how much skills have useful things in the 99? Outside Dunge, that leaves I think only smithing rune platebodies (yeah, how useful is that these days) steel titans (FTW) and a demonic throne (which I think is cool, and about as useful as 90% of construction. But some people like it - I like construction, despite the fact that most of it doesn't give ingame advantages. ). Att/str/def and range/constitution can arguably be useful at 99, but theres no actual content there. (Besides skillcapes.)
  23. Considering how many duplicate pieces I've heard of people getting, it seems logical that you can have 2 or more sets.
  24. I always thought this was more-or-less what the defender was made for. And once the dragon defender comes out.... I could try to think of a few ways that *might* make this work, but really.... I don't support this.
  25. Personally, I don't see a problem with a sling being as good as bronze knives, even though the above poster said they aren't. I've got nothing against Jagex making unlimited ammunition for something as crappy as say bronze knives.
